- In July 2017, Radiohead performed in the apartheid stare of Israel. Numerous musicians and fans were appalled as most of their musical content is entirely based on corrupted and inhuman political frameworks.
Today 05/15 on #النكبة, The Catastrophe, I sing my rendition of Like Spinning Plates to be the voice of the #Palestinians.
The vocal improvisation at the end represents the voice of the oppressed Palestinians and their liberation.

As a really really huge radiohead fan, and just as a normal person that listened this cover, i can say that this is the best cover i've listen of like spinning plates, i really loved it!!

It's really hard to appreciate the shifting arpeggios in the original with them being reversed. I've heard Thom play it on piano and it gives the song a totally different feel to the album version. I love this version of it too and what you've added with the vocal lines.
It really does, I never listen to the studio version, only the live one. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and comment on my rendition.

@@kindamusique I plan to do a remake of my cover on its 10 year anniversary, 2 years from now, it's on my channel as the channel video if interested, I was young and in college then, found that piano in an antiques store backroom and played it. I'm going to do the Why Us version, if I were to request anything from you, perhaps that would be something worth considering, I liked your vocal touches at the end and then the Why Us version coming out recently as well having its own take on a vocal followup was rather Pink Floyd like in nature even though he really only used three notes until the shift to the exit of the song, I got some good feelings from it when I put the vinyl on and heard it for the first time. Also little touches like 4:05 really speak to me a lot, I appreciate this video and your take on the song enough as is though :)
@@kindamusique The ending vocal improv and strings, it reminded me of middle eastern style acapellas and was genuinely good to hear in this, correct me if I'm wrong though in that your vocal improv was maybe a nod to the middle eastern style.

One of my favorite songs ever. It has a lot of covers but this one is really touching. I live in Israel, and Radiohead played it in their 2017 concert. Was definetly a highlight.
