Yeah, this is one of those rare instant purchases for me. Many of the lecturers are people I have been following for years, and they are at the top of their fields. For me the value is simply too good to pass on.
Getting feedback from pros is incredibly valuable when learning art, technical or not. First time I hear about Learned Squared guys but CG Cookie does the same thing in their courses with homework exercises.
Agreed, but unfortunately the recent CGCookie HB was a disappointment for me since it was just links to videos but not allowing access to the courses. This is the right way to give a course and thank you @gamefromscratch for illustrating that. I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise.
I wish there was a choice of charities or if Humble could stick to non-controversial charities such as medical, poverty, mental health, disaster relief etc rather than woke causes - it really puts me off those bundles such as this one with Girls Who Code who presumably discriminate against boys. The current woke state of game development didn't appear out of thin air and people are expected to ask for more? I've happily bought bundles I wouldn't normally have because of money going to great charities like suicide prevention and cancer research.
