I’ve literally got like 15 emails from different organizations saying “don’t panic but here are some ways to avoid the Coronavirus:
1. Hygiene”
Me too. Basically they state the same thing: "We are increasing sanitation and cleaning of our stores/restaurants, we are going to provide customers and employees hand sanitizer, we have canceled company related travel, etc..."

What’s crazy is when you think about the fact that the hand sanitizer shortage is also contributed to by the fact that people who never buy the stuff are suddenly germaphobic 😂
Tell me about it!! I'm a cashier and last week alone we had people buying $600 worth of groceries and 20 bottles each of sanitizer. NOT kidding! It was just as mad today except no sanitizer.

Exactly! I've been using hand sanitizers since I was in elementary school 30 years ago, so I have always carried it. I've always washed my hands (with soap and water) when necessary too. I was always considered "OCD" but not anymore. Lol.

Yeah, what’s up with that? I don’t get it. Hand sanitizer is great when on the go or in a pinch but since we are all supposed to be staying home unless we have to go out you’d think soap is what would be in demand!
I guess people are just too lazy to have to rinse? 🤷♀️
If u use too much hand sanitizer it creates a microbiom on your skin which created viruses like this. And your hands become repalent to getting thoes germs off. So the only way to get the micro biom off is to rub your hands off with bar soap because bar soap not only kills germs but rubs off the germs good and bad. That's why back then these diseases didn't hurt them as much. But they still hurt them because the health system was not good.

This video did take the coronavirus seriously. It’s extremely true that people are now learning to wash their hands. Also that study about men not washing their hands after using the restroom is so true. I see it in Wawa all the time. I use my shirt to open the door because as I’m urinating a guy comes in, wipes his junk out, jiggles the rest out, zips up and leaves without even looking at the sink to consider washing his hands.
So even though it’s a parody, I don’t think it was technically a parody against the seriousness of the coronavirus. I think it instead speaks the real honest truth about washing hands.

A year and four months after you posted this song, and it’s still eerily relevant! And I now have painfully dry skin from this hand washing, and I’ve never put on hand cream so many times a day as I do now. Maybe this song should be used in a commercial for like, soap ;-)

I don’t know why it’s so hard for people though. I mean, my principal would tell kids every morning to wash their hands, and still they eat and drink after each other! I mean, do you WANT to die from Corona or the Flu or something?!?!?! I live in a family of germaphobes, so I always have hand sanitizer on me, and I always use it before I eat.
