I wish anyone around the globe that can be intellectually honest understand that the 405 fostered and elevated street racing to national prominence. So every show, when all these hobbits start talking smack about taking down the 405 I wish they had a better spirit about it. Anyone that is a fan of Street Outlaws and it's subsequent derivative shows owe the 405 a debt of gratitude. I'm not a racer or a motorhead, I don't live in the 405 but I'm there enough to really appreciate the people, the honesty and passion. The nicest people are Okies and any publicity is good publicity. I learned my lesson with not loctiting flexplate & converter bolts have always set torque wrenches back to the lowest setting, one thing i've always done right 🤷🏻♂️

Good tip on taping your boats and nuts to your lift , I have found a a Cloth bag with a pull string works really well to tie to the motor lift to keep your bolts and nuts in.

Skip the tray with holes in it and just tack weld nuts of the appropriate size and number to post of your engine stand to screw bolts into them and instead of using that bar to turn you engine while on the your engine stand weld a socket to the snout of the bracket and use a ratchet to turn your engine while on the stand

That wing gives him a lot of down force, depending on his set up. Keeps the car planted and straight! He be able to apply more power, say 1/2 track.

My dad built an engine stand using a f 250 front spindle. Had Warn locking hub so you could lock the "motor" in any position you wanted.
