- I made a ridiculous build. A dominator (therefore 100 points in ecu spells) on a Thursar without the ability to cast magic. Sounds retarded? It is fucking retarded!
I made some sacrifices to fit in the points for dominate, ecu spells, creature control, advanced creature control & herding... The character doesn't have any anatomy, blocking, defensive stance, aggressive stance or meele weapon skill. So the perfect build to dismount and fight on ground... ;)

it'd be cool to see a video with a real domination build and how to successfully go out and get creatures like the tag
It's actually pretty tricky. I don't think you will have any chance getting a Tagmaton into mercy as a foot mage.
You best chance will be to dominate a horse and then doing mounted magery... Or dismount, cast the spell, and mount again.
@@Rhias15 what about with some archery skill, having to get a team together every time you want a pet is a real nuisance lol
@@losingwill8402 A "real" Dominator build is almost always a mage (since you need ecu spells for dominate ). A mage doesn't have STR, and therefore can't use a bow.
@@Rhias15 right, trying to figure out how to get something working to dom pets solo tho without needing to organize groups every time to make it happen.
@@losingwill8402 Should work with a horse. Tags are super slow so you can kite them for ages with a horse...

It's a rough build with so many drawbacks that in the end I decided against it.
It's Thursar age 31 max size. You need a gold amulet with 50+ points to make it somewhat work.
Creature Control, Advanced CC, Herding, 100 ecu spells and 100 dominate. Controlled riding, mounted combat, lance skill. Endurance for passive regeneration. Armor training ~ level 50.
Already all points spent. Nothing left for anatomy, blocking, defensive stance, aggressive stance or any ground weapon skill. Once dismounted your're basically dead.
A mounted dominator probably makes more sense on a human mounted. More total skill points and skill point buffs to the mounted abilities. A mounted human mage could even utilize the points spent in ecu spells. Or probably a human mounted archer or combat with at least some survivability by healing the own mount.
The earthquake thursar isn't a meme build. I run it too. Earthquake is extremely strong right now and so is the psyche pool necessary for the mana because the meta is Pets, Mage and Mount currently. So anything that can disrupt that meta is going to be strong. Any thursar running earthquake should be able to 100-0 a mage before they can remount if casted from the ground. They rarely drop to the ground with a tower or melee weapon out, usually they drop with a bow or a their hands out.
This dominator build on the other hand. I don't know. It can't be too bad actually because any build with pets is strong right now.
You can fit earthquake on a Dex Thursar easily at 20 clade mana pool. Pre 20clade you can make adjustment. You also get magic reflect on this build. It's 200 points for a perfect 60 mana earthquake. By taking earthquake on a footy you should be dropping your mounted skill for it. You can fit max footy and earthquake in a build easily.

Lances are only around 90. Was to lacy to level it. :D
