Define success. Financial success? Get a small group with specialized builds and farm boss monsters. E. g. 1 or 2 people with a turtle to kill a troll or small group for a spider queen. If you're talking about the most success for solo it's probably getting some human mounted archer / mage with self healing abilities. Great survivability. Of cause beeing sneaky is also an advantage, but usually people catch you at joke points that you can't avoid e. g. the jungle enteance ramp. Wearing light armor doesn't really increase your survivability. But it reduces your cost per death... Unless it's nooblike enough that some people think it's not worth it to kill you. :D Mostly I die to groups of mounted players with pets. And once they spot you, you're basically dead. No chance to outrun them on foot, and the pets follow you so also hard to get rid of them ( unless there is water).
@@Rhias15 do you think being a scavengers worth it? basically avoid any combat but close to it at the same time to take any free loot and then move out ASAP
@@Shoegazebasedgenre0. Never heared of such a playstyle before. Most of the times people loot directly, and you won't get any loot unless you're really close to the fighting (or inside the fighting). I think you will have better chances sneaking up on players in player villages/houses, kill them quickly with a strong weapon e. g. a maul before they can react, and then leave again before any backup arrives. So kind of a thief/assasin playstyle.
@@jonyanderson Some pets can be only dominated, and not tamed, such as Celanos, Tagmatons und Crabs. All tameable pets are also dominateable. Tameable pets can be traded, dominated ones can't.
