Hey Carl, look forward to the video of the one with the CarPlay. Does this come with all harnesses and adapters needed? I’ve got an 03 with the fiber optic Bsoe system and CD Changer. Some aftermarket systems systems require a new amp to power the sub so I was wondering if the audio is unaffected. This seems perfect since I don’t need to go shopping around for all the different brackets and wire harnesses and I DONT feel like paying a shop $1500 to do an install, even if this is an android unit which I don’t mind if it’s plug and play :). Also, does this retain steering wheel controls? Thanks
Hey Darren it does come with harnesses and adapters, also for fibre Bose System, I think there’s an option to select that will get a decoder device, to make the audio work, also yeah the steering wheel controls work , if you were in the UK I would have done for it for a much better price 👍🏾💯

My car is Mercedes clk 2005 I want to change the factory radio to android radio.. does the android can change the time the clock on my dashboard too like a factory radio?

I put an iLX-W650, Alpine in my C230 Coupe, looks good, sounds great with the 12" inch sub and balances the stock speakers from 2003. 😊 Love my Viper Alarm too!
Not gonna lie, I do miss my original cassette head unit but the Spotify works best.

hey boss does the gps come with it? Also, do i need to connect any special or extra cable for it to work with the steering wheel, or is it automatically compatible with the steering buttons. Do i need to buy an aftermarket microphone for the bluetooth either?
for the bluetooth calling
Everything is included such as gps, mic for the bluetooth (also has built in mic), steering controls work you only need to check if your radio has bose speakers if it has you need to select the option that it has bose speakers as there is a special cable to make your sound work, if it has standard speakers like mine you’ll be fine 👍🏾💯

How did you get that USB Cacle into the compartment? Did you drill a hole in the back?
You can do but I pull the plastic to adjust it to shape for the usb’s to pass through but be careful not to damage it

Are the steering wheel controls working ? did you connect the rear view camera and the DAB aerial ?
I showed the steering control working, also I don’t need DAB as this unit has bluetooth and everything, also i’ll post a video soon on installing rear view camera

Been looking at doing this for years. But my issue is the car has a BOSE fibre optic system that uses the D2B protocol so I’ve been told I can’t just plug and play. Need to run new wires to speakers.
There’s a decoder that actually is plug and play check the other video i did 👍🏾💯

Are you okay? I’ve shown in plenty of my videos installing headunits there’s no shame in what i’ve done, also you should know I make myself look silly almost all the time as a joke so it doesn’t bother me. I’m not sure what you’re trying to get at but, any way have a good day.
