From the UK and familiar with fancy dates. Especially for Ramadan when dates are the traditional way to break the fast every night. And we Used to have them for Christmas in the 70’s of course 😀 But living in a mainly Muslim area fancy packets of dates are common in the local shops.
King crab is like thicker, sweeter snow crab in regards to texture and taste. Cracking the leg is an exercise in pain unless you wear thick gloves and possibly a hammer due to the sharp spikes and thick shell. The flesh holds it's shape very well and doesn't get as pasty as a blue crab. Fresh (and even frozen) it is absolutely delicious.

The thing to remember about CBD is that it is expensive. A 50ml CBD tincture costs upwards of $50-90 (in CA). Depending on the CBD content, and the added bitters, this might be a decent deal.
That price isnt coming down anytime soon either. Cbd strains are just starting to be developed and your lucky to get 5% cbd content in a strain. So it takes 5x or more plant material to produce
CBD is mainly extracted from hemp though which is industrially grown. Strains have nothing to do with that. People are just price gouging because legal cannabis in all it's various forms is super trendy now.

But dried/candied fruits and dates and nuts were not quite what you'd expect as a little kid lol oh we also got marzipan fruits in our Christmas stocking. My grandma was born in Germany. That was a treat for her growing up. Marzipan fruits and a huge orange and apple in with little toys. I'm really old I'm not sure you could buy marzipan anywhere now you'd have to special order it in the US
Honestly as an avid consumer of cannabis for many years, it really gets under my skin that everything under the sun that can throw "CBD" into it, is now throwing CBD into it and charging absolutely ludicrous prices. People are being taken for an absolutely bloody ride with this market. On a less grumpy and cynical note, Poppy is an absolute gem and Im so glad she's showing up in more videos.
Especially when they load it up with some bogous medical claims. I came across Poppy via you guys...and I'm so grateful. She's a bloody queen!
She's a breath of fresh air! I love her energy.
I wouldn’t be mad if Poppy became a more permanent member of the SORTED family! Love her and her energy so much!!!
Same. She's a revelation.
its i great to see Poppy she is down to earth and more normal that the rest of the team - she says things that a normal person would say. can you imagine the lads saying something was tacky!
I love Poppy. I love her laugh. She's a wonderful guest
I love this attitude. All the guys say 'it pretentious' while wrinkling their nose at it.
Poppy's like 'hell yeah it's pretentious and I'm going to buy a box to put on my bar so I can show it off.'
I'm so hoping that Poppy remains a regular on the channel. I absolutely love her energy.
I'd love to see if you guys can make your own boxed candy type things but on a budget, sort of like those filled dates.
I absolutely love seeing Poppy around the channel. I think she is a very lovely addition and her personality compliments the boys' quite well. She's like a more excitable James in terms of sass level, as we always love to see sass around here
I love the Poppy videos. It would be great to have her as a regular fixture in the group. It would be fun, too, to have a pass it on with the three chefs. It would be interesting to see what they could create in that kind of collaboration.
“It’s a little bit like drinking squash with gold in it” I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO
they made so many jokes about the “sweet and sticky dates”, but they didn’t acknowledge that there were nuts in the dates…
After all, what’s a date without a few nuts?
@@ladykayla7417 not worth £129.99 that's for sure
Gotta assume some stuff was left on the cutting room floor lol

I love Poppy more and more with each episode! I think she fits the vibe of the team so well. More please! :)
Poppy brings a fantastic energy to the videos, love the banter between you all!
Poppy is a breath of fresh air to the channel. I would love to seeher stop by more often.
Poppy's reactions and innuendo are priceless! love it
"Organic dates - sticky indulgence."
"The best kind of date"
"Oh come on!"
... That's why it's sticky, Barry.
I'm in love with Poppy, she's so fun and sassy, a great addition to the recent videos
Poppy please come back for more!!!!! You are such a fun breath of fresh air!
I love your videos with poppy, she’s so fun x with baz and Jamie it’s like a group of teenagers bantering while looking through the kitchen cupboards. More poppy please!
Really loving having poppy on the show. Great to see some more diversity
The thing to remember about CBD is that it is expensive. A 50ml CBD tincture costs upwards of $50-90 (in CA). Depending on the CBD content, and the added bitters, this might be a decent deal.
cbd vape juice is spendy too especially of its high MG
The whole presentation of it is pretentious as heck, though.
That price isnt coming down anytime soon either. Cbd strains are just starting to be developed and your lucky to get 5% cbd content in a strain. So it takes 5x or more plant material to produce
@@rolfs2165 yea they absolutely could have shaved the price down by like 10 quid with a simpler box design
CBD is mainly extracted from hemp though which is industrially grown. Strains have nothing to do with that. People are just price gouging because legal cannabis in all it's various forms is super trendy now.
Hey thanks for this I love seeing Poppy, since James left it's nice to get some new energy and she's so down-to-earth I love her
Poppy has been a welcome guest chef on Sorted and I hope to see much more of here, because her sense of humor is amazing!
Poppy is an awesome, super fun, addition. She can show up in anyway she please. A bit of a feminine influence is something I didn’t know Sorted needed but it’s very welcome! The woman has an amazing sense of humor and is totally relatable. Will look forward to more content with her.
Poppy seems such a part of the team, I'd be happy with anything she does with the lads. I love her energy, her humour, and her presence in the show.
Anyone who has watched Deadliest Catch knows about King Crab, the Russian's work one part of the Bering Sea (between North Eastern Russia and Alaska) while the American fisheries work the other.
Lmao! Poppy needs to do ALL the "Is this pretentious?" episodes. Her reactions are hilarious. Like, she may be trained by a Michilen Star chef... but she is a woman of the people.
I absolutely Love Poppy. She fits in with you crazy guys so well.
Aw... I missed this yesterday because I was working, but what a great start to my birthday! Thank you Sortedfood & Poppy!
I really like how Poppy fits in the Sorted group, hope to see her more often in videos.
Get Poppy in as part of the team permanently - she seems lovely and is clearly a great fit and everything works better with two chefs and three normals.
She works in a Michelin starred restaurant. Why would she want to do this instead? xD
NO. She is unbearable.
I am not a fan.
I love Poppy! More please!!
I've lived in Dubai for 12 years now and Bateel dates are a Christmas day treat for us. Dates and lovely traditional Arabic coffee. Can't ask for more
My grandparents would have loved that box of dates. My grandmother always got a huge platter of preserved fruits and dates for the Christmas holidays.
It always looked so pretty!
I'm really old I'm not sure you could buy marzipan anywhere now you'd have to special order it in the US
of all the guest chef's I think she fits in with the group the best, hope to see more in future episodes
Omg we need more Poppy. She is absolutely hilarious.
Just because there are a few studies that show benefits for very specific products does not make your tonic a cure for every illness in the world. If you have mental health issues, don't try to self-medicate them but go to a professional for help.
I know right I can buy multiple drinks with thc+cbd for less then those bitters
And the fact they think CBD gets you high 🥴
@@georgiabeech1967 Yeah, literal cringe xD
@@heidirose5528 ok
Poppy is a great fit in the Sorted family, would love to see her in more
@@1Slamalama1 how so? I'd be interested to hear what you think is "Wrong"
Poppy is my favorite guest always. Well James but I don't consider him a guest. He's family. Like, "Uncle James is here dad!"
That's exactly what it's like when James arrives :)
"Oh look everyone, it's Uncle Jamie!"
"I hate Uncle Jamie!"

Poppy is such a mood, I adore her 🥰🥰🥰
I love Poppy so much! She's the most down to earth Chef I've ever seen.
Haha I like poppy! She is very genuine and herself. I was hesitant of watching a SORTED video with new add on person but I think I'll click instantly now if she's on it! She's funny
As someone who has a very high sensitivity to the taste of alcohol : the phrases "pure alcohol" and "tastes delicious" do not exist in the same sentence under any circumstances.
i love poppy, she's always such a great guest, i hope she'll be in more videos soon!
It's Sorted, Poppy's forevermore!
She's knowledge, wittiness and a spirit that add on to make an even more perfect team.
As soon as Poppy lifted that box of dates and they all fell out, I thought, "This is a chef we *NEED* to have on MasterChef Australia!" Poppy, we need you here in Australia - please come!!!
