A hectic first half followed by a mad dash for respawns. The latter isn't particularly thrilling, but when chasing high scores, even the slightest opportunity for optimization can draw sweat. Do wish it didn't boil down to that, though, but I suppose it's to be expected of an early mission.
Such is the need for speed that the Foxhound beats the PLSL overlord, the Su-57. With the A-10 for Cape Rainy Assault, that makes two very unlikely candidates that wound up being the optimal aircraft for their respective missions.

Apologies for the reupload, it was completely stuck at 360p.
Also, because my editing software has been washing out the color in my videos, I've had to overcorrect contrast/brightness in the preview window, and hope the render comes out as I want it. It's been working well... but not with a sun as bright as this one. Whoops!

And then you just pursued with the AC2 theme, the switch from El Dorado to Fire Away was on point, and then you went ahead and even added the good old Completion! I wasn't sure what you'd do with the debriefing, but turns out A Fresh Youngster was a great way to round out that rocking carnage.
"This isn't even a fight!" I agree with Champ, that was no fight, you just massacred those UAVs, and the planes that came after them, and all the targets that were there before as well!
he's not the only one. The Ace 2 ost is my favourite and seeing it used like that was just a thing of beauty. Plus that incredible score and flying!

The Mig 31, like flying a bus with two rockets on the back of it. AC7 really only illustrates distinct differences in performance of a given plane at the extremes.
Like the fucking Su-30 (no canards version) , it’s The Only Plane I the game that can actually pull High AoA Without High-G ! 🤨
The MIG-31 is known to have it's wings warp at intense Gs to the point the airframe becomes practically worthless and it's made of a titanium alloy so it being expendable is not a option
@@firepower7017 It's also known it's engines will only hit Mach 3 ONCE.

Uh, I seem to remember reaching 38K without trying on my no damage run, using a F-15E plus SFFS. It's not quite as fast as a 31, but it's SFFS makes it capable of clearing the larger chunks quicker. Maybe I should try going hard with it, see what kind of score I end up racking up.

Because given Tuga's runs he's probably had lots of retries in, and he needs to fly that tunnel every single run for the ace.
@@arieltimeshrine8137 No, because I'm murdering brave Gripens. I love that AC always represents the Gripen's ruggedness well, having them take off from tunnels and highways in almost every game... but it hurts every time :(

The Pulse Lasers are awesome in Multiplayer. I used to use the F-15C's SASMs, but the PLSL has a long range and doesn't need a certain angle to hit. It's especially fun to shoot it into the furball that usually forms in the center of the map getting a couple hits and maybe a kill
See, it helps to remember when and where enemies make an appearance - Not to mention being accurate and making sure your missiles/lasers and gun ammo counts (at least)

Well done Tuga! It's about time you did this mission ;) I've only tried it once with the MIG-31 and got 44k. Of course that was when it only had 350 PLSLs, gonna have to try it again and see if it does better than my Su-57. Great work, buddy!

@@Redcomet19 True, but on this mission theres a ton of air targets, you can wipe out all the aircrafts at the first base with the 4 AAMs, and the Tu-130 just with the canon, out of all the score missions, i think this one you don't nescesary need ground weapons.

It was a tricky one because of the timing. I wanted to take care of the enemy aircraft at range with the PLSL *before* taking the tunnel, because I'd come out in the middle of a dogfight. The problem is I could never predict when the Gripens went active, so I had to always maneuver there at a moment's notice.

That one you can't. There's actually a hard cap before the mission update. It's actually possible to shoot down all aircraft and then fly around aimlessly waiting for time to go out. It might be interesting if he could nail all the drones though.

Hello, TugaAvenger. As i remember, you filmed a few videos about saving story characters in some missions by fast playing them. So i became interested: can you save allied aircraft at oil plant attack mission by destroying drones as fast as you can and can you save ships by very fast destroying Arsenal bird?
I don't think we actually lose any ally in M8, and the Arsenal Bird is invincible until Rosa destroys the transmitters.

Yeah. I don't know about other missions, the DarkStar has its drawbacks, but anything the MiG-31 can do, it can do better.

I recommend you take something with bombs (UGB), like the A-10C. The only objective in this mission is to destroy enough targets within 15 minutes - bringing bombs will make that much easier, by allowing you to clear ground targets quickly.

AC2 came out years earlier, you know, so it should be that JA is the remix.
He means the copies *in* JA, he's not calling AC2's tracks copies. And no, because I don't actually have the JA OST, and to be honest I only realized that right now.
He did say "copies from", so it sounded like that. It has admittedly been years since I touched JA.

He thinks PLS is cheap? If anything it's a jack of all trades weapon
It is obscenely powerful on single player, so I generally avoid it. But when going for high scores, there's no other choice for most missions.
In the vídeo of junte 5th he played ac7 misión 4 where he chiste sasm instead of PLSL on his f15c because he said PLSL are cheap

+Jurgen Nolte. do you not see the MG ammo counter? it had 2400 rounds, why is that significant? because the MG ammo counter only shows an ammo count on a hard or ace run, on easy or medium you get infinite MG ammo. so even if you don't believe it's an ace run this fact alone makes it a hard run bare minimum (i personally take tuga at his word that it's an ace run but that's just me)
@@jurgennolte7577 Check the end results screen. You only get the 1.5x rank bonus for playing on Ace; it's 1.2x on Hard (iirc), 1.0x on Normal, 0.8x on Easy.
