just wanted to thank you for all your videos. this kind of devotion and efforts you put in making each video are incredible. can’t imagine how much time it takes to edit and record! last of us 2 was my first game. i didn’t use to be interested in video games in general, but this game changed everything. i’ve slowly managed to increase difficulties through multiple playthroughs. currently i’m playing at survivor+. at the same time i was digging into the tlou2 stuff on youtube, then i found your channel. and tbh i was blessed! your content is exactly what i need. it helped me a lot in improving my gameplay. i’m so grateful to you! i’ve just finished abby day 3 on survivor+ watching your vids and following the advises from them. sometimes I was literally playing with your vids in the background pausing the game after each killing to check if i’m doing it correctly. and i miraculously managed to get through without critical damage or wasted resources! couple of months ago i couldn’t even imagine that i’d make it on survivor+. i kept failing on stealth because of wrong timing, poor cover or body discovering, and i kept wasting my ammo. but now i learned how to deal with the all encounters and enemies. even if something goes wrong, i will know how to manage it. also, most of the times i was a bit impatient, but after your vids i truly became budda at waiting for the right opportunity lmao. sorry for sounding like i’m advertising some kind of life changing thing lol. it’s true in a way. if it weren’t for you, it’d take millions of years to master my gameplay. besides, it feels good to see that someone is so into the game that i love with all my heart. guess i’m your fan now! looking forward to finishing all your vids and waiting for new content.
P.S. after finishing this difficulty planning to play on grounded using your guides for survivor+. i think there is no crucial difference between the two difficulties.
P.P.S tbh i wouldn’t mind to donate you on patreon or smth, because i believe this kind of content making should be rewarded and supported.

To be honest, my first play through was a shit show. I died lots, ~I didnt understand the gameplay loops and how each responds to triggers. Plus i am more a PC gamer and more used to aiming using the keyboard and mouse than a controller. It wasn't until I watched a few videos that criticised the games for suggesting stealth play but not making it viable that I decided to try and complete as many encounters as possible using just stealth take downs, and that is where the real enjoyment of the gameplay started to develop for me. The game allows multiple different play styles and you can incorporate all of those based on what is going on.
I've been working on a combat guide for the game...probably going to be around 4+ hours of video content coming soon as im going super in depth with encounter types, triggers and how to deal with them and looking into each weapon and how to use them. Lets just just there will be a couple of triple kills in there ;0)
Ive yet to give grounded a go but from what ive seen there are difference between survivor+ and grounded. Im contemplating doing the full perma death experience.
I also want to see if i can punch the rat king to death, I have a method I've worked out in my head that should work.
No need for donations of any type, this whole video series has been a lock down project and all I kind of hoped was that it would help those out those who were on the multiple play through path.

@@TheChefGaming looking forward to watching your new vids! especially, punching the rat king to death (sounds like smth people would do for guinness world record lol). also, grounded walkthrough guide would be really helpful! i’ve tried some grounded encounters, but i sucked at it... so yeah i see that there are some serious differences between survivor and grounded. still wanna give it a try tho to get the achievement. currently i’m playing perma death. i was ok until ellie’s encounters with stalkers.. (GOD I HATE THEM SO MUCH) but anyway thanks to your guides i’m less afraid of this game ;)

They should work for all difficulties. I haven't tested grounded yet and as far as I know the only difference between survivor+ and grounded is permadeath.

@@TheChefGaming permadeath is just a modifier which can be applied to any difficulty it has no connection to grounded

@@paulkyle you are correct good sir. I haven't really looked into it at all. Survivor+ was the hardest mode when I started these vids so it made sense to stick to that for consistency. Reading up on what grounded is it appears to be a continued escalation of AI difficulty and reduction in resource volume. I don't play with hearing ability so having that disabled wont effect this aspect of the encounter methods. The levels will play out the same though as the method of removing enemies takes out sight lines that will effect kills later in the level should you not kill those specific AI. So the routes through with kills should work but I wont 100% commit to that statement until I try it which will be in another couple of weeks.
