I like your solution for making it work with a smaller sled. Brilliant.

Good luck getting it. ON back order as of 3.10.2022. Telling me I might bet mine in April.

I appreciate how concise you were with this because I just bought the 7491rs and I am looking into this crosscut sled.

Very well done. Ive been wanting to make or buy one of these for my 7491rs but I can’t have extensions on it when dragging it around job sites unfortunately. I have made due with a nice incra mitre gauge though.

Could you provide the dimension of your cabinet? I am having to build the same for my Dewalt 745S? Thank you for consideration of my request.

The total height is 29 inches without the rolling castors, the total depth is 29 and the length is 52in. I build it in two stages, the bottom cabinet is 14 in high, 29 in deep and 52in long. I put the saw in the center and frame the two sides in based on the table saw height. I no longer have the cabinet so i cant give exact dimensions for that.

Hello, I almost ordered this sled today until I came across your video. I have a Dewalt 7491, with the exception that mine has a stand, I don’t understand why it isn’t compatible I didn’t see a major difference...., is it because there need to be support on the left of the saw like you table you built? l

Hello, I think thats the case, without supports it can be dangerous.

Notion Lab ok great thank you! I actually called Rockler’s tool expert hotline and they said the same thing. They said the sled is very heavy and it would be difficult trying to use it. Also they advised to make sure my miter slot measurements are the same as the miter bars on the sled, however he said they are screwed on so if not I maybe able to find bars that interchangeable, but most importantly get table space for the saw to use the sled.
