dinosaur horror and thrillers have so much untapped potential that unfortunately jw has pretty much abandoned in favor of a family audience, I'm glad creators like you are tapping into it unlike Hollywood these days. Great job

I’ve wanted this since I was 10 , no it’s not insane quality but I thought jw 2 was onto something with that beginning opening scene with t rex and mosasaur , I’ve always loved the little side mission scenes I feel like that’s what made the franchise so great
I have not read the book yet, but what I have heard these are in tune with the source material.
In their defense, SOME few scenes were magnificent like the scene with the Indoraptor stalking the clone girl, the sewer Baryonyx or the really tense scene with the Therizinosaur!
But yeah the rest was meh at best
No matter how hard i try in dinosaur animations i just can’t get your level of cinematography. Keep it up!
It's all practice, my man! Also, watch your favourite movies and try and emulate your favourite shots to build up your cinematography arsenal! Your animations are lightyears beyond good!

It'll be wonderful to see dinosaurs on Isla Sorna again. The JW films and Camp Cretaceous kind of abandoned Sorna for some reason.
The closest we got was Battle At Big Rock though that seemed like a one time fluke.
It’s probably left as a nature reserve so not much reason to go there unless you’re doing a parody of David Attenborough’s/Morgan freemans documentary career

Alone, and on a deserted jungle infested with dinosaurs after a plane crash! What could be worse? Looking forward to Sorna, part 2!

Gotta say, something I really love about your horror animations is the fact that you utilize anticipation! I’ve seen other people try their hand at dinosaur horror and they tend to take the approach of ‘big scary dinosaur roaring at you’. I love how you often don’t even reveal the dinosaur fully- we just see flashes of the teeth and face, or things hinting at it(like the bushes shaking or the shadow through the window as it moves). I think this short, and your Spino attack one, are really great because they give you a sense of dread and anxiety through that anticipation and not fully knowing what’s stalking you at first. Very well done!!
Yeah, the constant roaring is what they're used to with the JP franchise. But for dread, the original dinosaurs from what we knew of them would be far better - patient, stealthy, almost silent until you saw the shadows moving, and then it would be too late.
This guy knows the same thing Lovecraft did, and that Spielberg used in JAWS - Fear of the Unknown is the greatest fear of all, don't show too much of your monster, things are always scarier when the director leaves the audiences imagination to fill in the blanks.
Everyone is different, left to full in the blanks everyone will fill that with what they find the most scary.

i did NOT see the rex during the phone call and when it moved my mouth dropped so hard, seeing the rex become absolutely terrifying again brings such pure joy to my soul, I LOVE this content and all the work you do please keep it up.

Okay, this looks amazing. I couldn't tell the character was animated for a bit, which speaks volumes.
I really respect how you decided to try a video mixing green screen with real persons acting, it is definitely not an easy thing (especially with the blurr and other stuff).

My recommendation for the survivor would have been to hide crouched down between the airplane seats after quietly closing the nearest plastic window covers so that the Rex couldn't get lucky and see his movement. Plus be as quiet as possible and take short, shallow breaths inside their shirt to muffle any sound produced.
Hopefully the Rex would lose interest with the crash site or if not, home in on the deceased crash victim instead.
That's another thing. Hide far away from the body so that if the Rex tries to dig through the wreck, the body will be snapped up while you're safe from detection.

This is the kind of JP content I waited my whole life for. Feel free to animate this, one of my nightmares while in uni was dinos (including velociraptors) loose. At the time my best friend and little sister were also in uni and the anxiety in that to find them and keep them safe was through the roof.
Dude this makes me want to go back to writing creature feature stories. Seriously love the effort put behind this and how it even inspires or foreshadows other stories on the island too.
