    I've noticed on my xtp that searching in park 2 is much more sensitive to Gold then Beach 1 is, especially the smaller gold pieces like earrings. One, because it's in 15 khz as opposed to 8 khz and because you can also run it virtually wide open in the dry sand in park 2 and pick up those really small gold pieces. I only use Beach when I'm in the wet sand. Just my two cents.

      This new Xterra pro is great , fully stabile in salt water and works just as good as an Equinox at beach $289 for me out the door at Bass pro shops store here in town

    Como se comporta el xterra en parque y campo. O solo
    funciona bien para playa?
    Con el precio aquí en mi país del xterra cuesta 443 dólares es muy caro no ?

      Right it shares from the Vanquish like shafts I think and definitely coils , this machine is supposed to be able to use Equinox coils as well

      Ahh Mate it was really windy and cold I wanted to do a better video but I was too impatient to get out and try it out, I plan on doing a much more thorough one soon and do a comparison with my 600 soon too when I get it back from the breakers

      I have gone several days 4 hrs at a time before recharging it and I was never Down to 1 bar so I would guess it’s good for 15 hrs my guess . I run beach 2 in dry sand sensitivity 19 and in the water beach 2 16-17 sensitivity all tones with iron on and do noise cancel run Auto tracking ground balance . You can activate the handle vibration but it’s not the strongest of sensation to feel it swinging it in water

    I noticed when u took the headphones the numbers popped up coukd the headphones be interfering or no? Im new planning on buying this model here in the next week or so

      The waterproof headphones I use are repaired and have an incomplete rf shield connection so it’s possible , do not dig based on numbers they are only one piece of the information triangle the tones and how they break on this machine are great most people that try this are used to Equinox with a -10 to 40 scale this goes -10 to 99 so familiar targets they dig will have way different numbers , the machine gives you fluctuations on numbers on targets that are irregular shaped Round good numbers keep just as steady as my 600 multi does , it’s a great value only thing I don’t like is the cam locks on the shafts I find to be sub par

    When in Beach mode dose it notch anything out like the Simplex do.

    • @ifindmetal
      @ifindmetal  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Iron is notched out unless you want it like all Minelabs all you do is hit the horseshoe button to turn iron on or off , but yes you can alway notch out any numbers. In any mode I don’t notch stuff

      @@ifindmetal thanks cos I don't want to Notch anything out the Simplex is not great on the Beach so I am thinking of buying the Xterra pro.

      @@tonylynch8092 right I used a Simplex for a year trying to make it work as beach machine it only really worked good in dry and even then it missed some stuff. My first test looks like this will work in the very wet how it performs in the water that’s yet to be seen , I bought this for my backup machine but it might be my go to in the water if it works in the water well
