Vintage Lone Ranger Action Figure - Restoration and Review (Gabriel/Marx Toys, 1979) - w/ Box

I'm a tiny channel so do consider subscribing, and sharing with your collector friends!!! I picked up this vintage action figure from eBay for around 35 Australian dollars. He had torn clothes and was covered in a layer of dirt. He also came in his original box, which has a number of tears in it. In this video, I show how I cleaned and repaired the figure, and share my thoughts on the toy line. I'll upload another Lone Ranger video soon! I've got a number of rare items I've recorded videos on, including El Lobo, Tex Dawson, and Tonto's trained eagle.

I had this when I was 5 and it fell behind some furniture and when I was 7 I found it and was so excited because I forgot I ever had him 😂😂😂 Such fond memories of this figure and Tanto, Silver and Scout!

Gabriel designed and released this line in 1973 in US but Louis Marx marketed and distributed in Europe and elsewhere. This toy line ran for 8 years finally ending in 1981

I just acquired tontos horse, the scout. Original box amd still have some kind of wrap on its head.

The Lone Ranger action figures came out in the early 70’s, 1972 or 1973.

Obviously being born in the late 90s I'm a bit too young to have a definitive stance, but you're probably right if you were around to remember them coming out during this time

Gab Garde it’s all good. I Have the Lone Ranger including Danny Reid the boy. Both of my action figure is in 1973. It will state on the back of your doll. But good job on your restoration 👍🏻 I love them. I also collect the Bionic Toy action figures.
