Hello! I found your channel a day ago (or two). I clicked because of your channel name. I could register RN right away. I used to work in the medical field. I knew it was Registered Nurse. I have increased my meat intake almost a month and a half. I slowly taken out yogurt, fruits and veggies. I see some progress with this. I am sleeping better. I have stronger focus. I seem to have a bigger sense of community. I have lived a primarily low to no carb life almost 5 years. I got rid of the sweets. Stopped drinking juices. Exorcised "traditional" soda. I did so because I was overweight. I had Type II Diabetes. I had mild depression. I was in the process of breaking up with my second fiancee. I wanted changes to help me live. As I age, I found reasons to not go back. I reversed my diabetes. I lost weight. I saw how I used to be. I notice people around me. My greatest influence is my family. Knowing the family history. Seeing how they did live/are living. I'll be 38 in January. I have no shame saying that. I spent my life thinking I was okay when I really wasn't. I have built discipline these last 5 years. Stuff I have used even on actual vacations. When I hit my 40s, I want them to be the best full decade of my life. I yearn to grow older.
Wow. Thank you for sharing your story. It sounds like you have learned a lot of valuable lessons through the years and they’ve thankfully lead you to a healthier lifestyle. Im so happy you found the way to proper nutrition and that it’s changed your health for good- reversing T2DM is NO JOKE!! I’m sending you a virtual hug because I can sense you’ve been thru a lot and have come out the other side throwing punches! Great job, friend. Keep going and God bless you ❤️
@Ketovore-RN You're welcome! Thank you, love! I appreciate your kind words. They mean a lot. They'll motivate me further. I felt your hug. So warm. I soaked it in. Your husband should be grateful. He has an amazing woman. I'm amazed myself. Surviving 5 years without a romantic partner. That's 2 weeks away tomorrow. It's not fake. It's real.
Hi from kentucky ! Your videos are so relatable and helpful. I'm just now binge watching your 28 day challenge. I had gotten a little lax on my carnivore journey ( 2 years in ) and I noticed the BLOAT as well. I'm going to get after this after Thanksgiving because I know I will be eating things off the diet that evening. I'll re-watch your videos to give me pep talks lol. Happy holidays! Also, I love that you show prayer before your meals and take your kids to church. We need more of that !
Hey neighbor! That sounds like a great plan! I’m so glad you’re enjoying my videos. I hope they motivate you thru your challenge 😊 have a great Thanksgiving
Great day 5 for you! Here as well. Burger patties and bacon. Although wanting more variety in the meats but oh well. Seeing the scale move from a stall I had. So that’s a plus. Day 6 let’s goooo!
Completed day 5. Loving this reset. Thank you for the lead! 1st meal was oxtail soup; 2nd meal was eggs and ground beef; 3rd meal was chicken wings! BTW, what's your rationale for starting with BBBE before gradually adding other carnivore foods back? Sorry if you already explained it in the first video. 😁
You had a 3 meal day too! I’m glad to hear your loving it. I’m loving the results but the constant temptations make it super tough! My rationale was that I had derailed so badly, I needed to restrict as much as possible. I’m NOT a moderator and any kind of leniency can quickly get out of hand for me. That said, 30 days of bbbe is too much for me right now.. hence the gradual addition of foods 😊

Yes, I am 😊
What about you? Any changes yet?

Woohoo! Thats great news! Nothing motivates like results. And that’s what I try to remember when I’m day dreaming of more variety 😅
