How I make my Illustrations.

After rewatching another Studio Ghibli Masterpiece ( Spirited Away ). I had this crazy idea of recreating it in a cyberpunk setting and this is what I came up with. Yo! using a vector-based software to create illustrations is pretty sicc. Clean lines and absolute control in the lighting are one of the pros, plus it's print-ready. Thanks for this I now have a new perspective on a different workflow. Solid illustration ⚡

Why do manga artists don't use illustrator for inking and tones? I don't get it . The brush is the same as other calligraphic software but the lines are so clean in illustrator. And the tones are can be sick if play in AI . Is it like more time consuming think?
