One of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time. Beautiful window into your life and what you enjoy. One of the biggest takeaways from this video is- regardless of its stature or where it comes from, art is still art. Keep doing what YOU love! I’ll enjoy watching from the sidelines. I’m excited to see where you go from here, Ken. Much love!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful words! I'm truly touched by your support and your perspective on art. It means a lot to me that you enjoyed the video and connected with the message. I'll definitely keep creating what I love, and I appreciate you being there to cheer me on from the sidelines. Much love right back at you!
As someone who was a huge mermollie fan back in the day, it was a real nostalgia trip seeing the old designs from sketch to finish. Spectular video broski.
cada dia te admir más, gracias por compartir todo tu poceso ! te amo y admiro, eres genial !!! /// Each day I admire you more, thank you for sharing your whole process! I love and admire you, you are amazing!!!
Seeing you go from style to style actually gave me a huge confidence boost and realize that style most of the time doesn’t really matter. The fundamentals matter more than anything. It was great seeing your line of work in all styles! Keep up the great work!
You do you brother forget those people who judge you on what you do do what you love doesn’t matter what style it’s still art people have different experience art is never ending journey to learn more as time pass till now 😊 I’m one of those people trying to learn more drawing art so you are your own person (by the way I love all your drawings) ❤
Idola jud uy 🔥🔥🔥 during my elementary days ako ra ginasundog ang mga cartoons from stickers ginaduwaan sa mga bata gani,, sadly wala kaau nko na practice akong arts😢 through your uploads sa fb nainspire ko mag edit sa Adobe Illustrator. Thank you kaau lods ikaw ako inspiration sa illustrator hehehe hoping for more tutorials puhon lods🙂🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for sharing your story! Absolutely love your drawing process videos and your arts! Your Chinese red pocket art video was the first one I encountered and I've watched it several times. I've been following your videos ever since. I learned a lot, and your videos always inspire and motivate me! 😆
Wow, you are amazing. Such a brilliant and capable mind. It's so evident in your compositions. Seeing your work inspires me to produce more! Thank you for sharing!
I myself am not an advocate of animé before cos that’s how older generations taught me. It did not meet anatomy standards and wasn’t considered art back then. But now it’s way past traditional comic book style or realistic drawings. When I decided to quit arts to start earning money elsewhere, something in me died and I felt it in my soul. Now at 33, unemployed, burnt out from doing jobs i hate, trying to get back into arts and hoping to find my own style as well. But most of the time, the pressure to be a success and earn big prompts me to become another chameleon. I’ll never get out of this hopeless stage. I somehow envy you that at a young age you already mastered arts in different forms and there’s someone guiding you in a way. Albeit the painful words said to you can’t be understated, I’d “kill” to go through your childhood instead. Anyways Thank you for this inspiration.
Sir! I started wearing mermollie shirts when I was around 12 or 13. I got so inspired with the designs that I was so determined to learn Illustrator! Fast forward 10 years, I know the software like the back of my hand and I'm able to work as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator. Grabe gyud kaayo imo impact sa ako childhood nga I always imagine those shirts whenever I try to think of happy memories. Mao gyud ga fuel sa ako dream to be an artist until now. I hope to meet you in person and say thank you!
It's truly an honor to have been part of your artistic ventures. Hearing how my designs inspired you to learn Illustrator and pursue a career as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator is incredibly rewarding. Your story motivates me to keep creating, knowing that I've made a positive impact. Thank you so much for sharing this. I hope we get the chance to meet in person someday so I can thank you for your support!
I was impressed right from the beginning, that in addition to the beautiful and powerful drawing you drew, you also used Ai. At first, I thought that for anime character style pictures, you would only use anime-specific software. Can you share why you use Illustrator?
Adobe Illustrator is indeed the industry standard. When I was working for a corporate company, most of our high-profile clients like Disney, Mattel, and Hasbro used Adobe Illustrator for their illustrations. Since it's vector-based, it doesn't pixelate, no matter how much you resize it. The images always stay sharp and crisp, making it perfect for their needs.
thank you so much...Love You, Bro,, and please make a more long details video..And there is a question pls answer any design is possible with Illustrator please pls answer.
I just hope I can make a living off my art 😭well I wanna be a tattoo artist but I also wanna make my own manga someday or help work on other manga but great vid keep it up🙏🏼
que bom que mesmo com as questões que enfrentou teve uma vida inteira vivendo do que gosta, para algumas pessoas é muito mais dificil apenas sobreviver
The only thing that should GROW, is your SKILLSET, not your STYLE of ART. Keep creating what you love!
My guy I’m a fellow artist your art is amazing 😩😩 I’m still finding it hard to just generate ideas and make it come together
