- Suki and Sally picked 5 effect pedals and determined the order they would be installed on the pedalboard. I had to make sense of it all and try to get a usable ambient guitar sound.

I'm still in my mid 20s and not near having a child yet, but if I ever do have daughters I hope I have a relationship with them cool enough to have them caring for the stuff I do as much as yours do with you. Congrats, you have set new standards for my future parent-kid relationships.

The board turned out to be a success but the real win is in how crazy charming this video is. A wonderful way to start the week.
As a teacher, I’ve taught hundreds of sisters. Kudos to you for letting them be who they are because it’s obvious that your girls are very different from one another but perfect together.
That was a brilliant approach, Bill. Kudos to the ladies for their choices. My takeaway: running a chorus before a pitch shifter is now a thing to do!

That pedalboard sound reminded me of all the crazy stuff Adrian Belew did back in the 80s. That pedal order was groovy.

Me and my daughter just built her a pedalboard and she loves it. She is five and starting to learn to play. Sharing this stuff with our kids is awesome.
The only thing better than playing with botique FX pedals is raising a family. I am blessed with two beautiful children of my own, there is nothing better than watching them grow and explore the world. All the best to you and your lovely family!
The first part has to be the sweetest and funniest thing I've seen this week. And I honestly can't blame them, I pick wine (and quite a few other things) based on if I like the label...
But also, I think this kind of "try something at semi-random" approach can be very interesting and also a way to get past a creative wall. I think we all get a bit too used to certain "go-to" options without trying what else can you do with the gear you have. This pedalboard is definitely a little weird, but the fun kind of weird and I'm pretty sure a song could come out of it.

@@chordsoforion I can appreciate that. I have three grown kids, all married, with 5 grandchildren, and they are all a constant source of joy. A couple of years ago I passed my 1978 Les Paul Standard on to my son, and it's a joy to watch him play it in church. He's a better shredder than I ever was.

They made unorthodoxed choices that led to some sweet out of the box tones. Now you know if you ever get in a tone funk, just get them to pick your pedals! I loved those sounds at the end.
