@@The-DAWG957 Maybe it's because nobody knows who murdered him... And that the murderer himself lives on another continent... That's why he investigated De La Serre's death, who is like a father to him. In a way he did actually care about his father's death, but not his real one's.

Extremely disappointing. However I don't think Germain dying later is a good idea, knowing that he would have had the Sword already...
