  • This is the perfect Southwestern Desert Hybrid of the Parkinsonia genus Palo Verde plants. Comes with NO THORNS, super chlorophyll packed green bark, beautiful yellow clusters of Spring and Summer flowers, and attracts a lot of pollinating bees. Drought tolerant, low maintenance, perfect for your xeriscape garden. This plant is a special hybrid of the Mexican Palo Verde/Jerusalem Thorn (Parkinsonia aculeata), Blue Palo Verde (Parkinsonia florida) and Yellow Palo Verde (Parkinsonia microphylla).

I have one in my yard. My main complaint is they tend to drop limbs (even when avoiding over-watering and doing everything else right). When they start to get large they need to be trimmed in order to avoid crossing branches and to keep the weight off branches that may be weaker.

sounds typical of hybrids and cultivars. side effects of messing with Mother Nature.

Can you tell me the name of the pink roses being grown near the north gate. I love those.

The North gate at RSM or the North Gate at Dove?
