Okay THIS. So i watched the first guys video of the plugging too!!! It worked but not when I put the pod in and then I shook mine! I could hear water but the water never came out. But I’ll be darned-it actually worked and I am enjoying a fresh hot cup a joe as I type. THANK YOU!!!

Great job thanks 🙂
Hey, thanks.
Thing to cover is growing it in a garden,…. and how the watering is done or not done through the year,… and how their appearance will be in each season,…. and how long they can be expected to live, while simultaneously not letting them go dry-shriveled dormant during the entirety of their life in the garden.
Thanks for the background. I shot some photos of the “Modern Restrooms” back in 2017 while on a cross-country road trip. Cool find.
Excellent info! Sending to friends.
Bendiciones
nice
Is that "mom" on the hot air balloon ride?! 🙂
Yep, that is the mom. Hope you are okay in the cold weather.
@@battlefoxx/ Way to go “Mom”! Yes, way too cold here in upper midwest… feel sorry for everyone and wildlife, too. Fun videos- thanks.
best Arizona Ash video that I could find on the internet.
hey, thanks. I think I mispronounced Fraxinus velutina....oh well.
I only now know this is growing all over my 10 acres in Mount Aukum Ca. I love this plant, as it does very well with no water at all from summer to late fall. The flowers open at first light, but close up in afternoon. Thanks!
these guys are great, just grow on their own, attract lots of pollinators.
The name right below Robert Carver is John Dingley, my 11th great grandfather. His house from 1643 is still standing in Marshfield. So much history in that area.
No kidding! I wish I had more time on my trip to explore Marshfield, maybe I can get back one day.
What I really want to see on YT is how unusual/ unknown plants are attracting pollinators. I'm a devoted pollinator gardener in central California and I'm always looking for anything that attracts lots of pollinating insects. Thanks!
butterfly bush is a good one, we have a lot of flowering succulents that the bees, little random bugs and hummingbirds enjoy.
I’m a descendant of John Carver and just setting out to find out more! Thank you!
hey, wonderful.
finally found where tfil filmed this.
Too bad it's all fenced off, would be fun to explore inside.
Yesterday, I pruned the side on a hundred foot long oleander hedge. By the middle of the day I was feeling funny and that evening I felt sick. We all should know that stuff is poisonous, sure but the sap got through my gloves and my coveralls. Today, the right side of my body feels numb and I still have no energy. Feeling really cold too. If you must prune a large amount of this plant, be smart and don't be like me. Get a chemical suit and rubber gloves. This illness is not fun!
oh my, I hope you get over it fast. A lot of times these are grown in public places that "invite" a lot of touching and contact, like family parks, lots of times outside of hotels along walkways. They are super easy to grow, so that's why I think businesses plant them. lucky for me none of these adverse plants I handle seem to hurt me. good luck.
People, this a nice town. Grew up in AV. I loved it there.
Do you know how to collect the seeds? I found some near my home but can’t figure it out.
you have to be super patient. wait for the flowers to dry up, then the seed pods to dry up and turn totally brown but you need to get to them BEFORE they split open (not too early, not too late). Then you need to put them in a baggie in the fridge, and don't plant until spring. success rate is really low, but worth a try.
if the are in public areas, usually the groundskeepers trim them back before the seeds get to mature.
Alcohol is poison to begin with!!!!! Alcohol is a sanatary tool or fuel. alcohol kills bacteria on contact, Your made of bacteria. Makes sense now?
Is that why I am hung over today?
Great video. I have heard that Ocotillo grow best in rocky soil with lots of calcite or lime. Often when Ocotillo is found growing on a hillside it suggests underground caverns. Have you heard of this?
I am not sure about the caverns, they tend to really just grow in our deserts where it has super good draining soil. If there is a cavern underneath, I guess that might suggest some extra dryness if any surface water penetrates deep enough to be lost in the cave. Lots of these out in Carlsbad and Kartchner caverns.
General store is closed down
Ahhh, sad. This is a great, cute, quiet town away from any hustle and bustle, with terrific weather and hiking.
And shows nothing of the mines or equipment
all private property. there are some mines outside of town towards Death Valley, but the roads aren't so good. super windy day, so filming wasn't very good either, but thanks for watching. oh, and the townsfolks don't like a lot of video guys walking around filming stuff.
Looks like a piece of velvet on legs. Spiders are great. People have to get over their ridiculous feat of them.
these guys were all over the place, especially walking through our campsite, about one every five minutes.

Get your kicks on route 66.
This truck stop went out of business not long after Consolidated freight ways.Consolidated closed the doors on Labor Day of 2002.I worked for CF ,used to stop there to fuel when forced on sleeper teams heading to of back from Mira Lona California.before the change of operations in the 90’s we ran from Oklahoma City Oklahoma to Tucumcari Newmexico.we used to stay in the closed down motel just east of the Shell truck stop.
@@randycrawford4192 wow thx, i did another video of the hotel, called the Paylee

All the money, resources and labor...just walked away from. There should be a law that land must be returned to wild, with all improvements removed.
Yep, but then we wouldn't be able to make "abandoned" videos.

Hello good morning I have a question for you. Can I make tea out of this sage Hotlips age?
Yes you can, just like almost all of the Salvia genus. Just the leaves (careful not to use the leaves next to the sidewalk where the dogs like to relieve themselves). :)
How did you get in here???? I am a plantation enthusiast. Please let me know
My family used to own the place before they sold it to Shell. So, I got a VIP welcome.
@battlefoxx do you think you can get me in there
Sorry, not a chance. Shell really tries to limit access and keep it only for their own employees and special events. However, you could try sending a nice letter to the Director or (if there is one) the outreach coordinator. I am too far removed to really get you a chance, so sorry.
@battlefoxx your ok!
I’m so mad right now…for the first time in maybe 15 years I craved a strawberry pop tart! i just got home and opened the box and screamed “WTF IS THIS”….they RUINED them…they don’t even taste the same either…I’d be better off with saltines and strawberry jam!

Probably the upper puncture pin is clogged and needs to be cleaned out with a toothpick or paperclip.
@@MT-or7lv nope, tried it with no success, lots of other people tried too without results. Probably good to clean out anyway, but does not always fix it, even though lots of other videos suggest this is the solution.
I grew up in Maricopa and I remember that restaurant. It had great peanut butter milkshakes. There was so racial issues between the people running it (I assumed owners but I was a kid) and the oil field workers for a little while.
There is always more to the story about these little diners along the roadside that end up abandoned. It looked like a very cute place.
