Behind the Scenes video:
• PROJECT 1976: Grand Op...
“1976” is a new fnaf fanseries I’ve been cooking up for a while now. This series is dedicated to the many amazing people in the fnaf community and their love for the game. I’m hoping that the future of this series will give you all a bit of fresh air with FNaF projects as well as inspiring fans too.
Thank you all so much for your support and patience for this. The 1976 Pilot might be one of the biggest projects of my life so far and seeing it in full completion just feels super uncanny. But it's here, after months and months of dedication and emotional rollercoasters. Enjoy the show, and make sure to give as much love to the crew as you can. They all did great, genuinely :)

The fnaf fandom is a force to be reckoned with
As a major fnaf fan I find this amazing 😂

The FNAF fandom and Warrior Cats fandom are horrifyingly powerful, they’re truly inspirational
Exactly 😤….. har har harhar har, har harhar har har har, har har harhar…. 🐻🎩 🦊🏴☠️ 🐰💙 🐤🍕
Yeah diaper furs and zoophiliacs the force that induces vomit. But always remember it's a minority that shines not a majority.
Art style is oddly giving Hanna Barbera & Japanese 70s animation. Im all for it!

I think my favorite thing about the series so far is how the animatronics truly look like those old Chuck E. Cheese animatronics in the late 70s especially With the robots performing on balcony’s on stage. That also makes sense especially since this series does take place in the 70s this series already looks very gorgeous and it makes me very excited for more in the future.
everything you just said
Yah. I don't like how most FNAF fan projects make the animatronics overly scary looking. It's very unrealistic.
@StarlaTheBat yessss
i would hate if someone were to put olives on top of my sandwhich
😈😈😈
Shit sorry man.. there may be an olive on ur sandwich
i have bad news
Reminds me of how every time I order a basic pizza from a place near me, they ALWAYS put an olive on it for some reason.
I mean you could just take the stick off so it's not that bad
One of the best pilots for an indie project I have EVER SEEN! The animatronics are so well drawn I mistook some of them for actual photographs! The soundtrack was on point, and the animation was good as well! Congratulations to all involved in the project, you all should be proud of what you've accomplished, and I hope to see more of 1976 in the future!
I TOTALLY AGREEE
YES! Well said
why does daniel hold his pencil like that tho 😭
s 'excited!
I need to like, sit down. Oh my god. The style- the way it’s such a homage to the style of the 70s era chuck e cheese with the portraits, even if it’s a full body- the looney tunes ending song, the haircuts being reminiscent of 70s, the grain and filters and noise distortions, and how well you made the art style of the people and the animatronics work together… I’m in awe.
The gosh dang adult-y humour and fourth wall humour reminding me of the chuck e cheese scripts from that era! AUGH!!!!!
this basically sums up everything I wanted to say… amazing pilot. It held my attention the entire time… wow
Everything here is just so... Genuine. From the tone of literally every single interviewee, to the banter between the animatronics that clearly give no sheets about the 4th wall despite it being their first day.
*looks at Mr schmidts appearence*, "close enough welcome back 1 of the 2 inventors of PONG"
Just like a certain walten and kranken we know
While a common misconception, neither Nolan Bushnell nor Ted Dabney, (the founders of Atari), were the “inventors” of Pong. That honor goes to Al Alcorn, Atari Employee No.3, who was assigned by Bushnell to create the game after Bushnell went and saw a demo of Ralph Baer’s Brown Box. (Which featured a Table Tennis game programmed by Bill Rusch.)
5:38 Not only is the Sandwhicheria amazing for it's characters... For those of us living in 2024 its amazing they can offer a cheeseburger for only $1.70... It really fits with the time period. Jackie and Co look so fluffy... I would probably talk to them too if I worked with them. Their adorability is going to catch me off guard man...
The peaking audio made it very hard to understand what anyone was saying but the animation was very much a love letter to those old animatronics for sure
there’s subtitles
Something about this art style is so nostalgic, which is just perfect for a series inspired by FNAF.
Yeah, you darn right, one of the main aspects of some fnaf games is the absolute otherworldly feeling of nostalgia mixed with an eeriness, the feeling of being in a dangerous environment, as yet familiar and somewhat cozy.
i love you too!
This is one of the best examples of what the concept of a Chuck E. Cheese style restaurant could be used for for art projects of any kind (mainly horror) as the animation and characters here are just stunning the animatronics specially they hit that right balance were they are off putting but you can’t tell why they just are even if nothing spooky or horrifying happened until the very end
I like how this doesn't start right away with "Oh there's a killer on the loose" and all of that shock value is saved for the end, while giving clues throughout the introduction tape. Makes it more of a mystery.
It feels like a documentary/found footage turned into animation to appeal to families/children
Shout-out to all my mutuals and friends that worl on this! You guys did amazing!
ok. this is the most criminally and insanely underrated video i’ve ever seen. if this doesn’t blow up ill eat a bowl. Each drawing looks so realistic and is put together so smooth and seamlessly. The voice acting, the sound design, I could go on, but i’d run out of space to comment. BEYOND OUTSTANDING WORK
This Pilot reeks UNDERRATED! This is right here, is perhaps the best FNAF based animated pilots since the Walten Files.
Keep up the Awesome work
Needs way more recognition!
THAT WAS SOO GOOD you can tell a lot of effort went into researching about animatronics especially with the reel to reel and cylinders
Definitely one of my favorite aspects!! It made it feel way more like Chuck E. Cheese inspired than another FNAF wannabe, I love that detail of world building
Can I just say how absolutely cinematic ave incredible that was. The animation, voice acting, and visuals were absolutely astonishing and actually has that mysterious feel of creating an interesting story. Can’t wait for what’s next the team did absolutely incredible.
18:12 oh my God this scene- where do I even begin? What do we even begin with every scene in this pilot? Everything builds upon itself. And it feels straight out of the 1970s with found footage and I adore how everything feels so cinematic while also being stylized. this pilot episode is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to see more of this morbid mystery unfold. But this last scene drops more questions than what I can put into words. What went wrong? What happened? Is Daniel okay? How did those kids go missing? What happened before that small time between the opening and being open for a year? Who is Sack? Why did Sack attack Daniel? I really wanna know!!!!
Prob missing kid named Zack
This is AWSOME, I love the style of how the animatronics looks like genuine old 60-70’s animatronics. And how they still look like cartoons and each one has a different personality, can’t wait to see more! X3
Bravo. When it was over I REALLY did not want it to be over. This series seems to be showing more human moments which I think is great. Following the stories of these people. Not to mention the animation quality which is superb. I seriously look forward to seeing more this is exciting!!
Edit: POST CREDITS WHAT? Alright then! Spooky
This will be one of the greatest analog horror I will ever watching
uh, this is not analog horror anymore.
@@heartlessguy77 its not?
i thought it was
So it going to be like a somewhat "normal story" with designs that feel like a analog horror
@@ghoull2010 yeah it's not like a found footage or lost media sort of thing it's just more of genuinely telling a straightforward animated story
hi billy from water flies
WOW! going into this i expected it would be one of those Walten Files VHS tapes but instead I got a heartwarming and comforting cartoon about a family diner trying to bring kids and family more together while also trying to make the restaurant more safer. I'm excited to see where this project will go and i cant for more.
i'm barely even into the video but i already know i'm gonna be showing this to my FNAF loving pals

I haven't even finished the episode yet but I'm amazed at how much thought, care, and love went into making this video!! I love the artstyle so much.

The movement of the robots is jarring, they're probably not meant to be unnerving during the TV show, but still... You're doing something right!
Its crazy to think how far you’ve come Rollins from our elementary days to a whole fuckin series dude! Congrats on everything and i genuniely cant wait to see more!🎉🎉
The use of Ricky Nelson's "Lonesome Town" in the intro perfectly set the mood for this style of animation, as well as some other oldies sprinkled in. Fantastic job on creating a spooky atmosphere and vintage/period-correct feeling of the video!
the animation is so cool??? I love the 80s anime style and even the animatronics movements are so smooth, simply amazing work guys
Ohhh this is so cool! Defenitely 100% worth the 2-3 years long wait 💗
Here's to all the VAs and BTS crew they did splendid with the mixes of animation and emotion/personality for the characters. I am intrigued to stick with this series and see where it goes from here! Well done Rollins, well done! 👏👏👏👏👏
have a sandwich, you deserve it 🥪
"heyyo, mah name is.. S A C C" I didn't know bro was chill like that
AMAZING!!!! This was genuinely one of the best if not THE BEST pilots I have seen on TH-cam. The writing, pacing, voice acting. The voice acting is amazing, it feels so real like real people are just having conversations with each other, just amazing. Also some interesting foreshadowing/things to note in the pilot if you look hard enough 👀👀
So excited to see what’s in store. Awesome work Rollins!!
This is so cool love the 70s cartoon vibes and the Hanna Barbara vibes too
IdK This looks a bit like FNAF a bit.
This is one of the most original fnaf inspired I've ever seen.
Keep on working on this!
this is SICK AS HELL!! the animation is super stylish, and the designs for the animatronics are amazing too! the sound design is also great, aside from the fact that the difference in audio quality that Daniel and the interviewer had took me a little out of the immersion, but that is a massive nitpick!! I love this pilot so much and i'm so excited to see more of this!!
I like the build, fun to see one of these that isn't spookmaxxing right out of the gate. Rough around the edges but I'll keep up with it.
this animation is insane, everything is so full of life and the movements of the animatronics are so realistic, its insane how this is 2d like goddamn
i also adore the sound design and the detail put into the "documentary", down to showing how the robots work, everything feels so realistic even though its all animated, this team absolutely cooked with this series
DUDE THIS IS INCREDIBLE the 70s grunge horror aesthetic mixed with the like 90s anime style humans is so unique i need this to continue
I grew up going to Chuck e Cheese and many of the little details match perfectly. The filter they use over the puppets reminds me of analog horror and i love it.
The first 13 minutes was fantastic. It was the analog horror-inspired, found footage-style pseudo-documentary but done in 2D animation that I was pondering about and looking for months. Absolutely amazing!
Is it okay if I screen this at the film festival my friends and I are organizing next year in NYC?
you really nailed the style of the 70s down to just about everything, I can't wait to see more of this if this goes anywhere
dude the way you manage to make the animatronics look and move so realistic tohow they usually do is amazing omg
I loved this, it's unique from most Fnaf inspired Media In a way that I feel nostalgia, similar to watching older cartoons like gargoyles or the older animated Batman toons, and the animation is great. The way it builds to the plot is great and introducing you to the characters in such a way is amazing, I don't think I've seen a full show with any Fnaf fan content or Regular Fnaf Content. Hope to see more, I Bless thee.
This is definitely one of the better analog horrors I've seen. The art style is fantastic, the story is intriguing and makes you want to learn more, and not to mention the designs for the characters are perfect. Overall this was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to see more of this amazing series! And huge kudos to everyone who worked on this! Truly excellent work! 🥕🐰
This was incredible. So excited to see the future of the series. I love the designs, animation and aesthetic; its all so well done. Also the ending -??? Very intrigued to learn about "Sack" 👀 Maybe we'll see an amimatronic used for good? (Judging how it didnt attack Daniel!)
fnafs fans art game is on a whole different level
Oh my god this is SO UNDERATED?! (When I heard Plano Texas I was freaking out lol I live very close there). Also this is beyond incredible, I’m hoping it will blow up
I'm REALLY seeing A LOT of potential with this, it has a lot of charm.
oh!! what a pleasant little pilot. it does seem to wear its inspirations on its sleeve, but id actually say that is its strength, as when the differences n parts of its own identity jump out, they really jump out, and in a good way! the old anime style makes it extremely charming n pleasant to watch, n the concept of the horror being in (im assuming) trying to create a security animatronic is so new and interesting!
also oh my god fury. i love this little freak (positive). sack itself also seems rather intriguing and unique, and also ive become quickly very partial to jonie, i adore how close she seems to her own work n id be excited to see her do more n how shed interact with sack... ahhh i do want more already!! great job!!
that after-credits scene was TERRIFIC, my gosh...
This actually put the biggest grin on my face, it reminds me of seeing Chuck E Cheese commercials before watching a movie on vhs, love it!
I can’t believe this isn’t viral yet! This is incredible, I feel like I’m on the ground floor of something spectacular
Oh boy where do I even begin with this?
This is indeed a great and amazing pilot that I've ever seen in a long time, especially to this whole series. The writing, pacing, voice acting, the atmosphere, and even the animation for this is absolutely fantastic and phenomenal at the same time. I even enjoy the cinematic vibes in this and the whole story of these people in the 1976 series; following the history of "Jackie and Friends' Sandwicheria", and the characters are great!
Anyways, massive props to you and to everyone that was involved in this whole project so far, with a lot of passion and life being made in the '1976' series, and I can't wait to see what you'll be cooking next for this series moving forward.
WE FUCKING WON
How this does not have any more recognition than it currently does is absolutely criminal. Just. Wow. This sits right up there with The Walten Files for me, and that says a LOT.
3:35 I was makin up a miracle flow over a cereal bowl and a paused beat from my stereo
Rhymes stronger than Popeye with spinach yeah I’m gangster like frogs on courageous cat or minute mouse
This is an absolutely amazing pilot, at first I thought it might've been analog horror but it was way better than I expected. It gave me feelings of something you'd might've seen during a PBS Kids transitioning into a new show or episode on broadcasting television.
Hope you go far with this project!
I am so into that animatronic animation, it's super fluid. The anime-ish style is also really unique and eye catching! I'll be following this project for sure

Everything about this is INSANELY WONDERFUL !!! The animatronics shows and the design reminds me of Pizza Time Theater or Showbiz, and The Animations are unbelievably fluent, and everyone is proud of you, 10/10.
HELLO??? THE ANIMATION?? HE ART?? THIS IS INCREDIBLE!! You deserve so much more recognition for this project!! This is insane!!
god the attention to detail in this is STUNNING, i can't imagine how long this must have taken to produce. cheers to the team
this reminds me so much of county bear jamboree with the curtain mechanic. 100% would go to the sandwicheria if i was a kid :) well pardoning the implied kidnapping/ murder that is.
MY BESTIE IS IN THIS OMFG THIS IS SO AWESOME AND COOL IM SO EXCITED !!!
Absolutely amazing!! The animation, voice acting, framing, story, effects, and just everything is absolutely mind blowing! Major props to everyone who worked on this!!! As soon as we were introduced to Fury, I couldn’t help but compare Fury's dynamic with Jackie to Rolfe and Earl's dynamic (Rock-afire Explosion). Probably not intentional but it was really cool to see!
Oh wow! I love this pilot, I hope to see an episode 2, hope the teams going well! 15:10 I love that angle btw!
0.5 photos be like:
I clicked this because it’s my moms birth year and now I’m EXTREMELY invested!! This is seriously so cool and well made 👏🥳
New thing to be obsessed with just dropped?
Voice direction with Daniel Schmidt arguably could be better but otherwise every other element was hit out of the park!
Very killer pilot!
I'd like to see a bit creepier side of it but was great, I loved how it stuck more realisticly to the 70's vibe
This is one of the best pilots I’ve ever seen congratulations
FNaF inspiration? Possible Shipwrecked 64 inspiration? Stop the car. The crackly audio, satisfying art style, unique yet familiar characters, the small-but-just-right-amount of mystery, Lonesome Town playing in the beginning… It was all great! I can’t wait to see where this goes!
The atmosphere between sections is heavy, almost like these events are unfolding one by one like memories. Great pacing too, I was very immersed. Kudos to everyone involved in this project!
WHEN JACKIE SAID FREAKAZOIDS I GASPED SO LOUD BECAUSE I'VE BEEN SAYING FREAKAZOIDS AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH
WE NEED MORE LORE NOW!!
WE NEED A FANGAME NOW!!!
obviously, not now, but im literally so excited for more!! the characters are so interesting (fury's my favorite!!) and im lookin forward to episode one. :D
I am so in love with everything! I love the art style, acting and direction! There was clearly just so much love and care put into it and it really shows! Amazing work to you and your team!
HELL YEAH
DUDE THIS IS AWESOME AND THE ANIMATION TOO-??
MY WALTEN FILES AND FNAF BRAIN IS SCREAMING ‼️‼️‼️
this series is so UNDERATED more people should watch this because the effort you put into this is insane
THIS WAS SO AWESOME MY GOSH AUGHHH. U AND THE REST OF THE CREW DID AN AMAZING JOB ROLLINSSS
Feedback from an old ass over here 😅 the animation was completely on point, I really felt like I was watching cartoons from my childhood right down to the "janky" audio and voice acting. Couple that with your spin on FNaF and sweets, you've got a banger here. I've been binge watching everything FNaF for weeks now, but this was exactly what was needed to truly give me a reminder of my childhood at Chucky Cheese and the cartoons I watched so long ago.
Great work!! 🎉 Keep at it, please ❤
THIS IS SO GENIUS. I love the combination of media you chose for this series and I will do whatever I can to wait for more of it.
This was such a fantastic pilot, y'all did amazing, especially with the art and animation. One thing I especially love is the character writing when it came to the footage of the animatronics' stage performances. Really good dialog, really makes the fact that people like these guys a whole lot more believable.
Words cannot explain how good this is!!! This felt like I was watching a tv episode from the 70s/80s!! Please keep making more and never give up this is GREAT!!!
Very impressive, you totally got that 70s tone down.
So the animatronics started as the standard wall/stage mounted ones and then got retrofitted into mobile ones due to a security incident. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one done before. 😮
Well you’ve got my attention, totally looking forward to whatever you’ve got planned next. 👍
darn, restaurants in the 70’s and 80’s never catch a break!
jokes aside, this is so cool!!! wonderful job to everyone! really really digging the mix of styles here ^_^
Absolutely in LOVE with the art style! You've all outdone yourselves with this one!
Man, i got say, as I'm seeing now, and from what i could see from your content, it's pretty likely that if you keep on with the project, it will become as big as the walten files, I've been around for long enough to know it.
I personally found this pilot through Zachbealetv and I’m glad I did its amazing
This is most creative thing I've ever seen involving Fnaf, I love the animation mixed with retro tv style and creative sandwich restaurant and also the lively and speaking animatronics this is gonna be a great series please make more
It’s been a LONG while since I’ve spent this long GRINNING EAR TO EAR !!!!
Absolutely loved this, the style is so unique AND THE WAY THE ANIMATRONICS ARE DRAWN IS *EVERYTHING!!!* Absolutely phenomenal!!
Great work to everyone involved, I’m eagerly awaiting your next installment!
woah, this is absolutely amazing!! the amounts of effort put into this is extremely impressive! i love itttt!! i''m really looking forward to this series!
If it had a Scoobydoo art style it would be a f* banger. I love the realistic '70s editing
This is amazing! As a huge fan of the Rockafire Explosion, I love the more realistic depiction of the animatronics, keep it up!!!
HOOORAAAAY (no idea what this is but I love it)
I LOVETHIIIIS I LOVE OVAS, AND THIS ONE LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE ONE, I LOVE THIS A LOT, GOOD JOB GUYSSSS
