19:36 I think in this part where you talk about Vanessa/Vanny being a fan of the Fazbear line, but began to sorta go off the rails from there, I have an idea for her backstory. Which, Vanessa may have grown up with strict parents, and just wasn't allowed to enjoy some of the older generations of the Fazbear entertainment. Until then, when she became an independent adult, she began to contract symptoms of schizophrenia (which can tie into your idea of her experiencing auditory hallucinations and delusions). But, being undiagnosed for so long (since I imagine this starting during her teens, making Vanessa ALSO believe she was just being a really weird kid by hearing voices in her head and having delusional habits over slasher/serial killer like characters, since in this AU, she idolizes that kind of behaviour) she probably wasn't aware that the longer she left it untreated, the worse it would get, but it is a thing that can happen when someone is considered mentally ill. And so as a coping mechanism, Vanessa began to start coping by investing herself in one of her most earliest childhood addictions; Fazbear entertainment. (since, like in popular shows/sitcoms, "Young Sheldon" and "The BigBang Theory", when you compare Sheldon to his childhood self, his mother took away his comic book collection, where the adult version of Sheldon can be seen having an almost exaggerated amount of various comic books, compared to when he was a kid.) Anyways, back to adult Vanny: After finally being able to go back to her obsession with the Fazbear entertainment line from when she was a kid, she could've been researching to learn more about it, before stumbling across the sensationalized article you talked about with William Afton. Then from there, I think the rest of what you explained would fit pretty well, and I just wanted to share some of the ideas I had while watching. :DD
Honestly the idea of the animatronics being “there but not there” is really sad when you think about how it changes Glamrock freddy and Gregory’s dynamic. The most harrowing thing could happen and Gregory would try to hug Freddy and receive comfort, but all Freddy can is say the same canned lines.

It like, makes sense for her to be a copycat killer. Hurt people, when dealing with untreated mental illness, can hurt people and I feel like the copycat storyline reflects the world pretty accurately, so I don’t understand the “she can’t be a copycat bc she was abused!!” idea. Victims of anything aren’t going to be perfect saints, or grow into being perfect people. Plus, wouldn’t she technically already be a copycat?? Afton is manipulating her to pretty much do what he did, making her COPY him… so stupid😭 The idea of her collecting fnaf memorabilia and obsessing over it, joining forums, reminds me of the tcc honestly. I personally like it way more than the original storyline. though I have HATED SB since it came out and think it destroys the already honestly stupid storyline of fnaf)

A lot for ppl who are abused will end up repeating said abuse as a horrible coping mechanisms, so yeah I can definitely see this happening. (Note: not EVERYONE will copy their abusers, only a few)
Vanny does indeed look like a carpet sample if that’s what you mean. The Mimic being an actual child makes it much more creepier and unnerving compared to other animatronics
The mimic actually can shrink and grow, like those light saber toys, as to fit inside various costumes so it being child sized not only is possible, but it would also mean if it did extend it would tear up the child costume, which would be horrifying.
Honestly I like the kid idea. Not only is this really original, but just imagine being in one of those tube attractions and hearing that things uncanny giggles as it crawls after you. Bruh I've always feared the idea of being trapped in one of those things in the dark with a ghost, or something like chucky.
Just imagine you are running away from it as it looms out of the shadows and it tries to grab you to stop you from getting out so it extends its body and rips the child costume to mangled shreds of "flesh" that hang off of it as it reaches for you.
actually the changes between sun and moon's outfits can be explained using tech we have now. the plastic may have been made with a material that changes color based on light

I think fnaftwt is just so used to like oversaturated uncanny valley that when things that are less saturated but still uncanny they still categorize it the same because alot of fnaftwt hate vintage versions of the characters. I personally love vintage animatronics and love that they have a lovable yet uncanny feeling to them. Love the designs and can't wait to possibly draw them!

my one problem when trying to rework security breach myself is that i LOVE copycat killer vanny and i genuinely wish the game had gone with that, but gregory vanessa and freddy's little shared trauma found family bonding over being possessed is one of my absolute favorite things in the entire series, and removing that aspect would make me very very sad 😭 (that isn't to say i have issue with your redesign at all though lol i completely LOVE the idea. you just know vanny smells like mildew and rot

I honestly think Vanni was going to be used more and not just because she was like a big highlight of the merch but because she was really like a big threat and the trailers and Scott did an interview and he said they had some miscommunications and I wonder if she was one of them

If you make another one of these you should redesign Cassie and Gregory as the teenagers who snuck into the park. Maybe also have it where Cassie is the main one who physically try to fight animatronics while Gregory sets up traps.

The lady who voiced Gregory for some reason decided to talk from the back of her throat, resulting in a weird voice that sounds like an older teen mocking a whiny child.

I think that the idea to have sun and moon almost like 2 sides of a coin is really freaking fun dude! One thing that I personally think would be really fun/mildly creepy is if when one is out, they try to face everyone with that side alone and not let the other side show for “immersion.” Kinda like that one cryptid guy from Gravity Falls who is only ever viewed from the left. I imagine sun just crab walking across the stage and doing his entire show without ever turning around, just kinda scuttling around the room.
ooh kind of like how when you first encounter sun in-game (the part where he's picking you up and trying to keep you in one area) he's constantly facing the player and will crab walk around them if they try to look away haha

Or that Sun would be stationary on a rotating stage and when the lights went off, the stage would rotate and moon would be on the other side. Like the NEW rockafire stage

I am convinced people exclusively hate copycat killer Vanny just because it’s popular. There’s this weird thing on the internet (and ESPECIALLY twitter) where if something gets popular or praised enough almost everyone immediately turns their back on it and complains how much it sucks, actually. It’s happened with every single mildly popular game that’s released in the past decade it’s so annoying.
Wanted to explain why I personally dislike the idea of a copy cat killer vanny, more specifically the one obsessed with William and is a big William murderer fan It’s how it.. comes off both 1, feeling like it’s just bringing William back only through a different facade? Like sure it’s a different person and design but it’s the same intention and it kinda annoys me because I feel it could and should be more than that. But also I feel the copy cat killer thing can sometimes come off a bit insensitive in my eyes because of the whole slenderman stabbing situation that occurred Not saying this concept shouldn’t be done but it just comes off weird to me, especially with the fact how a lot of the interpretations are shown are fantasized in some sense, like the one fnaf sb gore video Now it’s not to say “it shouldn’t ever be done” But more of something I’m iffy about when seeing fan interpretations go that route. It really depends on execution, but I don’t think her being a copycats objectively better as much as I agree that steel wool fumbled the bag on Vanessa and vanny.

7:50 I personally really like this style of animatronic. It's the whole reason why your video drew me in. I'm so used to the chunky smooth look of FNAF animatronics. Seeing these animatronics with droopy rubber faces and raggedy designs I love! I also like the vhs fuzzy overlay to them. I didn't know it was supposedly a common or disliked thing, I think it's a breath of fresh air for me (or dank musty air given the state of the interiors on those suits)
The Rockafire Explosion is actually my special interest and I love hearing people talk about it because it’s not mentioned super duper often. I really love the detail at 18:47 with Bonnie’s silhouette still being visible behind Monty! It’s a nice touch, and definitely fits with Fazbear’s “Get the job done half-right” brand.
I really love the idea that Vanny is a collector/hobbyistI' ive watched several anamatronic collectors and its so niche yet so fascinating and oddly nostalgic despite me not even being from that era. Old animatronics being restored or still being in use has some good potential especially in the context of FNAF.
According to the Interview between Scott Cawthon and Lewis "Dawko" Dawkins, Vanny was originally supposed to be a more promminent threat, but due to terrible communication between Scott and Steel wool, that didn't really end up happening. The terrible communication in question consisted of Scott being very hands off during the production of the game, and only telling steel wool where to place certain setpieces or features without telling the team why those features were there, and what they were for. With covid quarantine on top of all this. Because of this, many elements landed where they weren't supposed to or got outright smothered out, like vanny. For example, Scott mentioned that burntrap was infact not supposed to be a final secret boss. He was instead supposed to be nothing more than a lifeless prop, peering at you from the background as just a mere symbol of Fazbear entertainment's shady past that they try so hard to cover up. Because of the whole mess the base game of SB has caused, the Tales from the Pizzaplex books as well as the RUIN DLC had to serve as a form of damage control for the series moving forward.
I genuinely think this is one of the better reworks of FNAF I've come across. Making it very grounded in reality but still keeping the themes of the supernatural, advanced robotics, tragedy and horror that come with the franchise. This plus your previous video are genuinely great ideas and designs, making Security Breach into something stripped back and interesting but still keeping the spirit of what makes FNAF tick. I especially love your take on Vanny and the Mimic such great story ideas! Don't listen to Twitter, keep it up!

18:40 I severely doubt this is intentional, since I'm one of the only ones who cares, but Easter Bonnie is a real character that exists in FNAF AR. It even has the same white pink and blue color pallette and the same red eyes. Also, Easter Bonnie's only unique feature that keeps him from being a recolor is his left ear, which has an Easter tag on it, and that ear is one that isn't used. AND, the AR animatronics are implied to exist at the time as Security Breach. The continuity works out in every way imaginable, completely by accident. Great job.

I like Vanny's design, but I almost wish that the hand holding the knife was the one from Afton's suit as if he is literally guiding the knife she uses to kill. I think it would be a neat detail. Nice video!

If this were made into a game, i would love to see cutscenes where vanny is being harassed by the animatronics as she's wandering the park. They'd talk with her like park staff and give hints to the player on how to go through the park. Maybe even each night one friendly animatronic with vanny roaming the park and the rest roaming a specific area.
The idea of the mimic, trapped in a fake building, banging on fake windows, mimicing its own desperate actions, slowly devolving overtime into a jittery monstrous little shart is so cool that that alone should have its own game. Also the image of a contorted crumpled up mimic controlling an animatronic from inside like a stuffed Afton victim is also so cool i cant get it out from my mind.
I’ve actually cosplayed Moon twice and made a Sun cosplay for my friend. I love designing them and seeing other takes on them. My most recent Moon cosplay took inspiration from Victorian jesters with pleated pumpkin pants, a corset belt to “segment” the torso, and some “sun ray” collar and hip pieces (in that they’re shaped like triangles with the back two “rays” on each piece being longer like dovetails with bells). Half white half black puff t-shirt and matching leggings. Finish it off with so many bows and hand embroidered stars. I just love how everyone for cosplay and fanart took their designs and ran, more than any other character in the franchise.
As a certified security breach fan (I haven't even played it, but I just watch playthoughs of everything 😭) I love your au smmm! I want more GIMME MORE
If you have 40 dollars on you and your PC can handle it, get the Steam version of security breach. Thats the only version that you can modify If you don’t have a PC, then I’d say the definitive version of Security Breach are the PlayStation versions. It’s also on Switch and Xbox I would recommend getting the game when it’s on sale too, I’m sorry but the game is *not* worth the 40 dollar price tag

I'd love to see a Sister Location redesign! In the first redesigning fnaf video you mentioned how Ballora and Circus Baby could look more humanoid. I feel like with your art style it'd be extremely uncanny. Love your art and hope you make it even farther in your career!
I think it would of been wholesome yet terrifying that Vanny adopts the mimic but basically has it mimic her killing spree which makes it a more violent machine but other than that, it’s just my opinion. Also I love your redesigns so much, they look spectacular!

I really enjoy this setting and the designs. The more grounded aesthetic feels very fitting for a maybe more mature, less colorfull, retelling of the story. I don't have much attachment to FNAF, so I don't mind saying: I prefer this concept.

i'm not a twitter person, but i'm really surprised that copycat killer vanny is unpopular??? i thought it was the most engaging / grounded way to take the series, in my personal opinion. since so many people have a problem with the sci-fi "robot taking over your mind" plotline, I thought the idea of an obsessive fan of a murderer would be a more horrifying way to take the series. this person isn't haunted or being mind controlled, this is a person making the active choice to carry out horrible actions. i do like your storyline a lot. she's obsessive about the history of fazbear's to begin with!! so much so she invites evil into her home and accepts it into her life, to actively become a killer like "the voice" is telling her to be. i think its neat!!! also I was never super impressed by the mimic's canon design. the endo skeleton weeping angel thing in the base game made me feel like it's appearance wasn't as hard hitting as it could have been. it looks like a different version of the easy to understand enemies in the main game. i really love the fact you went for a HUMAN animatronic for the mimic. it makes it feel genuinely uncanny and uncomfortable. its chase scene was only exciting for me after it put on a costume, so imagining something that pretends to be human but is so clearly wrong really makes me nervous!

Man I adore seeing redesigns and hearing what was the lead up for that. Sun and Moon look so adorable and I can most def see them as little clown plushies hidden away in someone attic. IDK how some people don't like the odd old design, but to each there own. Aye, sweet! It's part 2! Aww, your 3D model is adorable!! It's so neat! Yeah, the folks on Twitter are... well, twits, most of the time. But I do like your changes to Freddy! The eyebrows already give him quite the different vibe! I honestly don't get the intense hate for designs like this, or at the very least why people are saying it's cringe, but I can get why they prefer the OG style. Personally, realistic animatronics are my kinda thing, I was never too fond of the segmented body parts that even the classic FNaF 1 animatronics had (and the less I talk about the Funtimes with their pseudo-muscle wire endos and their moving face plates, the better). Sun looks absolutely haunting, and so does Moon! The idea of both outfits being on both sides of the same animatronic plays well with the idea of them being usually restricted to the stage, where they'd only be seen from the front. You may think it's a janky gimmick that would fit the era, I think it's a really clever idea made with the limitations of the tech in mind, which really brings out the vibe of Chuck E. Cheese and Showbiz Pizza. I really like it! Imagine his head spinning around while in the dark, the Sun's face asleep while the Moon ever so alert, with his eyes always on the watch. Very cool stuff. I'm of the group of people that thinks Vanny was indeed meant to have been the main antagonist... as per Scott's original story. From his interview with Dawko, the story we got in the final game was vastly different from the story Scott initially wrote, and that's because... he didn't tell that story to Steel Wool. Instead, he gave them "pieces" of his story for them to include, loose ideas, cus he wanted to be secretive with the story as he's always been until the bitter end, and he assumed that eventually, Steel Wool would piece together the pieces and build up the story he envisioned. Of course, this is a demented idea, so of course, that's not what happened, meaning that there's a version of Security Breach was probably gonna be more in line with the first few trailers and is now pretty much lost media, or vaporware. To give the only example we got, Burntrap (who was probably supposed to have gotten a different name btw) wasn't gonna be the final antagonist, or heck, even a threat at all. He was gonna be a movie prop that never moves, but will sometimes appear on the ground or leaning against the wall when you least expect it, appearing and disappearing when you're not looking. Of course that means nothing when it comes to Vanny's actual implementation in the game, cus even with what Steel Wolf had planned, most of it was still cut anyways. A bit of lore btw: Glitchtrap, to my understanding, isn't Afton's conscience made into digital format. It's the Mimic program from the books, who was designed to replicate everything it sees. The idea is that, since its code was used to speed up the development of the VR game by mimicking the programming of the animatronics in the in-universe FNaF indie games... that resulted in the Mimic program becoming hell bent on replicating the events of that game series in real life, becoming a virtual personification of "The Yellow Rabbit" in the process, and transcending the game by possessing Vanny to escape to reality. It's a bit complex, but it explains a lot. At the end of the day, I've been preferring to come up with my own stories and ideas for alternate takes on this franchise's multiple stories, games and eras. It's honestly a bit more fun :) "copycat killer vanny still has fans??? are you? stupid?" You sure these turds aren't coming from the single same person? But yeah, I really like your take on Vanny, and her design looks absolutely demented! The idea of a copycat killer is already pretty cool, but the added paranormal forces from the haunted Yellow Rabbit animatronic is the cherry on top for me! And the incorporation of Bonnie's costume and even a glove from Spring Bonnie's costume is pretty brilliant, unifying all the rabbits of the series into one! The idea of her believing the idea of Afton never having been a killer, always staying in denial of the murders in favor of her love for the Freddy franchise, is honestly really neat too. Big fan of your ideas here! Hell yeah, Withered time! The way you deformed their faces, melting their cheap rubber masks and having their eyes locked in place, really does it for me. Kinda reminds me of a game from a now rather infamous FNaF fangame dev (Ramenov I think), Eddie and the Misfits! OH WOW THE MIMIC! Huh, didn't see that one coming! Your idea for the Mimic is honestly a pretty curious one, I like it quite a bit! Man, Fazbear Ent. is really good at covering up problems instead of solving them, huh? Oh, if you want an idea for a name, Tony is my suggestion :)
I just can't get over the fact Scott had a story but didn't tell Steel Wool what he wanted the story to be That's like having a student write an essay about a topic they learned last week, they _can_ do it but it'll not have everything it probably should in it

19:36 I think in this part where you talk about Vanessa/Vanny being a fan of the Fazbear line, but began to sorta go off the rails from there, I have an idea for her backstory. Which, Vanessa may have grown up with strict parents, and just wasn't allowed to enjoy some of the older generations of the Fazbear entertainment. Until then, when she became an independent adult, she began to contract symptoms of schizophrenia (which can tie into your idea of her experiencing auditory hallucinations and delusions). But, being undiagnosed for so long (since I imagine this starting during her teens, making Vanessa ALSO believe she was just being a really weird kid by hearing voices in her head and having delusional habits over slasher/serial killer like characters, since in this AU, she idolizes that kind of behaviour) she probably wasn't aware that the longer she left it untreated, the worse it would get, but it is a thing that can happen when someone is considered mentally ill. And so as a coping mechanism, Vanessa began to start coping by investing herself in one of her most earliest childhood addictions; Fazbear entertainment. (since, like in popular shows/sitcoms, "Young Sheldon" and "The BigBang Theory", when you compare Sheldon to his childhood self, his mother took away his comic book collection, where the adult version of Sheldon can be seen having an almost exaggerated amount of various comic books, compared to when he was a kid.)
Anyways, back to adult Vanny:
After finally being able to go back to her obsession with the Fazbear entertainment line from when she was a kid, she could've been researching to learn more about it, before stumbling across the sensationalized article you talked about with William Afton. Then from there, I think the rest of what you explained would fit pretty well, and I just wanted to share some of the ideas I had while watching. :DD

people say copycat killer vanny can't work because she was an abuse victim but i feel like her having trauma helps it more for this charcterization. her having trauma makes her more vulnerable to be manipulated and controlled.
It like, makes sense for her to be a copycat killer. Hurt people, when dealing with untreated mental illness, can hurt people and I feel like the copycat storyline reflects the world pretty accurately, so I don’t understand the “she can’t be a copycat bc she was abused!!” idea. Vanny does indeed look like a carpet sample if that’s what you mean. The Mimic being an actual child makes it much more creepier and unnerving compared to other animatronics

The mimic actually can shrink and grow, like those light saber toys, as to fit inside various costumes so it being child sized not only is possible, but it would also mean if it did extend it would tear up the child costume, which would be horrifying.
Honestly I like the kid idea. Not only is this really original, but just imagine being in one of those tube attractions and hearing that things uncanny giggles as it crawls after you. Bruh I've always feared the idea of being trapped in one of those things in the dark with a ghost, or something like chucky.

I think fnaftwt is just so used to like oversaturated uncanny valley that when things that are less saturated but still uncanny they still categorize it the same because alot of fnaftwt hate vintage versions of the characters. I personally love vintage animatronics and love that they have a lovable yet uncanny feeling to them. Love the designs and can't wait to possibly draw them!

my one problem when trying to rework security breach myself is that i LOVE copycat killer vanny and i genuinely wish the game had gone with that, but gregory vanessa and freddy's little shared trauma found family bonding over being possessed is one of my absolute favorite things in the entire series, and removing that aspect would make me very very sad 😭
(that isn't to say i have issue with your redesign at all though lol i completely LOVE the idea. you just know vanny smells like mildew and rot

I honestly think Vanni was going to be used more and not just because she was like a big highlight of the merch but because she was really like a big threat and the trailers and Scott did an interview and he said they had some miscommunications and I wonder if she was one of them

Before you meet them, you were told it was two animatronics, so while you deal with Sun, you're constantly looking over your shoulder and trying to spot Moon, until the reveal and probably a big tantrum from them.
Maybe the mimic should be called ‘Hide N Seek David’ because in the original story, the mimic was created to entertain a child called David.

The lady who voiced Gregory for some reason decided to talk from the back of her throat, resulting in a weird voice that sounds like an older teen mocking a whiny child.

The idea of The Mimic being designed after a human boy is genuinely so clever! I feel like a good name can be Gregory (in the case you make ur own custom MC) OR take the “I will put you back together line” after the crying child’s death seriously and name the mimic Evan/Chris. I love ur concepts so much!!!

I think that the idea to have sun and moon almost like 2 sides of a coin is really freaking fun dude! One thing that I personally think would be really fun/mildly creepy is if when one is out, they try to face everyone with that side alone and not let the other side show for “immersion.” Kinda like that one cryptid guy from Gravity Falls who is only ever viewed from the left. I imagine sun just crab walking across the stage and doing his entire show without ever turning around, just kinda scuttling around the room.
ooh kind of like how when you first encounter sun in-game (the part where he's picking you up and trying to keep you in one area) he's constantly facing the player and will crab walk around them if they try to look away haha

Somehing i thought would work for Sun and Moon’s gimmick would be that it would be Sun with a Moon puppet like Ralfe and Earle from Showbiz or Funtime Freddy and Bonbon. Or that Sun would be stationary on a rotating stage and when the lights went off, the stage would rotate and moon would be on the other side. Like the NEW rockafire stage

7:50 I personally really like this style of animatronic. It's the whole reason why your video drew me in. I'm so used to the chunky smooth look of FNAF animatronics. Seeing these animatronics with droopy rubber faces and raggedy designs I love! I also like the vhs fuzzy overlay to them. I didn't know it was supposedly a common or disliked thing, I think it's a breath of fresh air for me (or dank musty air given the state of the interiors on those suits)
The Rockafire Explosion is actually my special interest and I love hearing people talk about it because it’s not mentioned super duper often. I really love the idea that Vanny is a collector/hobbyistI' ive watched several anamatronic collectors and its so niche yet so fascinating and oddly nostalgic despite me not even being from that era. Old animatronics being restored or still being in use has some good potential especially in the context of FNAF.
According to the Interview between Scott Cawthon and Lewis "Dawko" Dawkins, Vanny was originally supposed to be a more promminent threat, but due to terrible communication between Scott and Steel wool, that didn't really end up happening.
The terrible communication in question consisted of Scott being very hands off during the production of the game, and only telling steel wool where to place certain setpieces or features without telling the team why those features were there, and what they were for. With covid quarantine on top of all this.
Because of this, many elements landed where they weren't supposed to or got outright smothered out, like vanny.
For example, Scott mentioned that burntrap was infact not supposed to be a final secret boss.
He was instead supposed to be nothing more than a lifeless prop, peering at you from the background as just a mere symbol of Fazbear entertainment's shady past that they try so hard to cover up.
Because of the whole mess the base game of SB has caused, the Tales from the Pizzaplex books as well as the RUIN DLC had to serve as a form of damage control for the series moving forward.
I genuinely think this is one of the better reworks of FNAF I've come across. Making it very grounded in reality but still keeping the themes of the supernatural, advanced robotics, tragedy and horror that come with the franchise. This plus your previous video are genuinely great ideas and designs, making Security Breach into something stripped back and interesting but still keeping the spirit of what makes FNAF tick. I especially love your take on Vanny and the Mimic such great story ideas! Don't listen to Twitter, keep it up!

18:40 I severely doubt this is intentional, since I'm one of the only ones who cares, but Easter Bonnie is a real character that exists in FNAF AR. It even has the same white pink and blue color pallette and the same red eyes. Also, Easter Bonnie's only unique feature that keeps him from being a recolor is his left ear, which has an Easter tag on it, and that ear is one that isn't used. AND, the AR animatronics are implied to exist at the time as Security Breach. The continuity works out in every way imaginable, completely by accident. Great job.

If this were made into a game, i would love to see cutscenes where vanny is being harassed by the animatronics as she's wandering the park. They'd talk with her like park staff and give hints to the player on how to go through the park.
Maybe even each night one friendly animatronic with vanny roaming the park and the rest roaming a specific area.
The idea of the mimic, trapped in a fake building, banging on fake windows, mimicing its own desperate actions, slowly devolving overtime into a jittery monstrous little shart is so cool that that alone should have its own game.
Also the image of a contorted crumpled up mimic controlling an animatronic from inside like a stuffed Afton victim is also so cool i cant get it out from my mind.
I’ve actually cosplayed Moon twice and made a Sun cosplay for my friend. I love designing them and seeing other takes on them.
My most recent Moon cosplay took inspiration from Victorian jesters with pleated pumpkin pants, a corset belt to “segment” the torso, and some “sun ray” collar and hip pieces (in that they’re shaped like triangles with the back two “rays” on each piece being longer like dovetails with bells). Half white half black puff t-shirt and matching leggings. Finish it off with so many bows and hand embroidered stars.
I just love how everyone for cosplay and fanart took their designs and ran, more than any other character in the franchise.

If you don’t have a PC, then I’d say the definitive version of Security Breach are the PlayStation versions. It’s also on Switch and Xbox

I think it would of been wholesome yet terrifying that Vanny adopts the mimic but basically has it mimic her killing spree which makes it a more violent machine but other than that, it’s just my opinion. Also I love your redesigns so much, they look spectacular!

I really enjoy this setting and the designs. The more grounded aesthetic feels very fitting for a maybe more mature, less colorfull, retelling of the story. I don't have much attachment to FNAF, so I don't mind saying: I prefer this concept.

i'm not a twitter person, but i'm really surprised that copycat killer vanny is unpopular??? i thought it was the most engaging / grounded way to take the series, in my personal opinion. since so many people have a problem with the sci-fi "robot taking over your mind" plotline, I thought the idea of an obsessive fan of a murderer would be a more horrifying way to take the series. this person isn't haunted or being mind controlled, this is a person making the active choice to carry out horrible actions. i do like your storyline a lot. she's obsessive about the history of fazbear's to begin with!! so much so she invites evil into her home and accepts it into her life, to actively become a killer like "the voice" is telling her to be. i think its neat!!!
also I was never super impressed by the mimic's canon design. the endo skeleton weeping angel thing in the base game made me feel like it's appearance wasn't as hard hitting as it could have been. it looks like a different version of the easy to understand enemies in the main game. i really love the fact you went for a HUMAN animatronic for the mimic. it makes it feel genuinely uncanny and uncomfortable. its chase scene was only exciting for me after it put on a costume, so imagining something that pretends to be human but is so clearly wrong really makes me nervous!

Yeah, the folks on Twitter are... well, twits, most of the time. But I do like your changes to Freddy! The eyebrows already give him quite the different vibe!
I honestly don't get the intense hate for designs like this, or at the very least why people are saying it's cringe, but I can get why they prefer the OG style. Personally, realistic animatronics are my kinda thing, I was never too fond of the segmented body parts that even the classic FNaF 1 animatronics had (and the less I talk about the Funtimes with their pseudo-muscle wire endos and their moving face plates, the better).
Sun looks absolutely haunting, and so does Moon! The idea of both outfits being on both sides of the same animatronic plays well with the idea of them being usually restricted to the stage, where they'd only be seen from the front. You may think it's a janky gimmick that would fit the era, I think it's a really clever idea made with the limitations of the tech in mind, which really brings out the vibe of Chuck E. Cheese and Showbiz Pizza. I really like it! Imagine his head spinning around while in the dark, the Sun's face asleep while the Moon ever so alert, with his eyes always on the watch. Very cool stuff.
I'm of the group of people that thinks Vanny was indeed meant to have been the main antagonist... as per Scott's original story. From his interview with Dawko, the story we got in the final game was vastly different from the story Scott initially wrote, and that's because... he didn't tell that story to Steel Wool. Instead, he gave them "pieces" of his story for them to include, loose ideas, cus he wanted to be secretive with the story as he's always been until the bitter end, and he assumed that eventually, Steel Wool would piece together the pieces and build up the story he envisioned.
Of course, this is a demented idea, so of course, that's not what happened, meaning that there's a version of Security Breach was probably gonna be more in line with the first few trailers and is now pretty much lost media, or vaporware.
To give the only example we got, Burntrap (who was probably supposed to have gotten a different name btw) wasn't gonna be the final antagonist, or heck, even a threat at all. He was gonna be a movie prop that never moves, but will sometimes appear on the ground or leaning against the wall when you least expect it, appearing and disappearing when you're not looking.
Of course that means nothing when it comes to Vanny's actual implementation in the game, cus even with what Steel Wolf had planned, most of it was still cut anyways.
A bit of lore btw: Glitchtrap, to my understanding, isn't Afton's conscience made into digital format. It's the Mimic program from the books, who was designed to replicate everything it sees. The idea is that, since its code was used to speed up the development of the VR game by mimicking the programming of the animatronics in the in-universe FNaF indie games... that resulted in the Mimic program becoming hell bent on replicating the events of that game series in real life, becoming a virtual personification of "The Yellow Rabbit" in the process, and transcending the game by possessing Vanny to escape to reality. It's a bit complex, but it explains a lot.
At the end of the day, I've been preferring to come up with my own stories and ideas for alternate takes on this franchise's multiple stories, games and eras. It's honestly a bit more fun :)

The idea of a copycat killer is already pretty cool, but the added paranormal forces from the haunted Yellow Rabbit animatronic is the cherry on top for me! And the incorporation of Bonnie's costume and even a glove from Spring Bonnie's costume is pretty brilliant, unifying all the rabbits of the series into one! The idea of her believing the idea of Afton never having been a killer, always staying in denial of the murders in favor of her love for the Freddy franchise, is honestly really neat too. Big fan of your ideas here!
Hell yeah, Withered time! The way you deformed their faces, melting their cheap rubber masks and having their eyes locked in place, really does it for me. Kinda reminds me of a game from a now rather infamous FNaF fangame dev (Ramenov I think), Eddie and the Misfits!
