Unlike some other churches that play odd pm chimes at 12 noon, this one chimes 12 times once the clock strikes 12 noon!! Such beautiful chimes like these ones echo around town.
I seen footage of maas rowe systems and they use amplified chime rods that go in a clock and they sound like the system in this video. Pretty cool system
@@thatelevatorpersonfilms Yes they are, and I love the later ones! I worked on one that was made in the 1950's and I think it was before they amalgamated with Rowe, it was a Maas cathedral chimes and it turned out ok in the end but to be honest I wasn't impressed with the way it was engineered! The chiming tubes on that one were door bell chimes rather than the sort of chimes one expects to find at a cathedral! In fact there are a couple of videos on here where people have set them up in the house and they are a good size for that. All the same it was an interesting project. I love the Maas Rowe chimes in Balboa park, totally different class! Thank you for sharing your video :)
By the way: Thanks for 300 subs! =)

Yes. Very high quality system.
@@thatelevatorpersonfilms They used to be terrible things! I reckon they improved greatly when they amalgamated with Rowe.
@@markanthony7184 Yes! Now, they are world famous!

@@markanthony7184 Thank YOU!
So apparently the chime rods connect to the speaker?😊
0:09 chimes
how loud was it?
Very loud.
So loud. This is over 120 dB++
damn and wow.
Why not a real bell. Had to use pa horns instead. -_-
It does use real bells they are just amplified by the speakers
@@soulsweeper1630 Meaning big bells. Not little ones through speakers. Make it seem more historic so people could see a bell.
@@mcxcdx it is called digital carillon with speakers
that is cool right
They look like atlas horns
Wait they are atlas horn speakers
@@josephfrye7342I think so
@@bluebirdt3fe17 yeah but they are white color so there you go.
