ChocolateMilkSheaff Yeah man it’s not like the Air Force has to learn how to operate million to billion dollar machines and planes while also executing the mission while doing all types of math and science things.
Santos As compared to the Navy who operates the 11 most advanced aircraft carriers in the world, ballistic missile submarines, launching and landing aircraft onto a moving ship in pitch black, one of the most advanced cyber security networks, and ships with enough firepower to level a small country overnight? Again, no one branch has anything over the other.
The Air Force is best when it comes to converting over into civilian life. Glad to see you make a great transition, Joseph. You're correct, the USAF did the right thing for you!! The problem with "once a Marine, always a Marine" is that this motto may not serve well in family life or civilian life. A family is completely different from the Marine Corps. I've run into former Marines that had problems with dealing with their family, as a father. One beat his daughter and caused severe problems at work, because he would not let go of the Marine approach to things. Another one treats his wife like a raw recruit which is a large negative. Yet another one I know almost cost his wife here life. When she had a stroke, he told her to shut up and quit complaining. She, somehow, was able to call 911. Terrible!! It seems that Marines need a lot of psychological counseling before they retire. When i left the USAF, I no longer was an airman. Why should I be? I was not a civilian, and always will be.
+IanPeon Its just for the cameras. In reality, it is very different. I just finished a month ago and calm is definitely not a word I would use. Not as physically intense as the Marines, but not calm either. My MTI was pretty rough on us, we pushed Texas all the time, he regularly ripped us for stuff, and our dorm got flipped multiple times. In 6th week, a kid from our cousin flight was surrounded by 4 MTIs who were all ripping him a new one.
instead of other branches having a pissing contest on who's basic was harder why don't yall just applaud people going into the military regardless of what they do?
+Jason Symmes Having a friendly pissing contest with the other services is part of being in the Military. Of course, it's pretty cringe-worthy when civilians do it.
+Jason Symmes Difficulty matters because the people that have finished their training should gain the appropriate amount of respect. Take Navy Seals for an example.
***** You have to consider that the AF has a different mission, and different training objectives from BMT. Marines and Army have to be pretty much battle-ready at the end of basic, but that isn't the case in the AF.
I was in the army. Of what I heard, the airforce does not really go gung ho like in the army or go fanantical like in the marines. They need people in the air force who can think.

Exactly!! The marines go to kill and destroy, army picks up and creates peace sometimes lol the navy protects water and the Air Force has our sky so :)
Devorah Epstein special missions aviation is a combat rescue job “gung ho” is 100% their job shooting 50 cals from the side of a helicopter while your rescuing a downed solider or marine in the middle of a firefight isn’t “gung ho” then I don’t know what is
Everyone is crying about people making fun of other branches. Get over it. Just some branch rivalry. You know how best friends always make fun of each other? Well this is how the military is. At the end of the day they would all die for each other. Stop getting butthurt.
Nah the Army, Navy and Air Force have branch rivalry. When we do it, it's fun and games. When the Marines do it, they're trying to be dickstains about it. Which is why I don't even associate with them.
I tried to join the Marines, got disqualified for bad hearing. Now I'm going in to the air force. I'm just glad I get to serve regardless of how "hard" basic will be.
@@jeepjaxn5619 Sorry, no offense to air force, but their training seems really easy, (Im joining marines, going up to meps tomorrow, and leaving for basic after i graduate high school)
Dave Banner this is older than 2015 because some of these people in this video I went to tech school with. This is in 2009 so while this is being filmed I was still there training except I was a week a head of these guys. :)
BAMA GRAD yup I remember those growing up and wanted a set myself but the Air Force was transitioning to ABU's so I couldn't get them no more lol And by the way ROLL TIDE!
i bet a lot of people in the comments below rep marines or navy or air force or army but are to scared to pick up a uniform and serve the country...grow a pair...at the end of the day no matter what branch you're in...we all serve for THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!
this comment is a win. i want to join either the army or marines mostly army cuz they the best branch in my opinion. But im actually trying to join and serve

I don’t give af on what branch of military is more challenging in terms of Basic Training, I’ll salute anyone who joins the military anywhere from the Air Force to the Marines
how to branches are trained marines= learn to pulverize the enemy army=swarm the enemy navy=learn to drown the enemy airforce=learn to sit on the enemy
+Laura Kinney I doubt you'd survive a day at any military boot camp! I don't care if you have family in the military! Don't trash talk if you aren't in it! Scumbag! And if you want the branch that does the least work it's the Coast Guard!
+Koslove don't trash talk if you aren't in the military you douchebag! If you want the branch that does the least work it's the Coast Guard! And with how poorly educated you are... There's no way you'd survive in the military! "Lern" go back to school! It's "learn" moron! Just from that I know you're a highly highly highly uneducated second class citizen!
To all of the jarheads in the marines, army or navy that are talking shit about USAF basic... The reason that they aren't as tough on these guys is because they don't have to be. They have to be smart. Which is clearly lacking in almost every other branch. We are all serving our country, so I don't understand the internal war over which branch is more important to "Uncle Sam". Without one the rest would fall.
I laughed when the one recruit said "nope." I have a challenge for that one recruit. Go into Marine Corps recruit training, and tell a Drill Instructor "Nope." Let's see what happens. 😁
I guess his recruiter did not screen him out as he should have. No one ever told anyone in my flight to say, "Sir! Yes sir!" That is how you said it in the Vietnam era.
+Arthur Wheeler it isn't a part of PT unless you were battlefield. You might do it as the last thing during PT test but the only time you got to do pull-ups was if you MTI or MTL said you can use the bar that was within at ease marching distance.

The air force was what I was raised into. I loved that environment and I know it won’t be the same as when I was younger but I just can’t imagine myself being or doing anything other than being in the military. My dad retired when I was in middle school and that was more emotional than I thought it would be. I’m glad I got to experience that and I hope I can do it again.
I enlisted in the AF - Jul 1968. We lived in World War II barracks (no air conditioning), dusty. No tennis shoes to train in. But the TI's were the same (yelling). Spent 22 years in the force. Enjoyed every minute.
Naw Nor I'm 19 in college, my mom is against me "being shot at" so for the next 4 years I'm getting fit for the Pararescue Jumper program instead of becoming a eod for the army. They are spec ops, they are medics that are mixed in with other spec ops units like seals, I won't tell her that and just say I save people for a living XD
Dylan McCallister I'm 18 working on going into the air force right now. I'm going in for eod I think its amazing that youre going to do pararescue. I hope everything works out for you
Man this brings back memories. I was in AF basic training in 89. I had very tough DI's. The first 2 or so weeks was a nightmare. But after awhile my mentality and physical ability started to change along with my attention to detail, that was the turning point to where it started getting easier for the rest of my time.
Oh man, just watching this makes me jealous. I went through this in 99, before we had to do much of this stuff. I didn't get gassed till I got to my first base, nor did I ever have the chance to keep my rifle with me. I wish I would've had this, and more smoke sessions during, but alas....Kids get to have all the fun.
The Air Force Basic Training has changes a lot since I went through. I went in in '99 and the T.I.'s then were much better at getting in your face and yelling so loud it made your ear drums vibrate sometimes. I did over twelve years and separated in '2011 and later on in my career I actually had some friends that were T.I's and I would get invited to their squadrons to see what its like on the other side. They were all up in those recruits faces. It was much better being a "guest" at the snake pit table than having to be a trainee and having to stand in front of it while they had you dumb everything you had on you on the table to ensure you had no "unauthorized material" screaming in your face the whole time. I don't know if it was just because they had the cameras there so they had to be a little "nicer" sounding or if the A.F. Basic really is a lot "nicer" because they are forced to be. I do know that I still have a few friends I stay in touch with who were instructors and they tell me the reason they got out was because of how the "program" was being ran and they knew they could do nothing to stop it. They pretty much said it's not worth it anymore and they didn't want to be a part of it. T.I's getting punished because they, "hurt somebodies feelings" sort of crap.
my dad went through in 1980. They yelled at you 24/7, his new name was fugly after the first day. In the gas chamber, ti would slowly walk down the row ripping off your gas masks, then you had to do pushups while each one of you yelled your name rank and serial number. Nobody could leave until everybody finished.
one guy started sleep walking, he would talk too. Everybody would get out of bed to watch him "kill" the ti in his dreams. He shot him, drowned him, beat him to death with a mop, and frequently choked him to death all with full dialogue. Then it would suddenly stop and he would walk back to his bed, in the morning he never believed anyone that he did it.
I could see why they did that. When going through the gas chamber it is to give the trainee a little taste of what it's like to be in a chemical environment. What they usually use on the trainee is teargas which is not lethal and allows the trainee to get knowledge of how their bodies react when exposed to it and how quickly it can actually effect the body. Stuff that could be used in war will actually kill you as you know. Ripping off the gas mask isn't something they did when I went through the AF they had the trainee remove it and try to repeat their rank, name, unit, birthdate or social most people couldn't get through any of that before involuntary coughing and tearing of the eyes took place. Ripping off the gas mask may sound harsh but in a combat chemical environment anything can happen. Your gas mask could get ripped off by some action you are doing or somebody else's action and you have to know what to do immediately for something like that. My entire time I was in I was Security Forces and we use to get called to the basic training dorms quite a bit for some trainee going crazy and attacking the T.I. or other trainees. There was only three times I can ever remember that we actually had to stun or mace a trainee, on any of the many calls I was on, who attempted to attack one of us when we showed up on scene. Any other time they usually became compliant as soon as we came into the door.
rmandiou1 Did you choose to be security or did you drop out of pj or something? I hear those trainees become security forces a lot of times. I'm getting super fit for PJ while in college, if I pass indoc I know I will make it. My brain is a hard mf, I only stop if I break something.
Well that's a good mentality and I hope you keep it because believe me it's much easier than people let on to lose and it's difficult to get back. To answer your question though I did choose the career field. At first I had signed for firefighter which is what I wanted but changed it to Security Forces (or cop) as it was also known because the firefighter tech schools were so packed at the time that if I were to have failed the course I would have gotten cop most likely anyway involuntarily. At the time I went in though they were offering people who signed for Security Forces (SF) a $4,000 dollar sign on bonus and promotion to A1C (E3) for anyone who signed a six year enlistment. So I did that for the bonus, plus It did appeal to me given the type of weapons they would be trained in and the fact that you as a cop could go anywhere. When I signed for that the Security Forces career field was way undermanned and the AF was hurting for cops. nearly anyone that washed out of their career fields was being reassigned into cop they were hurting so bad for them actually. This was in 1998-2001. Then when the Afghanistan and Iraq war started the AF needed an even bigger build up of its Security Forces career field along with some others. During the Afghanistan and Iraq war Security Forces would become the largest career field in the AF with over thirty thousand personnel in the Security Forces career field alone. This isn't so much the case anymore since the deployment tempo has dropped since the drawdown of forces in Afghanistan and Iraq and they have been cutting their numbers within that career field. Matter of fact I'm glad I got out when I did in the summer of 2011 because I still have a lot of friends still active duty and from what I hear from them they are kicking people out of the AF within the Security Forces career field for the most ridiculous of reasons. But the PJ career field is a well respected career field in the AF. It's hard and long training and their are very few PJ's in the AF given the total size of the AF. I had thought about trying out for it in my first few years in when I was still a little on the young side and in good shape so I researched it as much as I could. I knew at some point I was going to separate from the AF and I thought about getting into Search and Rescue and a great way to get qualified for that would be to have a PJ background. However, by the time I reached my window for a cross-train into PJ from SF I had decided I liked the Security and Law Enforcement aspect and thought instead as a career as a police officer when I got out of the AF. Needless to say it hasn't worked out for me so well since I separated. But good luck on your choice in what you want to do. I wont lie but I don't want to discourage you either, passing the course to become a PJ is hard and long. You have to pass a 6 week course where the PT the living hell out of you everyday all day nearly just to be able for them to say "ok since you passed this course this shows that you've earned a chance to try out for the PJ program." From their you still have a long and hard training course ahead before anybody gets the right to wear the red beret. So it's as much (or even more) mental toughness as it is physical toughness. If you really want it go for it, but just remember that. But it seems like you already have that knowledge. Best of luck to you.
Why do so many people hate on the Air Force? I hate people that act like they're all bad ass, but they don't have the balls to serve our country? Like all the branches of the military are out to do one mission. That's to defend this country. Hey, just remember.. the US Military are back to back World War champs. That's not just 1 or 2 branches either! Think about that :)
Aqua NaczBR amen to that!!! Im enlisting into the Air Force as a coming Senior in high school sometime next month, put in the delayed entry program and getting shipped straight after high school to basic training. Ive done my share of hardwork to be prepared for the military and i have marine friends who respect me as an upcoming airman, each branch needs to learn that yes we are all trained differentky, and thats because of what each branch is for, they are traines to do what they need to and each branch has its purpose, we need each other or we all fall without even one of us.
dont have the balls to serve our country? half the people making fun of the airforce are probably marines and soldiers. its just what we do. we pick on each other. airmen would do the same shit to us calling us crayon eaters. not trying to act like a badass its just our form of brotherly love
Aqua NaczBR just remember those who get on the airforce are the military members who have never seen combat those who have don’t make fun of the airforce when combat rescue comes and saves their ass of when air support covers them
This documentary is very addictive. To all our Airmen serving our country, thank you for your service...🇺🇲 On a personal note, I'm very proud of having an aimen for a father!
I went through Lackland AFB in 1989. It was scary at first but over the following weeks, it became more challenging, but fun. It was the best experience of my life.
1:32 "You don't have any clean clothes at all?" "Nope" "NOPE!" "Nope" "HOW ABOUT NO SIR?!?!" I'm not sure if I should join the Navy or Air Force. The only concern I have is the haircut and the gas chamber.
Hail Odin The Air Force's mission is very different from the Army or Marines. Technology is the Air Force's weapon; not 19th century concepts of physically fighting wars, but by means of air power. Very different discipline.
You won't be able to play Fortnite at all, B.T is supposed to strengthen you mentally and physically, not for you to go back to your bitch-made ways. *Cough cough, Fortnite...
I wish instructor didn't have to hold back in front of the camera crews. It's getting harder to find videos of all the chaos with smokings, fucking up inspections, people crying... You know, the good stuff.
Was there in may 97. After about 2 to 3 days i remember getting the best sleep of my life. I was soo physically and mentally stressed the only real break u got was sleep. Also remember the midnight blues...dudes sniffling and wimpering bc there were home sick lol...good memories
When I clicked on the video I thought it said "basic training", but after watching it for a few seconds I then realized they obviously misspelled summer camp
Manendar Verma shit I'm in the army and it really depends on the Sargent you get, my Sargent woulda been on my ass before I could even say nope literally he always says we didn't answer fast enough then make us do push-ups while he bitch about us not answering for a minute or two more smh
Steve Jones sorry if I offended yet. Was kinda biased on what I said cause the marines training look hard asf. Maybe it changed overtime for Air Force. Thank you for your service though
OneChillPanda explain fighting for your country. I believe someone that joins a combat MOS to personally risk their life to take down a foreign or domestic threat certainly deserves respect. Other than that, anyone else including civilians can do non combat related jobs like warehouse, supply, ASP, intel, cook. I doubt Air force guy waking up at 0800 to check in at his Airconditioned office job at 0900 and clock out at 1700 doesn’t deserve any of the benefits the military has to offer.
I'm 16 and seriously considering joining the Air Force when I graduate from high school, and this video was incredibly informative; it told me what I needed to hear, reassured some of my worries, and helped me decide what I should do for two years (preparation-wise) until I join BMT.
When someone from another branch of service talks down on the Air Force, just tell them; "if you had done better in high school you too could have joined the Air Force".
@@stantheman2756 Yes, among many other qualification requirements, the ASVAB Test is also required. However it is mainly used to qualify you into what career path you are eligible for. The more technical the job, the higher the score is need to qualify for that job. FYI, the Navy and Air Force have more highly technical jobs; therefore, a higher test score is required for entry.
@@stantheman2756 Other requirements include passing a physical (weight check, eye and hearing test, etc), being eligible for a secret security clearance, no criminal record. There may be a couple more. If you are interested in joining the Air Force Security Forces, I really hope you contact a recruiter and let him know of your interest. My respect to you and I hope all goes well. Please keep me posted in your progress.
2:57 wow that old dude still is cutting hair. He cut mine when I went through as well. I kinda think he'll pass away with the clippers in his hand. Also went through basic in the same old 326 (Bulldogs) dorms. Good stuff.
Wow Air Force bootcamp has changed quite a bit since I was there in 82. I liked doing pt. That was easy for me. I was 18 and was fresh out of high school where I had been playing sports and I had been doing some boxing so I was in great shape.
Prior service Air Force Medic 1964 - 1968, Navy Hospital Corpsman 1969 until Retiring in 1988 and served with the Marines for five of those years (Navy provides Medical, Dental and Religious personal to the Marines after specific training, and wear their uniforms with Navy stripes, except for their Dress Blues) Was surprised at the amount of weapons training shown, when I went through we had a day of familiarization, then the next morning we were issued our rifle and marched to the range for some practice and after that I didn't touch a weapon until I went to training to be a Corpsman with the Marines. One thing that brought back memories was the shaving, had a lot of "Kids" in our Flight who ended up like those shown.
My father was as well, C130 crew chief. He was stationed in Katar, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Arkansas, Wyoming, Iceland, Greenland, and Germany. I can’t wait to be a pilot.
Note to all: While this video dates from 2008, its still a pretty good look inside AF BMT. The only real difference is that the Obstacle Course shown in the video is no longer in use. It has been replaced by a CLAW exercise during BEAST Wk. Other than that its still a good review of AF BMT activities.
+antares4s Yea I was in one of the last flights to use the obstacle course, which I found a damn shame because besides seeing your family in the end, that was the most fun I had there.
The O course got taken out last September I believe. I couldn't participate because I got pneumonia and was on a stupid waiver! CLAW was the chillest part of BEAST and looked nothing like the video haha literally didn't do shit but sweat out asses off in MOPP 4 in the hardened shelter every day
People can bash the Air Force all they want, it's part of the military culture to bash on all other branches, but in the end we all support and defend each other. Proud disabled veteran here, USAF all the way! FYI, yes it is probably physically easier than other branches, but when an Airman is tasked for a deployment they'll receive special training that is harder than BMT to prepare them for physical dangerous engagements and sometimes receive training known as ECAC to prepare them for a capture situation and how to handle it, how to escape and how to survive. BMT is just a mental preparation for the new lifestyle that is required of a military member.
I leave in like 2 weeks and I'm uncontrollably nervous if I'm honest but excited to be moving forward at the same time. Leaving my family and friends and the life I had behind for 4 to 20+ years will hopefully be worth it all in the end.
My son is active duty in the Air Force. He scored too high on his ASVAB to be a grunt. He was offered a nuclear technician job in the Navy but he chose the Air Force. He is now in cyber intelligence with the Air Force and has several certifications through his Tech School.... he is now being offered multiple jobs when he discharges. Jobs that pay him more then me, his father, with a degree in Information Technology. So bash these Air Force guys... you should have studied harder.... when you get your DD214, you will call him "boss"! If you qualify!
They do the same thing for Army Navy and Marines also. I scored a 97 on my asvab and drove trucks when I was active duty. I seen soldiers and marines with high asvab scores doing infantry. I respect the chair force but they have it super easy.
Basic Training is NOTHING compared to SEALs, Army, Marines. Air Force is the EASIEST Military Branch. I know because 2 of my cousins are there, and I have 1 brother in the SEALs. He said Air Force is a piece of cake
This makes me kinda want to laugh a little cause I can't imagine my dad doing this ^^" But I'm proud of him. He's now a veteran and served for 21 years. Thank you dad
I went thru in 90 43rd Bmts Honor flight n basic ain't crap. They just throw tasks at u n they know u can't complete in time allotted, but rather how much u get done n how u handle the stress. Always remember that....
everyone talking shit is just jealous. I WISH I enlisted in the chair force. shits a joke and you still get the benifits. ya, you can say you gunned, but so can some air force dudes. and at the end of the day they still treat you better. 0 time in the field, bodies still work, and the hottest wooks.
Say what you will be during my last deployment (2016-2017) I can’t even count how many times these airman(is that what you call them?) saved our asses. We control the ground they control the air and give us intel on what’s happening for the shit we can’t see. Now that I’ve been out for a year I’m highly considering swapping over to the Air Force!
+Jessica Stark Good luck Jessica. It will be a shock to your system for a week or so but then you'll be fine. Plenty of others made it through so can you, just think positive and listen carefully to what is being taught.

Kinda shocking how calm of a military basic training this is.
It's not all like this. Look up Marine basic videos
The Army wasn't like this either.
+IanPeon Its just for the cameras. In reality, it is very different. I just finished a month ago and calm is definitely not a word I would use. instead of other branches having a pissing contest on who's basic was harder why don't yall just applaud people going into the military regardless of what they do?

Having a friendly pissing contest with the other services is part of being in the Military.
Of course, it's pretty cringe-worthy when civilians do it.
thank you, that's the most annoying part of reading these comments
+Jason Symmes Difficulty matters because the people that have finished their training should gain the appropriate amount of respect. Take Navy Seals for an example.

Devorah Epstein special missions aviation is a combat rescue job “gung ho” is 100% their job shooting 50 cals from the side of a helicopter while your rescuing a downed solider or marine in the middle of a firefight isn’t “gung ho” then I don’t know what is
1:34 did he really say ''nope'' to an officer? hahaha what a legend.
He's not an officer he's a ssgt
mliambooth96 bad translation from Swedish, ''officer'' in Swedish means a military personnel above private.
That's not an officer
+Atlas Ledin (Max) He's still an officer just not a commissioned one.
+mliambooth96 tech sgt to be more precise.
Everyone is crying about people making fun of other branches. Get over it. Just some branch rivalry. You know how best friends always make fun of each other? Well this is how the military is. At the end of the day they would all die for each other. Stop getting butthurt.
hooyah navy
That's well put... Semper Fi
HORAH MARINE CORP
HOORAH*
Nah the Army, Navy and Air Force have branch rivalry. When we do it, it's fun and games. When the Marines do it, they're trying to be dickstains about it. Which is why I don't even associate with them.
My son Tyler is in San Antonio Air Force basic training..:)
We are very proud of him...
ClarksonsinUSA my Son Dakota just left today for Airforce Basic Training. I told him before he left, "MAKE YOUR OL MAN PROUD!"
ClarksonsinUSA is he still there?
I tried to join the Marines, got disqualified for bad hearing. Now I'm going in to the air force. I'm just glad I get to serve regardless of how "hard" basic will be.
Good luck!
Dude died. R.i.p.
???-???
Thank you for your service 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Same here, went to meps my 18th birthday for the marines and got DQd for H3 hearing but next week ill return to meps for the airforce, fingers crossed
Is it fun?
The Air Force gets so much crap, but they are definitely still a very very important branch.
Philippe Petain They have the one of the better barracks for enlisted, I heard.
Thank goodness the space force is coming so we’ll get some slack.
I like the airforce, I think it’s really interesting
I remember when some Air Force guys had to stay in my barracks (Navy) and they reported it for pour living conditions like wtf
@@jeepjaxn5619 Sorry, no offense to air force, but their training seems really easy, (Im joining marines, going up to meps tomorrow, and leaving for basic after i graduate high school)
How old is this footage? Looks like it was filmed on a 1990's home video camera....
2015
Don't worry that's what military commercials look like too.
Dave Banner this is older than 2015 because some of these people in this video I went to tech school with. This is in 2009 so while this is being filmed I was still there training except I was a week a head of these guys. :)
BAMA GRAD yup I remember those growing up and wanted a set myself but the Air Force was transitioning to ABU's so I couldn't get them no more lol
And by the way ROLL TIDE!
Not 90's. We were still in BDU's.
i bet a lot of people in the comments below rep marines or navy or air force or army but are to scared to pick up a uniform and serve the country...grow a pair...at the end of the day no matter what branch you're in...we all serve for THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!
+albert carrillo ...Wow......I can't wait to pick up uniform and defense my Nation's

this comment is a win. i want to join either the army or marines mostly army cuz they the best branch in my opinion. But im actually trying to join and serve

The Marines tell you to fast walk..

Seeing this video put a big smile on my face because this was filmed late 2008 and early 2009. Some of these people in this video I went to tech school with, brings back a lot of memories.
Shoutout to my fellow Team 1 class members and others in this video. Miss you guys.

As I've been preparing for the marine Corps, this looks EXTREMELY easy. But I respect all branches. Each branch has different motivation and goals.
I don’t give af on what branch of military is more challenging in terms of Basic Training, I’ll salute anyone who joins the military anywhere from the Air Force to the Marines
how to branches are trained
marines= learn to pulverize the enemy
army=swarm the enemy
navy=learn to drown the enemy
airforce=learn to sit on the enemy
School= learn* to spell

MHD Predator What if I told you that you can be a smart Marine 🙃
Its a brother/sister hazing kinda thing. Every branch talks shit about eachother.
MHD PREDATOR, what were all of those shots the recruits were getting? My nephew who is more like my son is enlisting. I take him to MEPS this week.
I love seeing civies taking this banter seriously.
Not a whole lot of brain-washing theory to keep recruits afraid.
Recruits-life.exe has stopped working
He won't live lol
Lawrence Lepes army training we said nope and the drill seargent was like seriously u will do this whether u like it or not. lol

I thought the Air Force don't do pull ups :o
It's not tested on really, just for fucks lol
+BigPapiDrew95 oh ok I see lol thanks.
no its part of PT. where did you hear that from?

I'm only 16 years old and going to Air Force.. For now I'm in military school.. My mom is proud of me
Naw Nor I'm 19 in college, my mom is against me "being shot at" so for the next 4 years I'm getting fit for the Pararescue Jumper program instead of becoming a eod for the army. They are spec ops, they are medics that are mixed in with other spec ops units like seals, I won't tell her that and just say I save people for a living XD
Dylan McCallister I'm 18 working on going into the air force right now. I'm going in for eod I think its amazing that youre going to do pararescue. I hope everything works out for you
Dylan McCallister you’re gonna be a fucking pararescue hell yea fucking badass

why do i feel this video is a trap ? lol watch when i join and i leave to basic training its a whole different thing lol
Exactly man, prepare for everything.

They did, I didn't get to sleep for 3 days
Def not my beloved Corps lol

Man this brings back memories. I was in AF basic training in 89. I had very tough DI's. The first 2 or so weeks was a nightmare. But after awhile my mentality and physical ability started to change along with my attention to detail, that was the turning point to where it started getting easier for the rest of my time.
*Super army👍👍👍 From UZBEKISTAN* 🇺🇿🇺🇸🇺🇿🇺🇸🇺🇿🇺🇸
Well technically the airforce wasn't a thing until after the world wars
Air Force wasn't around for either world wars.
dont have the balls to serve our country? half the people making fun of the airforce are probably marines and soldiers. its just what we do. we pick on each other. airmen would do the same shit to us calling us crayon eaters. not trying to act like a badass its just our form of brotherly love
Aqua NaczBR just remember those who get on the airforce are the military members who have never seen combat those who have don’t make fun of the airforce when combat rescue comes and saves their ass of when air support covers them
This documentary is very addictive. To all our Airmen serving our country, thank you for your service...🇺🇲
On a personal note, I'm very proud of having an aimen for a father!
I went through Lackland AFB in 1989. It was scary at first but over the following weeks, it became more challenging, but fun. It was the best experience of my life.

"HOW ABOUT NO SIR?!?!"
I'm not sure if I should join the Navy or Air Force. The only concern I have is the haircut and the gas chamber.
Some young men apparently did not learn manners. Millennials! LOL

Hail Odin
The Air Force's mission is very different from the Army or Marines. Technology is the Air Force's weapon; not 19th century concepts of physically fighting wars, but by means of air power. Very different discipline.
Wow this looks easy. 5/11/03- 8/8/03 Parris Island 3rd battalion India Co
Looking back at this, it is. I went through AF BMT 11 Sept. 2012 through 9 Nov. 2012. Still serving today. Also, thanks for your service marine.
+David Scaggs just friendly service member arrogance on my part. Thank you for your service as well, and be careful.

Compared to what you went through.
Thanks, Devil.

Me too.
Dar ren hey how’s life
I went through usaf basic in 1985 and it seems now the AF has picked their game up in training new recruits. Great job.

In what week of basic can we play fortnite??

I wish instructor didn't have to hold back in front of the camera crews. It's getting harder to find videos of all the chaos with smokings, fucking up inspections, people crying... You know, the good stuff.
Mathew Durand watch some real boot camp videos of the Marines
Was there in may 97. After about 2 to 3 days i remember getting the best sleep of my life. I was soo physically and mentally stressed the only real break u got was sleep. Also remember the midnight blues...dudes sniffling and wimpering bc there were home sick lol...good memories
I'm in AFJROTC it is easy and fun I plan on joining the military happy to see new recruits soon
I like how they don’t yell so much the the navy and the marines and the cost guard and the army scream. Like if u want to go to the Air Force
the video is a meme, they do and will yell at you just as much as every other branch. Hell some of them used to do the same job in other branches.
How can one join Air Force? really love that branch....
Tanner false. BMT is much louder than this lol TIs scream just like every other branch. This video is for recruitment and not actual.
When I clicked on the video I thought it said "basic training", but after watching it for a few seconds I then realized they obviously misspelled summer camp
lol so true, this is cake compared to other branches in the military
Manendar Verma shit I'm in the army and it really depends on the Sargent you get, my Sargent woulda been on my ass before I could even say nope literally he always says we didn't answer fast enough then make us do push-ups while he bitch about us not answering for a minute or two more smh
so youre saying the coast guard has harder training?
Cody Widdows coming from a pussy who never served
To make it worse they got rid of their "beast" week.
Why can’t we respect every branch and move on. Sure Air Force training isn’t hard but we are all fighting for our country
SirSquinty how the fuck do you know?? I was in in 97 and it was hard as shit
Steve Jones times change I guess
Steve Jones sorry if I offended yet. Was kinda biased on what I said cause the marines training look hard asf. Maybe it changed overtime for Air Force. Thank you for your service though
Lmfao Air Force basic a cake walk I am in the Army they have it easy
OneChillPanda explain fighting for your country. I believe someone that joins a combat MOS to personally risk their life to take down a foreign or domestic threat certainly deserves respect. Other than that, anyone else including civilians can do non combat related jobs like warehouse, supply, ASP, intel, cook. I doubt Air force guy waking up at 0800 to check in at his Airconditioned office job at 0900 and clock out at 1700 doesn’t deserve any of the benefits the military has to offer.
I ship in December and to be honest, these videos have gotten me so pumped up. If I had the opportunity to leave tomorrow I would. Can't wait.
I'm 16 and seriously considering joining the Air Force when I graduate from high school, and this video was incredibly informative; it told me what I needed to hear, reassured some of my worries, and helped me decide what I should do for two years (preparation-wise) until I join BMT.
there is way too much cheerleading and smiling haha
When someone from another branch of service talks down on the Air Force, just tell them; "if you had done better in high school you too could have joined the Air Force".
Lastman Standing doesnt it have to do with the asvap test? Isn’t the lowest score requirements army and Air Force??
@@stantheman2756 Yes, among many other qualification requirements, the ASVAB Test is also required. However it is mainly used to qualify you into what career path you are eligible for. The more technical the job, the higher the score is need to qualify for that job. FYI, the Navy and Air Force have more highly technical jobs; therefore, a higher test score is required for entry.
Lastman Standing what other requirements? What if I want to join the Air Force security forces?
Good stuff.
+Z3CHYD He cut my hair back in 2013 haha
+Garrett Misenhelter yup I was 2012 so not to much time between lol
+Z3CHYD He wasn't there when I went through, and this was just a couple months ago. He must have just stopped right before I went through.
Maybe. I mean he was in his mid 70's I believe. Gotta retired at some point lol
Good Ol West! haha the chick with the purple pink hair fucked my head up pretty good! lol 322!
As a Marine, they march better then any army video I have seen. Congratulations.. just part of our overall team
Wow Air Force bootcamp has changed quite a bit since I was there in 82. I liked doing pt. That was easy for me. I was 18 and was fresh out of high school where I had been playing sports and I had been doing some boxing so I was in great shape.
I’m shipping April 10th wish me luck guys!
EDU005 easy not hard join marines RAH
EDU005 good luck soldier !!111
Dude we shipped the same day to Lackland!!
@@possumlover666 whe. You first go to the recruit office , how long does it take to start?
now I know what my brother went through. now he is a SSGT in the Air force
Eliza Vargas but he didn’t go through anything except a summer camp lol
Eliza Vargas they don’t go through much but once they finish basic training these guys are squared AWAY Air Force Guys March like Marines lol
Damn this is super chill compared to The Marines Boot Camp
Mark Arellano you're very bright
We all talk shit about the airforce because half of us wish we went into it
Prior service Air Force Medic 1964 - 1968, Navy Hospital Corpsman 1969 until Retiring in 1988 and served with the Marines for five of those years (Navy provides Medical, Dental and Religious personal to the Marines after specific training, and wear their uniforms with Navy stripes, except for their Dress Blues)
Was surprised at the amount of weapons training shown, when I went through we had a day of familiarization, then the next morning we were issued our rifle and marched to the range for some practice and after that I didn't touch a weapon until I went to training to be a Corpsman with the Marines.
One thing that brought back memories was the shaving, had a lot of "Kids" in our Flight who ended up like those shown.
Looks like summer camp or band camp would be harder and more stressful.

+Z3CHYD yeah I was in the first flights that went through the CLAW and it kinda sucked
The O course got taken out last September I believe. I couldn't participate because I got pneumonia and was on a stupid waiver! CLAW was the chillest part of BEAST and looked nothing like the video haha literally didn't do shit but sweat out asses off in MOPP 4 in the hardened shelter every day
I'm 5'8 probably 100 pounds, do u think I can join the Air Force?
*****
Minimum weight requirement for all branches of the military for 5' 8" is 125lbs.
"willing to go into harms way" that was great
People can bash the Air Force all they want, it's part of the military culture to bash on all other branches, but in the end we all support and defend each other.
Complaining about 30 minutes of running?

My son is active duty in the Air Force. He scored too high on his ASVAB to be a grunt. He was offered a nuclear technician job in the Navy but he chose the Air Force. He is now in cyber intelligence with the Air Force and has several certifications through his Tech School.... he is now being offered multiple jobs when he discharges. Jobs that pay him more then me, his father, with a degree in Information Technology. So bash these Air Force guys... you should have studied harder.... when you get your DD214, you will call him "boss"! If you qualify!
They don’t “offer” you any jobs
Jadyn Saunders they do tho
They do the same thing for Army Navy and Marines also. I scored a 97 on my asvab and drove trucks when I was active duty. I seen soldiers and marines with high asvab scores doing infantry. I respect the chair force but they have it super easy.
I'm joining when I'm older
Nice but have fun in basic training lmao
+watson 407 actually have fun, that shits easier than highschool
Basic Training is NOTHING compared to SEALs, Army, Marines. Air Force is the EASIEST Military Branch. I know because 2 of my cousins are there, and I have 1 brother in the SEALs. He said Air Force is a piece of cake
no shit
MiniModzHoster you don't compare SEALs to other military branches. They are not the same
This makes me kinda want to laugh a little cause I can't imagine my dad doing this ^^"
But I'm proud of him.
He's now a veteran and served for 21 years. Thank you dad
I was deployed with the first MTI. Lambert. He's out of the military now retired as MSGT. It's funny because he was the most chill guy.
Oh my god, this looks like summer camp compared to the marines and army basic
Oh my god the obstacle coarse could be navigated by a kid with Down syndrome
And compared to Navy
"Nope"
"How about 'No Sir'"? 😂
I'm so excited to leave on October 13
Thank you for signing up
Smh have fun a boot camp
Shoulda joined a better branch.
+Jonathan Armendariz what do you mean a better branch
+cmpondeck he means a better branch
I went thru in 90 43rd Bmts Honor flight n basic ain't crap. They just throw tasks at u n they know u can't complete in time allotted, but rather how much u get done n how u handle the stress. Always remember that....
2019 any one
everyone talking shit is just jealous. I WISH I enlisted in the chair force. shits a joke and you still get the benifits. ya, you can say you gunned, but so can some air force dudes. and at the end of the day they still treat you better. 0 time in the field, bodies still work, and the hottest wooks.
Let'em fly let'em fly.... let the chair force fly!!!
+Cesar Neri ..Its not chair force. Its Air Force"Aim High"
Cesar Neri from the east to the west... US ARMY IS THE BEST
It’s a cadence you stupid dumb dumbs
it's chair force
RE-UP AND JOIN THE AIR FORCE! MY BAD I MEANT THE CHAIR FORCE
I go to basic this summer, right before my senior year.. Im scared, but atleast i know im going to be something in my life.
I'm psyched to leave December 1st
+Jessica Stark Good luck Jessica. It will be a shock to your system for a week or so but then you'll be fine. Plenty of others made it through so can you, just think positive and listen carefully to what is being taught.
+Jessica Stark I leave this monday, November 9th!
I wish you luck!
+Jessica Stark im leaving December 1st too!!
Haha no way! That's so cool haha
Air Force and Navy > Army and Marines
Airforce: "Run let's go don't walk run..."
AF Recruite "yes sir.."
Marines DI *"SPRINT! SPRINT! MOVE! MOVE! RIGHT NOW! TURN AROUND! SPRINT BACK! TURN AROUND! SPRINT TO ME! SAY AYE SIR!!!"*
recruite 'Screams so loud he bursts the DIs eardrums'
Marines DI *"LOUDER!!!!"*
I’m feeling relaxed watching this compared to watching the Coast Guard basic training video
I went through when it was still Chuck Norris approved, you could get screamed at, sworn at and things thrown at you. You had to run everywhere. No brisk walking.
I leave September 15th
+Talayla Badger got a career planned? if so what is it?
hope you're having a good time! :)
+Talayla Badger Jan 19th, unless I can shorten my DEP, which is still pending
Do you think I could join thr air force being a vegetarian?
+Karunamayi Malet -Skees Yes... But just keep in mind you're that annoying one that hold's up your flight to get your own meal. Especially when it comes to MRE's and little sandwhich boxes. In the DFAC you're fine.
its different now. you won't hold anyone up really.
what do you mean?
Woah well thank you for the information, I think it will be worth trying

i leave December 8thh😊
+DanieeBæ Mrs.Huntley So do I!

+DanieeBæ Mrs.Huntley No way I leave the same day!!!!!! I'm from California!! Hopefully I see you there!!

Counting on it! BMT is gonna be lit! 😂
Salute all my fellow veterens. i was in the 323 basic training squad Lackland AFB
I was 17 when I enlisted. 3711 BMTS, Ssgt. West and Ssgt. Sharrow. Ended up in an elite Air Rescue outfit. Loved every minute.
Oh, and we trained in combat boots, no sneakers, and don't let ANYONE tell you it doesn't snow in San Antonio, it does and I was there!
roy skuderin wow. did not expect snow
Ha this is funny compaired to army and marines. Army leads the way!
Hooah
Think you got the wrong branch there
Marines is the way to go.. Ooraaah!🇺🇸
H Holmes Yup
TheGamersFriend I can tell by your spelling errors why you couldn't join the Air Force :)
