Formula Hybrid+Electric Competition 2024

Formula Hybrid+Electric (FH+E)-founded and run by Dartmouth-registered a record 32 engineering student teams for the 18th annual competition on April 29-May 2 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).
The 14 new and 18 returning teams involved over 500 undergraduate and graduate engineering students from across the US and Canada competing with the hybrid and electric high-performance race cars they designed and built over the previous ten months.
Each vehicle must pass numerous technical and safety inspections to make it onto the track, but the competition reminds participants that "winning isn't limited to the teams that take home the trophies." Even teams that don't see the track can win by gaining valuable problem-solving and teamwork skills.
