Another honorable mention is the mantis wielding clubs, still probably less than the pelagornis but i usually have good mantis for resource gathering since it scales well into the late game
@@brennanjeffries4151 could be another setting as well, there is a setting that only allows map specific engrams so make sure that's how it's supposed to be as well, idk if the ultimate edition has scorched Earth as a part of it or not :/
for hide id recommend use of a decent level therizinosaur, just go around and kill everything, the only thing that should trouble you would be Alpha Carnos/Rexes or Gigas just be sure to harvest the bodies with the "bite" attack (default on pc is C)

@@langjan4322 no worries my dude, as long as you go on crazy kill streaks you'll get a bunch of hide even if u don't use the bite attack to harvest, good luck :)
@@DiftoTV I just did a test with a sample group of 20 mantises, the Average for harvesting on the back vs not were so close I'd have to say there is no real difference. Sorry to mislead.

Okay, i did polymer with argies, but now i will tame a few for this and leave them up north to harvest!

Also for some reason the moschops seems to gather more if you kill the dinos and let it harvest them on aggressive and dont ride the moschops.

Yup, you would have to have the scorched Earth dlc to be able to unlock it, but the island has all the resources to craft it in the fabricator

@@DiftoTV oh it does. But apparently you have to play on scorched earth and unlock it there. Then it gets unlocked across your other maps
