4 problems. Def not as much poly as you're advertising unless you crank up rates. Doesn't work out of render range. REALLY lags up servers when you have a bunch of them. They're a ton of better ways to get organic poly.
If you want to build these anyway, some tips. You can pick up penguins if you don't have a shoulder tame on and throw them, take your gauntlets off and punch them to get them Into the tighter areas with knockback. get some tamed achatina and build a pen for them on the top. Pump their weight and store your org poly on them instead of in containers they increase the spoil timer. They also produce a small amount themselves along with lots of cementing paste and breed like crazy for meat and chitin. Place an oviraptor in between the farms, fill it's inventory with rocks till it can't walk and set it on wander, it increases the egg spawns and pooping rate for kibble and fertilizer and even oil if using dung beetles. Use only female moschops or mating pairs to get some eggs from them as well. If you're trying to save org poly long term, get oil or a basil and a cooking source. Oil + poly makes soap which doesn't spoil. grind the soap back into poly and oil when you need it. You lose some in the exchange but the trade off is it will not spoil.

I put this together but the Moschops isn't harvesting the dead Penguins. I have victim harvesting enabled so why won't it harvest?

What do you set the moschops to in order for them to auto harvest the penguins?
try enabling wander and set their aggression to aggressive? i might be wrong but its worth a shot

@@grzanka8593 if you just wanting to build a mechanic for it for fun, that is one thing... If you just want max resources there are much better methods than any kind of build.

Wait so if i put all points into organic polymer on moschops i could get the most polymer with it from mantises too? I play solo so i don't really need a entire farm tho it won't hurt. But i would totes kill few mantises for like 400 polymer and have my moschops eat em instead of using my mount to eat them.
And here i thought moschops is kinda useless as a harvester next to theris and other main harvesters mid to end game

Is there any way to collect the polymer without having to ride the moschops? What other dino can you put that would kill the penguins for the moschops to harvest?
Yeah go on crab runs either in valg abberation cave or in abb it’s self, and u get stacks of poly and chitin for cement
The moschops is best because you can level organic polymer up in the option so it gets tons. I did prime meat and was getting 200 prime from a bronto. You can just whistle the moschops on corpse so you don't have to ride it.
How come when the eggs hatch I can’t kill any of the babies ? Do I have to claim them and let them die ? Or let them die naturally ? I can’t harvest the bodies idk what I did wrong

Its not worth for official . The rates and the breeding timer make it almost usless. Use poly gacha , or go on crystal isle in the bee cave with a doed. You get slot cap in 5-10 mins.
How is this an automated farm if you have to hop on the moschops to farm it? That's the opposite of automated. All it is in this state is a penguin egg farm/hatchery.
The moschops on agressive bites it like normal so it farms it

This doesnt actualy work on official. Dinos dont aggressive attack babys. He just said it does for views it only works on unofficial modes servers
Je suis sur un serveur pve avec des potes. Mon moshops ne tue pas les bébés pinguins, il est en agressif etc, mais les pinguins sont invincibles, sa viendrais d'où ?
so i messed around with a few different farms, basically you have to turn mating off while away from base. is there a setting that will keep them farming even when your out away from the base. as soon as i leave rendering distance they go into stasis and babies hatch and mature red. then have to used Cheat destroytribedinos to kill them off. i have PVP and Friendly fire turned off just to test. seems like a trash mechanic. your dino's should kill them unclaimed even on a PVE server.

Ok, so basically u put 3 male penguins on the top ramps and female penguins on the bottom ramp fit as many female penguins as u can and enable mating on all of them. Basically the female penguin lays eggs and they fall down on the foundations where the moshchops are roaming and they hatch thr which produces baby penguins, the moshops kill and harvest the babies and bam! U got polymer

So on a pvp server I was looking to do something like this, but automatically. Basically I put a bear as these do attack stuff when aggressive but it seems tames don’t agro on unclaimed anymore :’(

@@benwil6048 yep, when I unchecked PVE Mode it started working - moschops runs around and eats the babies that hatch and starve to death now. not a great amount though so probably go back to the chainsaw with mantis corpses or something. unless the rates are crazy boosted the results are not impressive.

This is an issue with ark no way to really fix this
This is on a 10x server. It's like 500-1000 if that on smalls and it's almost nothing on official. Like 50. He counted the harvest not the breeding part. This only works boosted and on those, you'll harvest thousands just going around in the wild.

Ocpf lol just checking if you'll actually heart it 😂 looks good i was actually using this video to show a friend a the basic version of what i was talking about on a org poly farm (had one kinda like this in mobile) just bigger and used small hatch frames and ramps. The breeders would lay eggs some would get stuck and grow up without farming then the new adult penguins unclaimed would kept hatching even more eggs 🥲 which would clip through and we used a dire bear with a few stats in attack and most stats in weight. (Similar but more limited in the mobile version) playing pc now im on a server where baby harvesting reaps nothing its a fairly new server so trying to talk the admin into enabling the feature.

@@C_zer1106 probably, he placed turrets so its safe to assume its for pvp reasons so his whole farm doesn't get destroyed with 1 c4
on my Ark, the Moschops ran away, what could i do?

You can also turn it into soap with an industrial cooker with some oil, it won't spoil and if you put the soap into the grinder it turns back into polymer

@@imbillionaire4741 half, but you do need to realize the farm that you've made. so there's gonna be enough. Plus otherwise it's just going to spoil anyway.

Just use a poly gacha 10x better and actually gets 10k an hour on official this gives u 10k once every 24 hours cause of breed timer

It's cool but i think the best way too get organic poly when u need it is Bee Cave in Crystal Isle. With an Magmasaur, u can farm full cap slot inventory of Organic poly with only run half of the Cave (x2 x3 Event even alot more than that).

@@lolixd9731 the farm is not automatic... You have to kill the unclaimed babies by riding or commanding moschops for a very tiny amount of poly.
Or claim/feed them and wait for them to be adults and do the same thing for 50-60 poly each (on single player).
Just go to Crystal and do bee cave for 5 minutes
Its gonna take longer to move between servers constantly than to make 1 farm on every map

Sure. Metal is best for PvP but wood and stone would work for PvE or single player

@@jenova7509 having same issue, moschops isn't killing the babies, they starve and it doesn't eat the bodies, I ride and right or left click and it doesn't harvest, I even tried hitting corpses with a club and get no harvest? hadn't tried this in a long time but gave it a whirl as new base is compact and no room for gachas.
