I was in the Navy when this happened. It was such an awesome night. I was living in a military housing neighborhood. The news spread like wildfire. We were so happy and proud of our brothers who carried out this mission. Proud to be a part of the United States Navy for that time of my life.

There WAS an aerial unmanned-drone flying 1000 ft above the compound with live feed broadcasting live to the situation room, but they LOST its feed half-way through the mission as the SEALS had to breach one of the bricks wall inside the compound. The only person getting helmet-video and direct radio-contact with SEALS was Admiral McRaven in Jalalbad and CIA director Panetta in Langley. They both were also video-conferenced to Washington and Capt. Lindsey of USS Carl Vinson.
