Young man, I am 71 years old and started try to play guitar, but I am unable to bar chord, you are the first person to make sense of triad shapes. I really appreciate your advice and hard work you put into this video. Thank you so much.
Well Blues-man I'm 75 and been at it for at least 50 years. Drive on Blues, it gets a bit better as you progress, but never does it get any easier NEVER. lol All the best to you
The triads kind of help me get out of the pentaBox... But, Knowing the whole fretboard is KEY LOL!! Bad joke lol! (which I do not yet). 1 Solid year in but started at 48. Yes I am a covid guitarist lol!! Trapped at home what else to do lol!! Triads!! LOL . TY great video and thanks for the hard work!! It's appreciated by many!! I'm addicted to Guitar now LOL!

Totally a great lesson concept. I was looking at building this for myself. A player should learn to find every major and minor triode that is within reach in any position, and then, after that, learn where all the fifths are. After that's done, learn the sevenths. You can now quicly learn to reach out and grab most any common chord voicing you are going to need. As you grow more advanced, add in the fourth, and the more of these you learn, the faster you learn the other intervals. This ultimately becomes much easier than trying to memorize any number of any specific type of chord in various positions.
Crazy how much you packed into ten minutes. I'll be chewing on this one for weeks. Much appreciated. Also, would you have any thoughts on exercises or drills to learn the fretboard?
I think triads are super cool.😎 the Eagles use triads in the ending of Hotel California what what a great way to play a guitar I love triads although I’ve been playing since 1974 started reading music and 1983. I’m a solo instrumental, guitarist, and I want to learn a lot about triads. I love them a lot they sound so cool. Thanks for the video. I love it it’s super cool.😎👍🏼❤️🎸🎼🎶🎵
