You were the first quilter I found on TH-cam. I have watched you since the beginning of your channel and you taught me to quilt. I love your attitude to quilts and that finished is better than perfect. Natalie did a great tutorial on binding a scalloped edge when she did her Q&A series a couple of years ago. You will be missed but I do love watching Natalie’s tutorials too.
We're so happy to hear that you like the spiral binding, we totally think it is the perfect match for all the magic contained inside of Jenny's new book!
Oh I love that quilt especially the scalloped border. You are truly the best. Thank you for helping so many times with my quilting . Safe travels n God be with you n your husband

What a GREAT Tuesday Newsday! Love the idea of the picnic quilt and embroider a heart when you visit that park, genius! The oatmeal cake I'm sure is the same recipe I used to make when I was a little girl for my family, sometimes two or three times a week, minus the chocolate on top; had so forgotten about that recipe! Excited for you Jenny & Ron to go on your mission, oh the memories and faith building opportunities, and the stories you will share with us. Praying you will do some kind of newsletter, available online, from Africa to capture your journey. Blessings!

In fact,I was just about to make this cake because I'm jonesing it really bad right now. Loved your quilts, especially the one with the scalloped edges. Thank you for sharing. Love you all.
You are a far better woman than I am because, at our age, I would not be able to give up two years of my life with my children and grandchildren. Good luck and safe travels.
Hi Jenny, I made that quilt! I loved the idea of it since my husband and I were fortunate to have visited 21 national parks and monuments, including Haleakala. What great memories. Now you and Ron are going to make new memories, too. God bless you as you fulfill your mission in West Africa. We will miss you, but Natalie has your back - I really love her manner and creativity.
Oh my, the tool box is AHHHmaZING. I already ordered the set of new tools so I will need to think hard before pre-ordering this! What a treat for Annie to get a surprise quilt from you, Jenny. I try to not miss any of your tutorials for the last 14 yrs at least. I watch them more than once. I believe I must have lots of knowledge hidden in my head and heart, kinda like reading the Word of God. The Word comes back to me quicker though. 😊
What a new adventure for you and your husband! I have that National Park panel, but have not done anything with it yet until I saw what you did! What a wonderful opportunity to serve a mission. May you and your family be truly blessed for your dedication to the Lord. I have a good friend in our ward, whose son will be returning in just a few weeks from his Mission in Douala, Cameroon. It has been hard for him at times, and for his companions. There are so many languages spoken there that even after almost two years he is still learning yet another language. Another young man from our ward is serving in Zimbabwe, and yet another in the Philippines. You will have so many stories to share about your experiences in a new book of how people in the world are different, but still the same.
So Happy for you and Ron. Memories to be made and sharing with us. Love that you will be doing Christmas Box with us and Natalie and Misty included. Always great to share communication with a friend, like you. Best Always.
