You can run Chains of Olympus PSP at a steady 30fps on the Trimui Smart Pro with Crossmix OS, vulkan performance mode, 1x resolution, autoframeskip enabled, emulated clock 333 MHz. It does get a little hot after 30 mins of play but this is pretty amazing for a device that cost me less than 50 bucks and the design is perfect for PSP. Better than an actual PSP (the analog slider and shoulder buttons feel like crap). No reason to keep my actual PSP anymore.
I wish Trimui has hdmi out and bluetooth. The big screen is such a plus. The fact that playing 4:3 on Trimui has bigger screen than Rg40xx is so underated
@@mdr8615 I snagged a cheap pair just to use with my retro consoles. Kinda sucks because wireless headphones are pretty neat. I’m gonna stick to them too
I believe the next version of Crossmix will feature Yaba Sanshiro standalone, people have already managed to compile it. So the performance should be similar to the one on Anbernic's XX devices soon
yup,im a "tester" on the smart pro discord server and yabasanshiro improves quite a lot performance, and makes some games who dont even boot on retroarch to run and play well! Panzer dragoon is pretty smooth with the standalone
Trimui Pro is a handheld that I got just for the heck of it but I have been playing a ton of PSP on it and it has become my favorite way to play PSP. Lovely little device
Tenchu Shadow Assassins is brilliant. I’ve also been playing a lot of Socom Fire Team Bravo. Death Jr runs great. God of War games are great. I could go on and on! Some more obscure games have had issues, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised overall! :)
Anbernic has better screen, better sound, better controls and except psp has better emulation, so I took the 40xx and waiting for arrival, Trimui looks also good but Anbernic has better components quality, also I don't like the sticks, I have a PSVita and they are not comfortable.
Personally I use 16:9 aspect ratio mode in GBA, SNES etc. on Trimui, and it's working great. Both are great devices, but Trimui screen makes it better for me.
I own the 35XXH and the Trimui. Both devices arent that great for games you mainly use joysticks. Those are ok, but you might consider a device with very good joysticks and also more power if you wanna play PSP more often. In General, both handhelds are still amazing for the price. Someone mentioned the 40XXH Dpad and buttons became worse compared to the 35XXH and the material is more slippery/cheaper, not sure if its true.
looking into these handhelds and, what would you recommend if i play the likes of gta, tekken and nba? also, from what i've noticed (correct me if i'm wrong!) audio seems bad on trimui, then there is less lag on anbernic (esp. on gta)
For some reason on techtoytinker tomato version I've had easy 30 fps on vulkan for gow th-cam.com/video/kAAd2SCBejM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RJAxAYiJT7_MTd9j but on crossmix for some reason on vulkan I've got a graphics issues . You've got switch on the bottom and I've got set up as performance mode when is on , it is boosting performance but heating up console
Is there a way to set the default core for a individual game. For example dr. Mario 64 I have to use standalone mupen64 to run on trimui. Be nice to not have to select the correct core each time
I have a TrimUi Smart pro. I am very pleased with it, your Video helped me make the purchase. Thank-you. You have great content. Is there any possibility of you doing a video on how to upload videos to the onboard media player. It would be great to add further functionality to this device. 2. I installed a a bunch of themes particularly the "pipboy/fallout" theme, but when I change to another theme the colors on my emulators remain "Green" is there any way to fix this without reinstalling CrossMix OS. I really enjoy your videos,
Rk3566 similar performance with a133 at 1.8ghz. rk3566 have better arm cortex. Rk3326 similar performancr with h700 at 1.5ghz. h77 have better arm cortex Rk3566 > a133 > h 700 and rk3326 to be the slowest.

Trimui pro is my favorite budget handheld
i love it man

is it possible to rebind some of the keys to act as R3 and L3? on the device I mean. This is meant for Moonlight and PSX

it does have bluetooth
It has usb c out as well so if u have usbc to female hdmi u can connect to TV with hdmi cable.
@@mdr8615does it have Bluetooth audio?

Ordered the 40XX H in black, but i think the retro color is better. Gonna order a Trimui soon.

Intesteresting and deep comparison thanks. I like clicky dpad because 3ds also has clicky dpad.

How much we don't need another 3566, they should have put one in the Trimui.
Thanks man, i almost bought the trimui pro for $50 on tick tock
good comparison video, it is exactly what i wanted to see
Thanks 👌
Anbernic just made another knockoff I love my trimui pro it's no replacement for retro games
thanks jacek - for me the tsp is better performance is similar but the bigger screen is much better
Thank God I got my TSP for ~U$42, there's no way I'd pay double the price for the RG40XX H.

For me, widescreen on a more budget handheld seems like a bit of a misfit. Other than PSP, everything else is 4:3.
There are also ported games available in widescreen. But if you only like ps1 games below the 40xxh is the choice
no. gba is 3:2 and much bigger/better on the TSP.
you can play Dreamcast widescreen. Also heard some ps1 and n64 games can be wide screen. I never tested those.
Also, there's Moonlight. For streaming it's very good (although it does not have L3/R3)
The screen on the Anbernic looks better, but I can get the Trimui for 10 euros less than the Anbernic. Difficult decision.
What do you mean with Performance mod on at the God of War part? And why aren't you using Vulkan at the Trimui?

Can you do the powkiddy rgb10max3 vs trimui smart pro? They seem to be quite similar.
@mucek805 Yes, it will be my next comparison 😉
I like the Anbernic 4:3 Screen, the 16:9 borders would bother me!
I'm more bothered by the top and bottom black bars on any modern game.
Can it play Saturn?

The heat produce by trimui chipset for playing 2 or 3 hours reach 57° and it's not good for your hand and hardware lifespan
Can i play call of duty... Or i need buy A pssp???

Have you tried joystick fixes by the Gamma OS author? I think they have been incorporated into Muos and Knulli.
No I haven't tried 😕
Summary from your video Trimui is suck.Crossmix is the best firmware but just wait Muos for 40xxh I think it will be alot better.
I belive trimui has more powerfull chip
@@Omgtiredyes, but not by a lot. The real upside is that trimui overclocks their chips.
