They have a lot of visible dust. But the dust we can see with the eye isn’t dangerous. Dust we cant see with the naked eye is. I remove the rats and change the bedding out first when i clean and that gives it time to settle while i decorate. They rarely sneeze after adding them back I’ve been using them for well over a year now and will likely continue to do so! It’s worked really well for my rats, regardless of age or number i have had. And it’s very budget friendly.
@@RatRandomness the aspen I am using now has very small particles of dust and sticks everywhere. Also the size of the shavings are huge. I will probably give that brand a try and see if I like it better. I have an air purifier that runs all the time in the rat room which helps a lot.
Love your videos; you always have the most original rat content and I drop whatever I’m doing to watch when a new one comes out. I don’t buy bendy tunnels anymore though; I’ve found rain gutter extensions in more natural colors like brown and dark green plus they’re cheaper and hold their shape well.
I usually do the same! In fact my dark ones are rain guttter extenders. But this cost almost the same (maybe a bit less) and i needed another so i grabbed it 🥰

How do you like the Aspen shavings from Walmart? How is the dust level? The one I am using now I don’t really like.

@linzynason7000 let me know what you think once you’ve tried it a bit!
