I've seen countless videos of people talking about launch control and I've seen the paddle shifting but honestly had to clue what all really meant and this video clearly demonstrates those points. Thank you very much for the impromptu rolling classroom and education. I very much appreciate it.
Well, you could just set up Z mode to put the car in comp mode. Then all you need to do is press the Z button on the wheel. In my Z51 that put me into PTM, DRY mode. Also. Let the revs stabilize a little longer before you release the brakes. LC may not engage if you’re too quick. You also probably should leave the DCT in auto. Most people simply miss the 1-2 shift in manual. Then you hit the rev limit and lose.. Anyway, the wife beater is a nice touch..lol
Thanks for the 1st tip. Live in the city so all I have ever had were automatics. Have always wanted to try paddle shifters but was not really sure how to properly use them. I get the concept but actually doing it is a totally different thing. Thank you for explaining.
for luanch control with the DCT transmission in the 2020 c8 to 2023 you need the )1 wheel to be straight , )2 Stand on break )3 stand on the gas and it will redline at 3500 for a good launch 🐎 good vid
