    Those samples indeed sound really natural right out of the box. The good thing is that you can shape them in a lot of cool ways with processing!

    I’ve been waiting for this style of kit from you guys for a while and I have to say this sounds amazing!

    Absolutely loving that you guys are going beyond metal now because the work is phenomenal, I don't have to spend ages making your kits sound good the way I do with Toontrack stuff, give us some more rock kits and some funk kits too haha.

    Sometimes when the right hand crash is being triggered I can hear the sound "flutter" from right to left and back for just a moment on my headphones, not just in this video but in other reviews as well. Does anybody else notice?

      Yes, i just got it and i hear it too, the left hand crash sounds normal, the right hand crash does some panning swishing thing.

    Dunno if you will see my question, but does this software have in its library a drum beat like Roseanna by Toto

    Exactly HOW do you route the drums to their own individual track?

    Is it possible to have the kick and the snare 2 times on the keyboard for better playability?

    • @MixReady
      @MixReady 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Absolutely! You can assign two midi notes for each drum articulation in the 'Settings' page.

    Is there a way to reverse the crashes so the 22 is to the right instead?

      Best way to do that would be to load a second instance and swap the stereo image on the second!

    Just bought this. Can’t wait to dig in and try it on my Alesis Strike Pro SE.
    Not sure if anyone can help but I have 2 issues with these plugins. (Also have the OKW Metal Kit)
    1. When I assign a cymbal choke to one of my cymbals, when initiated, it makes the sound of a cymbal hit and then choke. Not just a mute of the cymbal. I’m sure there’s an easy way to do that but haven’t figured it out yet.
    2. Is there an easy way to change the panning of the different elements. In the OKW Metal kit for example, the 14 floor Tom is panned to the left. I would like to have it panned to the right.
    Thanks in advance :)

      Hey man! I think that the choke is working as intended. All the choke functions on all my kits work the way you described.
      As far as panning - I don’t have any OKW kits but I have many others in the GGD family. They all have panning within the settings panel. I can’t recall offhand if it’s on the actual Tom page or not (I believe it’s under each Tom on the more modern GGD releases). Hope that helps slightly!

      @@WinterhouseRecords thanks so much! I’ll try seeing if I can find panning somewhere in the settings. In regards to the cymbal choke, do you just have that not assigned to anything? I could see how they have it setup would work in terms of programming midi drums. But when playing on an electronic kit I just want the sound cut off. Not for it to initiate the attack of a hit and then the choke. If that makes sense. Basically when I playing to a song and I want a cymbal choke, I end up just having to pinch the cymbal instead of striking it with the stick. Or then it sounds like I hit the cymbal twice and then choked it

      @@KGTv123 I know whatcha mean. unfortunately I have no experience with an actual kit. Just the programming!

    You should do a fused One Kit Wonder. Like a combined Aggressive Rock and Metal.

      @GetGoodDrums  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can always combine all the kits you want to in Kontakt!

    Yeah, so these drums seem to talk a lot and occasionally hit one element, and then talk more about it. Would love to hear them in a groove, in a song, or something...
