Meet Nemo, My Moss Ball 🌱

🎉 Welcome Nemo 🎉
I’ve been wanting a low maintenance pet that for me would be disability friendly, so I decided to adopt a moss ball. More specifically Marimo moss ball. These little guys are algae and they can live up to 200 years. They are found in a lot of cold water rivers like Japan and Australia etc. and they’re really easy to take care of.
I’ve always been raised that plants should be taken care of the way we take care of a dog and cat, they have personalities and feelings. And so this little moss ball and I are hopefully in a be lifelong buddies. And I guess I now have a family heirloom to pass on considering how long they can live. I’ll probably get a bigger enclosure for it because they can get bigger if you give them more space but right now I’m really happy. ✨
