THIS IS HOW SMART PEOPLE TREAT TOXIC PEOPLE | Simon Sinek Motivation Speech |
DESCRIPTION:
"Smart people know that dealing with toxic individuals requires a balance of empathy, emotional control, and strong boundaries. They understand the root cause of toxic behavior and respond with patience, not reaction. By maintaining emotional control, they prevent being drawn into negativity and keep their peace intact. Setting clear boundaries is crucial, ensuring that toxic people cannot drain their energy or disrespect their limits. Smart individuals lead by example, modeling respect, kindness, and maturity, which often disarms toxicity. Finally, they choose their battles wisely and know when to walk away, prioritizing their well-being over engaging in destructive interactions."

I understand why, and I choose to stay away.
I could not agree more. I feel like if given the opportunity to leave now I would do it in a heartbeat. I am constantly praying the time will come.
Or just don't deal with them if you don't have to.
The video is great, you need to keep promoting your channel. Is not hard.
Ja, Theorie- but if you day i sm not going to tolerate this- what you do then- go to lawyer and that sh…d or what are the konsequent steps to take that you stop disrespect?
You can't change someone else. You can only improve yourself. I had a good supervisor who had a terrible temper. He expected perfection of himself and his workers. Well i am human, therefore I am not perfect. I learned to defuse his bomb by going to him saying " i really screwed up, im so sorry, you are going to be upset with me" He responded "i won't be upset, what happened?" We were able to move forward in a positive way.
What about narcissist?
I feel like they’re the same as toxic people
@@mysweettoday1989toxicity is a blanket layman's term. Personality disorders all have elements of toxicity. Each disorder is unique, although there is some crossover.
It is so big mistake to think why somebody is toxic until you are not his psychologist... Much better to understand why that someone's behaviour trigger you., Work on your emotions not on others'
Psychologists don't have a diagnosis called "toxic" This is a layman's term. It covers many different personality types and actual disorders. We as laymen don't diagnose, we see detrimental situations caused by others and as smart people want to avoid the toxicity. We don't have to have a PHD to have discernment and respect.
