Question: middle aged Dad here, own a 2017 Buick Enclave ( just got) and a 2014 RS Manual... 52k on Odom. Found a 2010 Panamera on CarGurus here in Louisville with 54k for $29k and I know I can get it for $26k easy. Thinking of trading Camaro for it. Thoughts?
@@MyNameIsCurrentlyUnavailable go for it if it is a 4 and has the 911 turbo II 20in rims like mine it loves to eat Pirelli all seasons. You can get away with small things like coil replaced or oil changes at a euro specialist the rear brakes I had done with mr. Tire for 140 labor and 300 parts from eBay. The most I had done was a high pressure fuel pump but insurance covered that from me going though water. They are great for traveling. But I wouldn’t mind have a camaro SS with a LT5.
@@GLA45Amg716 save your money buy a 944 (only problem they have are belts and clutch replacements) and you can have apple CarPlay with a Sony XAV 100. My PDK went south and the dealer/Porsche wouldn’t help with a new one. Can’t put a used one in. Has to be programmed by the dealer. And pay 15k for a new one. Turned the car in and bought a Prius prime. Plenty of get up and go and turns heads believe it or not.
I dont know if Motorweek would be willing to tell me or not, but have always been curious what kind of a computer that they always suction cup to the front windshield of all the vehicles that they test?????
personaly i think it looks okay its not ugly or out there and yet it can g 0-60 in 3.5-3.7 ish sec. n i love the inside. but id take a mercedes benz sclass of it for daily driveing
@palebeachbum I would much rather drive my cayenne turbo every day rather than my 911 turbo (997) and/or GT3 (996). Sure, the turbo is a daily, but try driving it every day for a month straight. It's not too forgiving on the back. Cayenne's are for people that already have porsche's and want to keep the "specialness" to their 911s =)
I don't know. I am torn about this car. I love the performance and the concept. I love the interior. I love that it is a Porsche. But I just don't love the exterior. If this looked more like a GranTurismo on the outside this would be just outstanding.
That's not the point. If YOU don't like the way YOUR car looks then YOU should get a car you like. Who said anything about pleasing others? I personally think this car's proportions are ugly so I would probably not buy it. Plus, a good looking car does not necessarily have to be 'terrible' as you put it.
@chris2586 Don't think so... I live in Leipzig where we have a Porsche factory, so i see a lot of em. Well ok, maybe it looks "better", but still ugly in my view. But nevertheless: From a technical perspective, it's an amazing piece of technology - impressive.
not bad for their 1st sedan, ugly wheels though. Expensive as well consider it does 0-60 in 5seconds.. you could get a MAZDASPEED 3 cheaper, and do it up a little bit to make it go faster, just an Idea to save like $60,000 lol
Well, this is called a 4-door coupe according to auto purists. It's not the most practical of vehicles. I'm not willing to spend $100k on this; if I had 100k on a Porsche, I'd take the more verstile Cayenne S Hybrid.
that the same car as the nissan altama with the same drive train thats why the car is so fast they did a good job nissan bought porsche in 2007 and now they are building great cars together
I love the idea of a porsche sedan, the interior of the car and the fact that it has porsche performance but man does it have to look sooo ugly. The front looks great but once u go back it looks like this fat blob for the back.
Just purchased one and it's awesome, this car is truly a mailed fist in a velvet glove.
Can i have it?

That 4S whipped through those cones! Flatter than Kansas lol.
Hey, did you guys shoot this video in Maryland? on the navi, i see it says reisterstown and i am from reisterstown
Very reliable I put 40k miles on mine in 1 year. Other than tires or oil changes it’s been great.

it does offer an alternative to the Mercedes Benz S63/S65 AMG and the S600 as well as the Audi S8 and the A8 W12
looks better in person
Luv it...all it needs is some tint and to be lowered a bit and some nice wheels.
I see a lot of these in my hometown of White Plains, NY
@venom5809 if you drive and be in one and compare to others like the s class you would learn to love the exterior. I did
I LIKE IT dont know if id buy it over a S class or 7 series but i like this a LOT!!!!!!!!!

The reason it is that shape was because the Chairman had to be able the fit in the back seat comfortably.

Well, it was either the "ugly" rear end, or tight head room, which would have defeated the purpose of its existence.
My mom wants One! 😏😁 Lol

this car has no FWD
Front-engine, not fwd....
Porsche should have stayed with 911 and Boxster. Limos and SUVs are a joke
american made porsche .
Porche has gone to the dogs. First a Porche SUV (gag me), and now a 4-door, FWD Porche. I just got sick on myself.
