Obj416 was the first one to have that, but came with insane malus, like no gun depression, just 80° turret traverse and such. Lis almost has the same reload as T-54. Since every tank has much better pen and gold ammo is almost standard, T-54s armor also became weak

(of course it's decent enough to penetrate if you know where to shoot) while you have 274a or iron arnie in the game. Armor is meh, again 274a and arnie can block much, much better. Also i somehow feel like the gun on the LIS treats me much worse than on 274a, but that's only me and my RNG. Everybody loads gold nowadays, so you will get penetrated in the face at some point. One of the tanks that is overrated in my opinion, so i think community rated it better. It's balanced tank, capable of doing some nice plays, but even every single rating on index indicates that it should not be an epic category on average. Anyway, thank you Skill for your hard work! Love you King Baboon, you taught me so much about the game. Over time i have more and more different opinions about some tanks, but i'd never get here without your help. Also it's kinda shame that only tier X has it's specific turbo mechanic, if LIS had it incorporated, then i'd not even hesitate to rate it 5/5 stars.
Doing marking on this tank so i decided to see if you said anything about the gun... Handling is not questionable... its piece of flaming you-know-what... With bond equipment and 5 skill crew I have around 50% hit ratio on distances of 200m... going above 200 it rapidly falls to 20-30% at best (in my case). I had session last night with 21/7/5 (rest of the games are not much different). Stuck at 79% (down from 84 prior to the holiday ops). Horrid...
I usually dont spam gold. I do very well in it mark 2 on it. My best game was 5800 damage in it. Then another right after with 5500 damage. Gold does help for those deep shots a lot.
Very first shot demonstating why he is worthless to shoot on most tanks. You need around 100mm pen to have a reasonable chance to penetrate even light tanks. Sure the light tank only has 20, 30 or 40 mm of armor, but the spaced armor and the angle easily increase the effective armor to 60mm or 70mm thus making sub 90mm pen he non penetrating most of the time and not worth to shoot, unless finishing off a low heath tank dug in a defencive position andeven then it can be limited option.
Me too, i traded my tier vii American premium TD. I hated that slow piece of trash. This tank is now my new favorite medium premium in my rotation when I want to make credits. I have mine set up for spotting. It comes in handy mid and late game when lights have died.
I don't see why the shell velocity of the gold rounds is this important on the Lis. The 980m/s on the standard rounds is more than enough in close to mid range and the Lis isn't really a sniper. I think it's nice to have the velocity when you need it, but the tank isn't severely handicapped without gold.
When shell velocity is faster, the trajectory is flatter which improves your accuracy if you understand the physics in the game. Prime example is you can play golf with some of the low shell velocity guns at low tier.😊

I used to actually hate this tank when i was playing it normally, even sold it for credits, a few months afterward i decided to give it a chance and use only gold and holy shit is this tank amazing.
Tier 6 and 7should have mm limit right now, imagine lt 6 or 7 meet tier 8 with cvs even tier 9 and med ... how they can even counter, that why we can't have more newplayer😢
One of worst medium tanks i had in my garage, amount of missed shots is just insane no matter if i put purple stuff it just does not hit anything with 0.26. Premium tank is supposed to earn im not gonna load full gold and miss anyways most of the shots its slow and just not not enjoyable
That can happen sometimes, AMBT I could not hit anything doing the field mods, bounce or miss. Switched to full gold to complete field mods then noticed it hit almost everything. Now I don’t run full gold anymore and find the tank still hits where you aim mostly. This seems to be the case often, almost like secret modifier on rng till you get mods done. I do find shk, waffle, grille low dispersion guns don’t go where you are aiming often although of course in dispersion circl. Tanks like rhm, jgptiger, e50 etc hit where you aim mostly
players who cap base (exept if they do mission) when your team winning clearly are trash and should be punished also submarine players schould have allways minimum 1 week ban for this actions
Cap gives me XP and credits.. who cares if you aren't able to farm for more damage... Don't act like you would give up anything for those mostly toxic randoms.

3rd game is truly extraordinary. A tier 10 result with this OK, though not nearly the best, tier 8 premium tank.

i got this tank for 80 cent, traded in the alpine tiger and used the special offer to get the gold for it

in some cases if your shell speed is fast enough you can kill enemies without getting spotted eventhough your bush is gone

No!!!! Standard ammo makes you credits. Carry a balanced load.
