    Thank you for your video on this beautiful shawl! I’ve been looking for a pattern with triple crocheting and double, I just think the stitch is simple but elegant. Brought some beautiful yarn at Hobby Lobby to make a summer shawl and now I have the pattern to get started. Again thank you and sharing the pattern ❤️❤️❤️!!

    This will be my first shawl attempt; I've crocheted two blankets in the mini-bean stitch, a scarf in the cabbage patch, along with two scarves in the butterfly stitch, tried making an afgan in the 'glorious granny square' but it's corners stretched out farther than its' sides, and also a couple mid-wife or flowers-in-a-box afgans as per 'fiber-spider' and a mustard flowers-ina-box scarf, also as per him. I love crocheting, and give them away to repay, show appreciation, and to the lucky few-show my love and adoration. I love the repetition, the lacieness, and the drape that your shawl has. I always say too much. Have a great year.

    Hi there! I just found your channel and subscribed! You are very good at explaining the stitch pattern. I like how you don't explain each stitch in a "how to" detail like so many other tutorials I watch do; every single yo and every pull up a loop...etc. I always think if someone is just beginning to learn crochet, they really should find tutorials teaching each stitch rather than jumping into a pattern tutorial to learn. So I really like your method of teaching a pattern! Thank you!♡ This is a pretty shawl. I do a lot of charity prayer shawls and this will be a great one for that!

    • @TheCraftNut
      @TheCraftNut  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am glad you enjoy the way it is explained! I have watched some crocheting videos and that was something that I found tedious too, and why I chose to do it the way I did. I am glad you enjoy the pattern and I love that you are going to make some for charity! I would love to see any that you whip up if you want to tag me on Instagram when you are finished! Thank you for subscribing! ☮️💙🎶

      Depends on how big you’d like to make it. I used almost two full skeins of red heart ombré yarn

    I've made this and it's lovely and so easy to follow, thank you. However the top of mine has curved quiet a bit. I was hoping to make one as a gift, is there anything I can do to stop it curving please?

    Hi there. I am attempting to make your shawl and everything is going well except for the ends which are trying to curl inwards. Any advice on how to stop this from happening? Thank you for your clear and concise tutorial. This is my first attempt at s shawl!

    • @TheCraftNut
      @TheCraftNut  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is completely normal, but if it’s happening excessively I would try to just work a little looser on the ends 💙☮️💙🎶

      Love that!! I only used a skein of red heart ombre which is 482 yards. I had extra yarn after making my Shawl. I have an updated version of this video on my channel, my newest video if you want to check it out, it shows all of that a little better! Hope that helps! ☮️💙🎶

    I’ve been crocheting for some years & this is my second time doing your shawl, but I’m wondering why I can’t ever keep my count right ? I just don’t get it why I’m always one off of two many . Please help me figure this out. Thanks

    • @TheCraftNut
      @TheCraftNut  ปีที่แล้ว

      I honestly wouldn’t be able to tell you why it’s happening, But I can help! What I would do is first make sure you aren’t distracted so you can keep your count. And another thing you can do is keep some stitch counters. You can put them how ever many stitches apart and keep track that way ☮️💙🎶
