I've been crocheting lap covers for Nursing Home patients, I'm going to continue lap covers for the men and crochet this "Beautiful" shawl for the women. Thanks you for the tutorial 💖
I just completed this project in a chunky yarn from Hobby Lobby. Finished it off with a picot edge. Turned out amazing. Thank you for the clear instructions and pattern.
I’ve been making shawls in different styles and colors getting ready for cooler weather as a coat isn’t needed. Your video popped up so I started it in a heather grey yarn. The other comments were spot on! This is so easy and I’m sooo glad I found your video.
Exactly what the title describes! Absolutely love this video, it was super helpful. After trying to find a poncho video and failing I decided to start smaller with a shawl and I’m so happy I found this because I can actually sit and make something simple yet beautiful! Cant wait to see more videos 😊
I’ve come back to crotchet after a very long time & your video was so easy to follow so it’s really helped me to get started again. Lovely for those days in winter to spend some time doing creative projects. 💕🙏🌟
October 2022. I'm crocheting this triangle shawl and uts coming out very nicely. In the beginning I was not doing the correct amount of d.c. per row, thus the mantra looking like shawl. Thank you. Very good pattern. :)
First time in your channel. I’m a beginner , slow and visual learner. I don’t understand patterns. What I do, if I like what I see, I watch the video a few times then when I think I’m ready, I will crochet along side with you. Thank you 🙏 😊and God bless you …
Thank you!! Finally a project that's easy indeed and small details are broken down enough for a beginner like me:) doing it in some Malabrigo yarn as a present and will shamelessly harvest compliments;)
Thanks for the very good tutorial! I tried some other ones but I kept struggling, this one was very easy to understand and follow along. So thank you very much for the video!
Great tutorial.. Im doing mine with Juicy Coutour in luxe velour sparkle electric violet. ..... i will be watching this over and over til im finished... thx
Thank you for this video ………I love doing the stitches ……I’ve been doing the granny triangle scarf getting tired of that one nice to try something different 🥰
Please help me I’ve made this shawl twice but I want to make it so that both ends don’t have a point on both ends. In other words how can I make my starting rows straight I noticed when finished both end look like it could be the bottom! Not cool!
Thank you, I'm a begginer I like how yo explain and how easy and pretty is. Although, I did something wrong, mine looks like a manta ray (the sea animal), is not just a little, it's like really noticable :(
Lovely shawl. Will make, but my question is should you put a border around the shawl. will the top that goes across the shoulders be sturdy enough with one? Thank you in advance for your help.
Thank you! As for the border, you could totally add a border if you'd like, it would be lovely! But in the end, it is sturdy enough without one. As you crochet the rows, you'll see that it gets more stable, and the raw edge does not bother me when I'm wearing it.💕
Hi Leslie, great question! And nope, you won’t need to change a thing. You’ll follow the pattern as written but just go through both loops in each stitch.
❤️your pattern, thank you JBC! I was just thinking re a ? someone asked re doing dc(or Uk Tr) going thru both loops of next sts- Going thru the back loop as you do in your pattern only makes the triangle shawl fluffier, lighter & therefore warmer?! As well as a v different nice look 😁 I tried it! >< J C & P
New subscriber! Thanks for the video, it's very easy to follow. If I want this to be much larger, do you think from this starting point, I could just keep adding rows? Or would you amend the pattern?
Hi Melissa! Thanks so much, I'm so happy you found the tutorial helpful! And yes, to make it larger, you'll just want to continue adding more rows until you've reached your desired size. Happy crocheting!
I love ❤️ your simplicity and l enjoy making this shawls. Would you by any chance be making a cowl that would be big enough to turn in a small cape also? Are a knitter also ? You make beautiful Shawls. Sorry l have not seen the pattern below on my site. ❤️ love your work. God bless you keep up the great work.
It's not necessary to double knot the new yarn ball on. One knot each side will do. I do love the shawl pattern. Something to do when I want something useful and easy :).

Glad it was helpful!
Easy enough pattern. Jess from roots and refuge TH-cam channel sent me here as she making one too. thanks for the tutorial 👍
Would I be able to use a wool yarn for a cozy winter shawl
Thank you, I'm a begginer I like how yo explain and how easy and pretty is.
Although, I did something wrong, mine looks like a manta ray (the sea animal), is not just a little, it's like really noticable :(
Mine too.
Clarissa mine looks like a manta ray too and I'm just on my 7th row
Clarissa P.S. I found my mistake on row 3. At the end of the row I had not done 3 d.c. just one.
I'm a new subscriber!! Thank you for this video

Love this! Definitely putting it on my crochet "To-do" list.
Wonderful!
Love this pattern Would like to know how many rows to get this beautiful drape. This is going to Alaska and needs lot of drape. Thank you. Sandra
Beautiful job. You are a great teacher
Thank you so much for the kind words! Happy crocheting to you!
omg! i love you i just found you
Awe thanks so much! And welcome to the channel! 😊
I'm a beginner. How would it change the shawl if you didn't crochet into the back loop only? Thanks!
Hi Leslie, great question! And nope, you won’t need to change a thing. You’ll follow the pattern as written but just go through both loops in each stitch.

Awesome thanks 🦋🌺🧶
Thank you so much
Do you have the written pattern
How to add on yarn
How many stitches does each row increase?
how much yarn in total does this need
Can I get a written pattern?
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. My rows are increasing by 6 instead of 4 😩
You say often that the pattern is down here, but I'm a dummy. Can you help me find it?
My son just showed me. I really AM a dummy!
How please?

not so easy...
Oh no! What part is giving you troubles?
Love the pattern but can't watch your hand movements while you crochet.
