Another project you will never start let alone finish. You've had that Dune Buggy frame for at least what 5-years, never done anything with it. And then you got the rust bucket jeep sitting in the yard that Ms Venustas wanted so much, thats just sitting in the yard too. I do love your channel Curtis don't get me wrong, you make some interesting video's. Having said that, I'd appreciate it if you actually started these projects and finished them. Now, if you get going on this trike bike, I'd be very happy to see you do the restore job on it. Right now she may look like hell, but I think with some good parts on her, some spit and polish, that trike may come out looking pretty good, almost OCC good if you know what I mean lol.

I work 50-60 Hours per Week , Sucks Running a Small Business
I hope this year to get another person running the shop so I can take at least one extra day off.
than some extra project will get worked on.
But most of the project i am buying like the VW stuff.
Will be used / moved around from one to another.
As the Main Plan with the VW stuff is to get a VW Bug that is street legal and move over all the good parts after to that.
As for the Landcruiser i had plans when i brought it to just use it asis but with a diffient engine and not fix up the body.
But with the value of them skyrocketing i am going to wait and fix her up right.
Once i get the shop done , As in power and Heat.. I will do a lot of the work over the winters.

At this point, what do you want finished more?
    The Buggy or the Trike?
If you need to pick between the two.

The fact that he never started on the Dune Buggy should tell you what you need to know. Hopefully, if were lucky, he will actually start working on the trike bike very soon, and hopefully bring it to completion, rather then letting sit and rot in the yard, like the Dune Buggy, and the rust bucket Jeep.

The Trike would be a Lot Quicker to build , As its small and will not take up much room in the shop LOL!
The Large Vw Buggy , I have the Transaxle fixed and ready to be reinstalled. But.. She will need brakes , Reduction hub bearings and some normal Engine TLC first.
I have picked up a lot of parts for her over the years.. But the Transaxle i needed a Clean shop to assemble everything in.
(no Room in my dads shop) As the assembly needs to be put together before it's mounted into the buggy.,

If i were you i would use that spare Tranaxle on the Sandrail, do NOT put Bus gear reduction axle back on it. Trust me! That distributor is a 009 ...Those are not ment for Road use. They are for Aircraft or water pump use, if you try to run it on the street you will have a dead spot which will drive you crazy!

Ya i know , no vacuum advanced on it.
I may used that spare transaxle not sure yet on the buggy , but the reduction boxes looked very cool and extra ground height and lower gearing for big tires.

@@starpuss Remember Curtis, you need real horse power for driving offroad. I'm not sure what horse power that Volkswagon engine is rated for, but it certainly can't be as much horse power as the Volkswagon engines on their bugs/vans/busses. But I agree, the tires that are currently on the bike now, those arn't taking you offroad anywhere. And if you tried to rock climb her, she'd just slip off the rocks and slide off them lol.
