I think working for yourself is very underestimated. Working on your health hoals, managing your portfolio and taxes, pursuing hobbies and passions and supporting family and friends and being there for them emotionally and mentally is all meaningful work. For work to be meaningful it doesn't have to be linked to money or getting paid. If it does, its a bonus as long as you still have your freedom and time.
Just like the saying, ‘an old patient knows more than a new doctor,’ I find your financial advice incredibly practical and grounded in real-life experience. Your insights are far more valuable than those from professional financial advisors. Thank you for sharing your views with the common people, especially for helping Indians.
Thanks for your appreciation and glad you find the advice practical and useful. Trying our bit to share our life experiences. Do share the channel details within your network
Excellent video sir. Your videos are well organized, easy to understand and connect to. Your studio or desk where you shoot these videos is also great. I also love the cat statue on your desk 😊
Excellent videos. I binge watched almost all the content in last few weeks. Especially appreciate your restraint in sharing your corpus. Although I can imagine it would have been tempting to make such a video for the views. Its nice to see such mature content.
Thanks a lot for watching the videos and appreciating the content. Do share within your network. Yes, our corpus number can be misleading for others who have their own unique and personal circumstances. Also, as they say, 'Comparison is a thief of joy!'
Great content Yogi ji. Whether it’s a diet plan or FIRE plan there is no universal applicability. Most folks just don’t want to do the work for themselves (their individual context/situation) to figure out what they want and how to make it happen. They just want someone else to tell them what the magic number (or the magic pill) is - which doesn’t exist. Managing Risk (not just market/money but health, longevity, family etc.) is another aspect one should consider as one prepares for FIRE.
May I request you to guide me in my professional life and review our (my wife n me) financial plan? If you can, please let me know where do I email you for further details

Absolutely spot on. Such work is taken for granted, underestimated ... and sometimes even not categorised as work!

Important parts because psychology around money matters a lot - lifestyle inflation is also about psychology. Nice video!
Thanks!

This is so spot on. Important to not seek that shortcut of just looking for that magic 'corpus number', which many unfortunately fall for
Hi Yogi, need some youtube video making tips.
1. Do you use teleprompter?
2. Do you shoot video on phone?
3. Who shoots your videos?
1. Nope. Just share my thoughts extempore
2. Yes. iPhone 12 Pro Max. Planning to upgrade to 16
3. Selfie stick :-)
Good video
Thanks. Glad you found it useful.
