Of course! I primarily used the appropriately named 'Dark Wood' and occasionally applied 'Forest Sprite' on top of it while it was still wet. This creates a simple green/brown color variation. Both were also heavily diluted with water to minimize the staining effect and avoid using excessive paint.
Too many people are afraid to add a logical amount of debris to their buikds, fearing it will impede playability, but you are showing how much better it looks and how it doesn't affect the gameplay at all, if done right. Well done.
Thank you! I really love this approach to stonework. After experimenting with XPS and cork, I must admit that I much prefer this method. Thanks for tuning in :)
Mmm…9x 16” tiles gets you to a mordheim board too😅. Love the color variation, it really homogenizes the elements on the board while keeping it interesting/tantalizing.
Absolutely! I could definitely expand on this. I still have more than enough MDF Kits for something like that. There is only the problem of actual physical space in my home for sth. like that :D
Beautiful board, Matt! Have you ever thought of displaying it? This year theme for the Tactica is Urban War and such a small diorama can maybe fit in. (Although it may be too late to apply for it, as it's already in February.)
if i may ask.. which brown speedpaint did you use for the wood as a wash? i love the result! thanks!

I am making a 2*2 Cyber city Skirmish board at the moment. It's my first time really trying it... I've had the materials for months
Sounds great! I hope you have as much fun building as I did :)
Sooo good! Owlshield/Peter designed a wonderful game and your board really does it justice! Great job!
Thank you, Ben! I wholeheartedly agree regarding the game itself. I love the idea of playing on such a tight area, and the setting is just perfect!
Beautiful work. Well done.

Would love to see some tiny rats running among the scatter rubble.
What a lovely idea! Although, in the setting, literally everything is dead. So it would be Zombie Rats then. :D
Looks incredible! Top job, Lenric :D
Thank you! :)
Well done! 🎉

Thank you! Yeah I’ve been playing around with the idea but I also figured it may already be too late. Either way it’s highly likely I’ll be there.
@@LenricsRealm, you should at least try it! Would be nice to see it live.
First time here. Subbed. This was really good.
Awesome! Welcome and thank you!
Great board! I’d love to play necropolis on this. Beware, it is addictive, I’m on my 3rd board…
Thank you! I already have ideas for future boards :D
insane
👍
Why are you reading this comment instead of playing Necropolis28?
You've got me :D
@@LenricsRealm I can't stress how great this game is.
