Mine arrived today and after 2 hours playing with options and apps, I can say I'm more than happy with this toy. Very good reader.

Hello! Can anyone tell me if you can turn the screen to read horizontally? I love this reader but I find it very difficult to read vertically. Thank you!
The diagnal size doesn't seem very useful when articulating the difference on this one. Its the same width, but taller so you can fit more of the page on screen. If you are reading books that could be useful, it still keeps it palm-able but less flipping
Great video! I think I will stick with the first generation InkPalm Mini, it has been great so far.

@@grandcalifornia8410 Sorry for the late reply, it does have a warm light. You can adjust the color temperature. I still really like my original InkPalm Mini, but between the release of the the Hireader Pro and an incoming tax return I am reconsidering my options.

I take it landscape mode is a big no no with a narrow screen? I didn’t hear the word landscape even mentioned.
It has reflective screen , it won't be great experience for a long read.
I'm pretty sure 2nd vison battery is 1400mAh.
The first generation device had a matte back case, why would they make it so reflective and glossy on this one is beyond me. Other than that I’d say it almost makes me wanna buy it. But I’m likely to wait until the 4th gen one drops.
Hi how’s the battery life for this? If I read 2-3 hours everyday with wifi off, how many days can it last ?
Looks like a pretty decent device that just needs a little more polish in the software. Xiaomi hardware is always first-rate.
What is your overall impression of the tall form factor? Personally, I think the dimensions look strange for a reader.
I don't understand the glossy finish...why ?

I can't find the battery review portion . Is there one?
Battery reviews are very difficult because it takes weeks for us to gain any sort of referral data and then if we try to do battery life tests, that means we can't touch the device or at least must use it very delicately under certain parameters to not mess up the true battery life

Understand but the battery life was slice down 50 percent which I don't understand why so just wondering how strong it it. But I totally understand. No worries. Maybe will wait for next generation. I don't quite like the orange background too. Looks kinda weird.

I would much rather have stock Chinese and have to mod it like earlier models than a reflective screen. I wonder why they stick with that design choice? There's no way they don't see customers talking about it, right? I'm a huge fan of mini e-readers, and I'd like their presence to remain in the industry, but I'm going to pass on the v3 I think.
This is a cool one. I love the light one handed devices like this for superb portability.
Size is bit small .. it should be wider
For manga? Not an option... but for webtoons, oh boy, yes (except for the color but if you can handle it, this device is a good option).

We sell it. We are an authorized xiaomi distributor and have been so for some time now.
Amazon is actually pulling the plug of Kindle in China so the app store has essentially 11 apps XD
The chinese can make great hardware now but still lack the software skills. The gadget looks nice but a little small for my needs but would love to have a phone with 2 screens where 1 is normal and the other e-ink on the back.
There was the Oaxis Inkcase for iPhone that had E-ink as second display for your phone as an e-reader.
I think the last gen was 1200mAh
So... it's a phone shape with a lot of "phone specification", but it doesn't have a calling option... O.o
