Thanks, that was the plan. Making the best "family show" guide for this synth. I'll be posting more about it soon. If you like little synths...take a look at Neutron ( there is a guide like this coming in a few days), it's an amazing little synth, capable of a lot.

And yes, the K2 will come soon, right now is at the repair shop, used it a lot so a couple of things stopped working. With the CAT I cannot really promise anything, all the synths I do is because I bought them, Behringer doesn't provide anything for me. So If I can find one on the used market, I promise I'll get it and do a deep dive.

HI pass filter is for resonance as a 4th oscilator... It works that with cutoff i can hear all three osc as good as resonance with KB controll (1&2). Other than that it is useless. But, yeh... it is good to have that option.

Hi, great video. I just have one question before I take a deeper dive into it. I am using Ableton Standard 11, with an Arturia Keylab MKII Midi keyboard I have no issues with external hardware I am using except for when using the Model D as I am running this through the USB Midi cable and not audio. I have one channel that is set up for Ext. Instrument and the Model D plays on this channel with an additional Midi Channel that is armed. Unfortunately I am only getting audio from the Ext. Instrument channel on the left side, so only one speaker (monitor). I am a novice to this home recoding thing and do it just as a (nice) hobby. Can you please explain why the Ext. Instrument only has sound coming out of one side, how would I rectify this? Your assistance or anyone else's for that matter would be greatly appreciated. One other thing the latency seems to be a bit delayed when striking a first note on the midi keyboard.

    Hi,
i have a qestion about the CV-voltages. I asked this in a Behringer-group on facebook, but nobody answered.
There are different ways control voltages may work. Some synths have a voltage going from 0V to (lets say) +8V, others have a voltage from -5V to +5V.
What kind of voltages are used in this synthesizer? Are they all above 0V or are the voltages going from minus to plus?
    Thanks for your informations...

At the start of the video you forgot to tell people to open up the filter. New users might not be hearing any sound because of this and be confused.

Like the tutorial. But after I tried the patch (around 1 hour in) for LFO Out to LC Gate In. My model D now will not play with the patch removed. It just plays a click every time I press a key. Can you help?

hey, well it could be a lot of things. Do the following, turn it off. unplug the cables from the patch bay and set it to all saw, volume of osc all they way up, envelopes all to 0 but the sustain all the way up. You can send me a picture on instagram or look me up on FB facebook.com/XNBmusic and send me a picture so i can see or try to reproduce it. Maybe it broke, who knows.

@@XNBeatsMusic Thanks for the quick reply. You are a star! My problem was I had all the envelope modifiers set to 0. I needed to either give it more delay or more sustain. I thought I'd broken it. Thanks again.😀

@@cplcrapper7654 Yay !!!! cool man. Good it was not the "broken" option. Either was this synths since they are very analog, they are easy to repair. You replace a patch bay in 10 minutes with a solder.

oh, I have a lot of connectors. You see part of the recording, but the raw footage is much longer, so you feel the impact of repeating connectors and word a lot more. But the "you know" is something very hard to control, specially when you are explaining, recording, watching the script and touching controls hahaha

@@XNBeatsMusic yes I konw, no problem. I like your video guides. Now I understand how to use "atteunators" on the Neutron (which is not well explained on other channels).
