What is your Favorite Supercross Race of all time?
Vegas 2017
Sooo many good races. Reeds last couple of wins were real special though.
Toronto 14
@@accusynca 100%
Atlanta 1990. Anaheim 1986 is a close second. Some of the ones in this video are pretty good. most are not.
Thank you for showing that mud race in 2020 from Eli and cooper, That was crazy what they did. I mean look at everyone else, that was what Stewart, Carmichael, and reed would do back in the day
🤙🏻
Reed just retired a couple years ago. There is still a Stewart racing, and RC was a child "Back in the day". lol
Oh---you mean "Yester-day".
For me, nothing beats Carmichael vs Stewart in 2006. They both rode completely out of their damn minds
100%
I just watch this instead of the current races. This has actual racing and excitement
I was probably 12 or maybe 13 when Reed took Stewart out in the old GA dome. What a memory. Stadium erupted. Miss that place as a SX fan
Same!
loved watching Reed beat Stewart
@@bigGatster didn't happen often lol
@@luvnher87 go watch 2007, happened most weekends

😒🐐 JS7
Reed can't win unless he rides dirty
That was dirty the so called GOAT on Pastrana
any js7 win is my fav
love that the video starts with an immediate gate drop, haven't even watched the rest haha. thanks for this looking forward to watching
I love what you do for us old racers that never die. I’m 43. And have five Suzuki two strokes to 125 and three 250s 93 through 95.
Really enjoyed watching. Great job putting it together 👍
thank you!
I only started watching this year, but Daytona 2022 was so much fun to watch, easily my favorite
Can I suggest go back and watch the 2017 las Vegas finale 250/lites
Anything with #4-#1 is a good video.
Man, watching that whoop footage at 7:55 right after seeing JS7 blitz them in the clip before 😂
Ryan villopoto is my idol
Stewart in Toronto was unbelievable. Total dominance. Maybe not the goat but he was the fastest man to ever ride a dirtbike.
Who’s the goat in ur opinion? Genuine question idk to much lol
@Mr. Wigelsworth I dunno man. There is honestly so many great riders. I think stewart was way ahead of his time and I think in his prime no one would beat him because he had the mentality of win or die. Tomac is really good now. No doubt he is the fastest right now when he is riding good. Rc ripped on a dirtbike also. Villopoto was fun to watch in his prime. So many greats. I think I would probably give it to Stewart though. He was suspended when he was still really fast and I think he would of had alot more wins. Dude was wicked fast and took lines that no one else would. You don't really see that stuff anymore. You will see flashes of it with tomac but I dunno stewart was a beast. Even rc to this day will say stewart is the fastest guy to ever ride a dirtbike. 🤷♂️ it's tough alot of great riders and they all had their strengths and weaknesses. Stewart's weakness was himself sometimes he rode a little out of control but it was amazing to watch. I'm not mentioning a few other greats either. Dungey,McGrath, tons of guys that were plagued by injuries also.
@@Mr.Wigelsworthit’s between goat, js7, jeffery herlings, tony corroli,
@@Mr.WigelsworthRC, js7 n Eli.
Stewart is the goat. Nobody will ever ride a motorcycle as fast and as stylish as JS259
Watch you guys all the time, great videos, but you left out the best ones,go back to the late 80s and 90s when the track wasn't just perfect rhythm sections and the best rider really won
Carmichael and McGrath era was the best
Thanks 👍
Thank you video ..
Mine was Daytona with Reid and Windham
To me, the Villopoto years were the bests.
No doubt
No. Carmichael, Reed and Stewart years and it’s not even close
Jacksonville 2009 gotta be my favorite SX race of all time. Prime JS vs prime CR.
That was a great one
That was badass. I went to a few of those races in Anaheim. Brings back great memories.
The whole video I was like “where is Georgia dome 2011” saved the best for last great video
I was fortunate to be at St.Louis SX when LaRocco won… Great race!
EPIC
So under appreciated. Great work wd
much appreciated
I hope we could see a rivalry next year. like badblood
Dude, art eckman and Bailey were the best. Bailey was so observant and knowledgable
100%
*@**2:05* if you look at the list of rider positions *Bowers* is listed in 8th 9th & 10th...lol
Best video I’ve watched in a long time,Great job
Atlanta 2011 best of the best
Fax Reed was him that night😂😂😂
Thanks for the upload
No problem!
I will never forget the daytona race between reed and windham. I sat soaked in the stands and about cried when reed lost it. Such an amazing race but so heartbreaking
2007 st louis 2007 indy js7 came from last to 1st reed had like a 22 second lead
👌🏻
Miss the days of Ralph and emig in the broadcast booth
Loved how you alternated eras back and forth. These are the best races hands down. You should have added Atlanta 1990.
It’s crazy to see the difference in speed between the older races and the more modern ones. These guys/bikes are so much faster and smoother.
Depends on the ERA. Villopoto was best when he was racing. I'd go as far to say he is probably the best rider ever.
Would love to match him in his prime against RC
@@wd840mxhighlights Both in their prime, I still believe VP would win. This guy got so much natural talent it's insane. And they did Race MXDN 2007 and VP won that, on a 250.
@@NickoSupra RC did get a bad start in the moto they did together and he had an injury from what i understand. RC did say he would hate to have to raced villo.
great video!!!
Thank you!!
Yea 2stoke I'm bias for Zach Osborne we have a mutual friend and im from Bristol TN jus down the rd from where he grew up so yea 17 las Vegas was hands down the greatest race I've ever seen
I’m a lifelong fan of the sport and you sir know how to edit a video for true moto lovers! Great watch!!!
Thank you! Im a moto fan so i know what we like!
@@wd840mxhighlights I have got a 5 DVD set titled “World‘s greatest Supercross races: over 22 hours of extreme racing excitement” it says. First DVD starts with races from 75 and by disc 5 it finishes with the 88 season. So 75 to 88 this thing ranges. I watched it a few times back in the day and it’s just been sitting. The copyright on it says it was produced in 2006. I think this would satisfy people like that guy who said Bob Hannah was his favorite rider. This covers Bob Hannah‘s entire career
@@wd840mxhighlights How do I post bold racing videos on TH-cam? I’ve got a box full of VHS tapes stuff I recorded going back to 1999. Can I post that stuff on TH-cam?
@@Antmanmoto You might have copyright issues but other people have done it so who knows, if you can convert it to digital then you can try uploading.
Great video! Missing a couple of good races that I thought should have made this... '98 Tempe (Phoenix) McGrath vs Lusk, in which Yogi finally beat MC. '02 Pontiac was another good one as RC came from almost last to 2nd place after a high speed crash. And where is Vegas 2017?
Ill probably make a second vid sometime, I didnt want to use too many races that are overplayed. They definitely deserve to be on the list tho.
All these great races but where is Pontiac 2002? All those lead changes, Carmichael coming from dead last with his visor in his face finishing second?
I can't get enough of seeing Weeb go backwards in the whoops. What a lucky title holder.
reed and james taking each other out so RV can win his first title.
I can't believe how much slower these guys look now compared to James Stewart or Chad Reed!
Eli's ride at Salt Lake 2017 should be on here.
Yeah I just felt like it’s been overplayed but it’s deserves to be in the vid 100%
What no Marty Smith, Bob Hannah, Ricky Johnson?
Tomac reminds me of the movie “Step Brothers”, when Brennan calls his stepdad “Dobac.”
Can any one find the 1986 la coliseum 125 race between Rick Johnson and Guy Cooper I've looked everywhere
Anything older than 1990 seams hard to find.
Can we maybe get a 125/250 edition
That’s on the list!
Kinda new fan of sx but Jett Lawrence going from last to winning that beat race last season was pretty insane.
100%
If your new to Supercross go down the James "Bubba" Stewart rathole, he was incredible, last to first many times and Ricky Carmichael lapped the entire field in a race, literally lapped everyone on the track.
Enjoy 🤙🏼can't wait for Anaheim 1
@@rico8089yep. Stewart woulda lapped Jett or any current riders. The young guys don’t understand how unbelievably fast JS was. The new gen doesn’t even come close.
Nesquik/ Pop Tart / FMF / VP racing Kawasaki
When Zack won the championship the last race
Last race, nearly last corner after having to come through the pack.
Yes… one of the greatest 250 class races. But the 450 class is where the money is made.
@@markdawson8946What does the money have to do with it bruh
Oh lord
😅
Again you forgot the only european that beat all best supercros rider of his era outdor and indor and luckly for McGrath that he left cose else the legend of supercros would no longer exist.
That man is Jean Michel Bayle
1988 125cc World Champion
1989 250cc World Champion
1991 AMA 250cc Supercross Champion
1991 AMA 250cc National Champion
1991 AMA 500cc National Champion
He competed in the United States in 1991, becoming the only rider ever to win all three major AMA motocross championships in the same year (Supercross, 250cc and 500cc). Having won many of the major motocross championships.
when saintlouis first had supercross i went every year for years from day one we solds cars and a whole group of us car dealers went to shomes on the landing went to supercross and the strip clubs after then they started the whole 4 stroke thing and that killed the tradition after that us car dealers never hung out kinda said
That race at 45:40 is what made me dislike chad from that point on.
Definitely not the best in history, Missing lot from the 90’s this is basically from 2000 and up.
That one race Reed is an idiot running slam into the side of Stuart I mean even took his own self out this is stupid riding I'd rather take second 7th or whatever it was that was just dumb Cowboys like that that screw up their own career look if you can't win straight up then I guess just T-Bone a guy I've never been a big reed fan, he comes off as some cocky aussie
On even bikes, 250 2-strokes, Hannah would have kicked all their asses. He and Wardy
YUYYJJAAAJJAYYYYYY
Seriously? No race title before every race? Lazy writing [as DeadPool would say]. Lol
