I started getting into graffiti and practicing it around when lockdown started and since I wasn’t able to go many places I wasn’t getting much better with spray paint so when I got my oculus quest 2 I got a game called king spray graffiti because I heard it was really realistic and I’ve found that I like it a lot more than using paper. If you have a VR rig I recommend it. Obviously I wouldn’t completely replace using paper but once you feel like you are getting good with shapes and all of that other basic stuff using kingspray will help you a lot.

Don't tell people that they can't go over people that are better at a legal wall... That is the whole point of a legal wall is to learn and practice. If someone that burns wants to make a piece that will not get done over, hit somewhere that no one else will touch... Not a legal wall.
I know I’m a little late on this comment, but this video was extremely helpful. I’ve always had an interest in graffiti, but I just recently started doing it. I started doing my first couple of sketches a couple of days ago and the finished pieces turned out quite nicely. Dont be a biter m8. Just begin with some block or bubble pieces and create your own style. Graffiti its art not just a good looking picture on a wall or something. Learning by doing than u get your own style.. did u get your own style people (maybe) can understand your message behind your piece. And.. keep calm.. graffiti needs much time to learn.
@@flowlezz9830 yes, but replicating other works (not just flat out stealing it though) can help you grow and develop your own style, but you'd have to watch the works your replicating.

I kind of started with expensive markers depending on how u see it. Started learning tags with cheap Ones and when it looked good i bought a posca pen and tagged everywere now 8monts later i use mostly molotows 25mm dripstick and montana 15mm acrylic marker and my throwies starting to look Good so i bought 3loop cans and some different caps to start slowely and do some smal throwies
Taylor Ronan hence why he says no color in the beginning because you have no Style he says once style progresses not word for word like this but one stop regresses then you start adding color because now you have Style with your progression to the next step and honestly until you find your style keeping everything black and white is still color you just keeping your colors basic if anything I would suggest keeping everything two to three colors tops when you begin but if anything keep everything black and white this way here you can stay clean on your lines on your original

Tip- bring a fake wallet. Throw it if the cops are chasing you and they will stop because they think they have your ID. Edit: If a piece you do in a place near you gets buffed, don’t go back over it. It’ll make the cops know that you frequent the area and you don’t want them knowing that. That’s my 2 cents.

i disagree with not using color at the beginning . u want your fills to evolve with your style
