Finally a video on you tube that talks about the voice of Stevie Wonder! WELL DONE! you spoke about the voice of the greatest pop, funk and soul singer in the world! the whole world learned from Stevie's voice! My life is what it is because Stevie was born one day in 1950! I never understood why with such a voice that all singers try to copy, no one ever talked about Stevie's technique! well BRAVo for doing it! But there is still so much left to say...

Love, love, love Stevie Wonder. Besides his unbelievable talents as a songwriter, musician and singer, there is so much more to love about Stevie. His social activism and activity in numerous humanitarian efforts just make him a really great person. He has given us so much joy through his musical talents but God has blessed him to do so much more. Thank you for everything Stevie. I saw him at the Fox Theatre in Detroit when he first came on the scene. Appreciate this great reaction. 👏👏😊🇨🇦

Aaron really ? I’m assuming you’re young but Stevie is a legend. !!! how could you not know Stevie ?? 😂. I’m glad you found him . Go listen to his first record . Stevie became blind shortly after he was born . He began playing the piano at age 9. he was living in the ghetto but even with his success and millions of dollars , he hasn’t become arrogant. He hasn’t forgotten about the poor, the underprivileged and has never ever been disrespectful

So when Stevie Wonder auditioned for Motown. Berry Gordy didn't like his singing. He loved his Harmonica playing. But,he is definitely one to study. He evolved since that audition obviously.

Error en el minuto 6:13 Stevie Wonder mantiene estable la laringe, no la sube, es por eso que suena como apretada, y se puede comprobar en el minuto 7:05 su laringe se mueve poco. David McCall está en lo correcto 👌

i would love an in depth docu about the singing of stevie wonder, clearly he is part of the great black singing traditions of his time....Nasal was the first thing that struck me when i first heard him, that and, indeed, he sounded like he was smiling all the time whilst singing....nasal was frowned upon, because, well.....its not wrong but it fits some styles of music better then others, and nasal music styles often were the popular or vernacular music styles as opposed to 'classical' or ' trained' music styles, that had different esthetics....

    Hi Justin,
your videos are awesome, it's a big pleasure to learn many things about our voice and the chance we all have to improve our vocal abilities.
I am a huge fan of Lou Gramm and Paul Rogers and I would very much appreciate to get a vocal analysis of these two great rock singers. Do you think that'll be possible next time?
Thanks a lot and best greetings from Germany! Armin

Correction here, just because someone is blind doesn’t mean they don’t have any vision. It’s a pretty big spectrum ranging from no sight/light perception only to people I know who are still legally blind but don’t need a cane to travel assuming their vision doesn’t deteriorate. Can’t comment on Stevie because I don’t know him personally but just throwing that out there to address that misconception.
