Sir my multimeter is same as urs but mine under register check section when I turn it ,it shows value (2k=1.6,20K=4.04,200K=4.0,2M=0.04,200M=00.0) without touching it come this value ,is it multimeter fault plz help me
Black lead on com hole and red one on the left hole (underneath it says 10A). You need to switch holes where you are putting red lead because left one has a higher amp circuit breaker and right one really low amp circuit breaker(in mili amps). And then you just use leads as if you are checking voltage. Because now your multimeter is acting as ammeter, therefore it should be connected in series with the element in the circuit.
